Get ready, here goes.
Ezekias opens the door, rapier in hand.

A living, moving fabric seems to cover the ceiling of this half-collapsed chamber, which stretches northwest into darkness. The pungent smell of ammonia rises from the droppings that litter the floor. As you open the door a bat detaches itself from the ceiling and flies towards you, followed by another..and 2 more..and 4 more..and then 8, 16, 32..a whole swarm of them

Samuel slams the door shut, pushing his back against it.
"A swarm of bats, my steel is no use against those. Unless one of you bought an alchemists fire?"
Samuel remains against the door, unless one of the other Pathfinders has something to deal with the swarm.

![]() |

*cough, cough* Khabash still has 5 bombs left for the day along with a pair of acid flasks, and he adds his INT bonus to damage with splash weapons.

![]() |

"Did you see anything of interest besides the swarm? If not, best we continue elsewhere and come back when we have explored the rest of the fortress."

![]() |

Excellent idea, fellow shave-pate. We can deal with the bats later, if we so choose.

![]() |

Samuel just doesn't like things he can't stab to death. Nothing stopping you guys going full alchemist against these things.

![]() |

Right, off we go.

![]() |

Samuel opens the door:
Cracks in the walls and ceiling of this chamber have allowed rainwater to collect here, flooding the room and giving rise to a profusion of mold and fungus along the walls and ceiling.
In the middle of the room is a giant frog it's tongue flickers out of his mouth and it tries to hit you with it!

Did I say Daze? I meant Flare (DC 14). Thanks for the help.

Ever the hero, Samuel raises his sword and charges towards the giant frog.
"For Andoran!"
Charge with longsword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Hopefully it's flat-footed AC is 11 =S

While Samuel charges, Khabash takes a quick shot at the frog.

ezekias sends some dazzling lights towards the frog.Fort save vs Flare: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 The frog blinks once, then twice..and then seems to have no negative effects from the lights
Khabash shoots a crossbow bolt as Samuel charges in, having to shoot past a doorway and Samuel means his aim is off by a bit and the bolt flies over the frog
Samuel then is able to hit the giant frog with his sword.
Velinov send a blinding ray at the frog who blinks a couple of time and seems to be seeing sparks (He's dazzled and not blinded, he has more HD then Velinov)

Impressed that the frog survived the groups initial assualt, Samuel rallies himself for another attack on the creature.

Longsword Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 71d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The Andoran weilds his longsword with a flourish, almost taking the creature in its bulbous throat, but the warriors aim is slightly off. and only manages to pierces deeper into the creatures fleshy bulk.
I'm guessing the 22 hits, but I doubt the 7 confirms. Nevermind, it's still damage.

Ezekias moves in, charging his rapier as he goes.

Samuel get a good hit in on the frog The 7 does indeed not confirm
Zahir is able to follow that up with a mace against the frog's skull..dropping it to the floor..right before Ezekias walks in and swings his rapier over it's head...but that's logical because it's head is a bit lower now.
You didn't use your blinding ray or arcane pool enhancements

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Samuel moves towards the statue, scooping it up.
"It appears to be a statue of an angelic creature, could certainly be considered 'treasure'."

I forgot to mention there is another door in the room with the frog. I'll assume you'd check that one out first
Lilly checks the door but doesn't find any traps..or a lock. Samuel opens the door and sees that part of the room is collapsed and you can even look down on part of the floor below it through the crack in the side of the tower. Nothing else can be seen here although you smell the faint scent of bat guano coming from below.
You close the door and move back to the other room, Lilly again checks to the door for traps and doesn't find any.
Samuel opens the door;
A brazier of glowing coals sits in the center of this room, its acrid smoke mixing with the ever-present troglodyte stench. A few knives, pokers, and other metal implements lie atop a rusty iron box nearby.
In the room next to the brazier is the biggest troglodyte you've seen so far. He's wielding a club in one hand and an javelin in his other, around his neck is a cord with a key dangling from it.

Springing once more into action, Samuel darts across the room to engage their foe and prevent him closing on the Andorans lighter armoured associates.
Just a move and attack on this one, no map access due to being at work so I'd appreciate if someone could move me up to the enemy.

Samuel boldly walks into the room but is unable to get through the creatures though hide with his sword.

Khabash moves into position in case healing will be required while Velinov does not manage to blind the troglodyte.
No clue if Lilly is back yet..so NPC-ing her in for now
Lilly moves into the room and takes a shot at the troglodyte 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 5 - 4 = 7 but the shot goes wild.
In return the troglodyte opens it's mouth and hisses 1s2e: 3d2 ⇒ (1, 1, 1) = 3 and decides to attack Samuel full on, dropping his javelin so he can swipe his claw across Samuel's face

@Samuel, yes, you're right I think. I'm not used to this class yet. With GM's approval, I'll retroactively use Defensive Casting.

Totally understandable mate. I only noticed cause I GM a game with Magus PC and we all had trouble adjusting to some of the rules.

You rolled your concentration before I got here..so no problem here ;)
Ezekias fails to stick his rapier into the troglodyte but he's able to deliver a massive shock by simple touching the creature, dropping it to the floor.
Out of combat
The troglodyte had a club, a javelin and a key hanging from a cord around it's neck.
