Unfortunately without the technologist feat you can't really identify the weapon.
After studying it a bit Zeno is able to piece together how the woman's exotic weapon works but it's capacity remains beyond his understanding.
In addition to the exotic weapon and her shortbow the party finds a wand, two empty potion vials, and three more of those sparking arrows.
Looking over the rest of the exhibit hall there doesn't look to be anything else of interest or other signs of what's transpired in the museum. To the west the party finds a simple workshop where exhibits are cleaned or repaired as the need arises. In the southwest corner a long flight of stairs leads up to the second floor of the museum. The rest of the first floor is unoccupied.

Moving upstairs the party passes through another expansive exhibit hall and a series of unoccupied staff offices.
Exploring further south the party enters a large salon decorated with warm colors and skillful paintings of scenes and landscapes. A few small tables and chairs have been up-ended and scattered around the floor.
The source of the room's disruption quickly slithers into view - a twisted trunk clustered with bulbous blossoms that holds up a gaping mouth ready to swallow a victim whole. The alien creature glares at the party with inhuman eyes and moves in to attack.
