Preparing for a con myself, will be at it all weekend.
I will have enough net access that I don’t expect any trouble keeping up with this game.

I was in a rise of the runelords game once, with a cleric of Calistria.

Lol, thanks. Still seems odd to me that Nocticula's favored weapon is a hand crossbow. Seems like a whip would make more sense, but I guess that would mean too much Calistrian overlap.

Sorry for the delay, I have been at C2E2 this weekend that consumed much of my time. Will advance after work this evening. Would someone mind botting Tetsudo in the meantime?

I think this chronicle will get Tereze and myself to lvl 7.

As stated when I started, this is a GM star replay for me. Please mark that on my chronicle. No day job on this character.

Now that the adventure is over, I have a GM credit to apply to the character as well, so I level to six. I will try to fit in another couple of GM credits so I am seventh level before we go into Dragon’s Demand part 3.

Now to think what discovery to take with lvl 7 feat.

Sorry for not being around. The pandemic has made things even more crazy... though, my state is shut down for a few weeks, so I should be able to post a bit and get caught up... if nothing else, I'm happy to allow testudo to be a bot of doom to protect your characters. :)

Speaking of haste, as i looked over alchemists extracts.... haste -is- on it.

My lvl 3 extracts chosen are haste and resist energy [communal]

It generally doesn’t make sense to take communal on an alchemist extract, only one person drinks it.

Likewise, the Haste would work like a potion of haste.

Dang...got overly excited.

Will swap it for something else later today.

My strong preference, especially for PbP, is to go the RP route, so I'd vote for option 2.

So. Pandemic cost me my job. It sucks. But hey, I got some more time to post now, so you'll see me more often I hope. Plus my brother in law has been bugging me to do more PBP to help cope with the lockdown (I'm asthmatic and my sister is currently pregnant, so even if lockdowns lift we're not gonna be venturing out.) So.... Yay, more turtle crazy.

Ugg, I'm so sorry Testudo. I'll echo Kegan's statement in that I hope this ends up being better for you in the end.

As much as we will enjoy having you back consistently, your real life comes first.

Legal assistant actually, but my firm specialized in foreclosures, evictions, that sorta thing. With all FHA's on hold until september or so, and evictions stopped, ect, they let go of almost all of us.

I can't be to upset. Frankly i'm glad that they stopped that stuff, even if it did mean i'd be laid off.

And yeah, at home right now, working on filling out resumes and such.

I will still be 6th level when we go into the module. I am slated to run a scenario on the 17th, but even with that I will be 1 XP short of 7th.

It's a pity if so, the character is fun.

It wouldn't, but I'll admit to being a little miffed.

Look, I get it, I haven't been around as much. I basically had life take over and rather than ruin it decided to let you guys have the character as bot until I could come back, and I assumed if he died or something, no big deal it would be in service to your greater story.

I dunno, i guess if you guys really like the character and playing with him I could stay in, but frankly i'd rather take no experience and no gold for the adventure and at least leave open the chance to replay it someday rather than have to track a random .5 that will never mean anything the rest of this character's career other than to constantly remind me "Hey, remember that time that you abandoned some of your online friends because depression, a s$@+ty job, and a global pandemic made you feel like s$&% and not be willing to play a game you used to find joy in? Great times right?"

So yeah...

Like I said, if GMIrish202 would do me the favor of not crediting me for this last adventure, and if you guys still want me around, I'll stick around and try to be present during the next round.

Quick Note: I am not angry or upset at our GM. I'm only upset with myself and my failure to support folks who where counting on me, even if it was only for an online game. Our GM is doing what is the best thing by offering to give me a half point, and I appreciate their willing to do even that, considering that my absence has undoubtedly been a pain in their rear end this entire time.

More than likely you could replay this adventure at some point. Around the time that PF2 was starting up, people were given a number of PF1 replays. The number of replays depend on how much content they had already played.

You can find out how many replays you have. If you go into your Organized Play section under My Account and then go to the “GM/Event Coordinator” you will see a button that says something to the effect of your organized play points are out of sync.

Push the button and it will come back with a count of your tables in each system, any play test points you may have, a number of replays, and any ACP you may have for Pathfinder Second Edition, and a number of replays.

Look for the line:

You have xx Replays.

Where xx is the number of PF1 replays you get. You would need to tell the GM ahead of time that you were using one of those replays and they should note it on the chronicle that a replay was used. The number you have is based on amount of playing you had done before about July of last year — sorry I don’t recall the exact date.

Those replays are in addition to any you might earn by GMing.

As for the chronicle, a 0 xp, 0 pp, 0 gold chronicle would still prevent you from playing the scenario again without a replay.

As for the .5 xp, you could slow track a single scenario and get back to whole numbers of xp.

Now given the circumstances there may be other possible ways of handling it. You and GM Irish would have to contact one of the Online VOs to see if there are other options that you would find more satisfactory. GM Irish did need to give you a chronicle because you had participated in the adventure. Real life got in the way for a LOT of people, the VOs are well aware of that.

As for continuing, my preference would be do what is right for you.

If things have changed enough where you can participate, great! I would like to see you play your character. Please only do this if it is something that would be fun for you. Don’t do it if it is something you feel you “have to do”, the game is supposed to be fun not a chore.

If you still are in a situation where you really don’t have the time, mental bandwidth, or energy then please drop. Come back when you are in a better situation. Lots of people have taken a break from gaming when real life got in the way. Let’s face it, right now real life is getting in the way of a lot of people’s fun. Come back when you can enjoy it, it will be better for all involved.

Please do what is right for you.

Keagan, your right of course. I reacted badly do to a combination of over stress and other factors. This is not an easy time for anyone right now, and so while it's no excuse, I hope you'll all accept my reason for being upset and my outburst and accept my apology for any additional stress I may have caused.

GM Irish, I'll take the credit you have very graciously offered, and I'll buck up and keep playing. I hope I can give a better showing this time around. Thank you all again for your patience with me.

I've seen people burn out on gaming. I try to watch for the signs and encourage people to avoid it themselves. When you say something like "buck up and keep playing", I really want to stress that it should be fun and not a duty.

Hope to have fun in this next one. In the meantime, back to prep on the scenario I'm running tomorrow!

If anything it's the opposite. I'm dying to play right now, and I can't really play with my normal groups very well because discord/voicechat style does a number with my anxiety. Just dealing with a lot of loss and stress right now.
