Mikail grins widely at the ugly brute and sarcastically toasts the minataur with his potion of vanish before he quaffs the drink in one shot and disappears before its eyes.
I then move to the side so that if it does follow I am no longer where I would have been

Unseen by the minataur, Mikail runs across the front of the fight, and then pops back into view as his mace smacks into the ugly brutes kneecap

Gralmin will grab his mace and attempt to stand up.

As Gralmin stands, the minotaur turns from Mikail to swipe at the half-orc, thinking it has an easy attack. However, Gralmin is just barely able to dodge the axe swing. Missing the swing, the minotaur returns it's attention to the rogue who just stabbed it in the back...

Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1) + 4 = 6
...and is able to clip the little rogue in the shoulder.

Frustrated, she slams the muzzle of her weapon against the soft earth. The ruined cartridge slides out of the barrel and onto the ground. Grumbling, she pulls out another and loads it into her weapon.
Spending another grit point to Quick Clear as a move action.

Clearly winded and staggering to the side from the blow that nearly felled him, the little halfling swings again at the oversized brute

And still trying to keep the world from spinning around him, he misses..

Gralmin and hit the minotar, but it's thick hide seems to prevent any damage from going through. Mikail misses entirely in his swing. The minotaur, unconcerned with these weakened fores, turns it's sights on the paladin as it raises it's axe and swings.

However, the tanglefoot resin still coating it's arms gets in the way and forces it to miss.

With a high swing, Helena slices the throat of the minotaur from ear to ear! It then just stands there, dumbly waving it's hand over it's mouth, trying to figure out why it can't breath. Seconds later, the party hears a loud BANG almost instantly followed by a sickening CRACK as Adeah's bullet finds the beast's temple, putting it down for good.
Combat over!
As the dust begins to settle, you see a very bloodied Janira crawl out of the brush, dragging one foot behind her and clutchihng at her shoulder with her remaining good arm. Though she appears to be in great pain, she smiles as she approaches you and says Well done, initiates! I do beleive you've earned your place in the Society, if for no other reason than your timely rescue. Tell me though, what did you discover about the caverns below?"

"Now that is how to bring down a beast Helena! I would say that Abadar helped make that happen but, I know that might be giving not enough credit to you!"
Gralmin then rushes to Janira and does a heal check to make sure she is okay.

Helena will kneel down next to Janira, draw her wand of CLW again, and cast it on Janira.

Mikail weakly drinks his potion of cure light wounds and then recalls the plan for the undead army and relates this to Janira and hands her the note from the Dhampir. " Great job, Helena and Adeah! You guys really came through, but something tells me that this isn't quite over yet.. We still need to warn Uori!"

Janira sits and listens to the group's story in full, taking healing potions from her backpack and using healing charges from her wand as she does so. At certain point, she interjects with a burst of enthusiasm, like "You actually spoke with a gillman!? Oh, how wonderful! What was he like?" "There were undead in the caverns? Well, I never expected to find those here."
When the story is finished, Janira stands and says "Congratulations, each and every one of you! You have each surpassed all expectations that were set for you when we first left Absolam. We must return later with a full team of scholars and cartoghraphers to catalog these findings! But for now, I beleive our work here is done. Let's return and report our findings to the Master of Scrolls. I'll help him file all the necassary paperwork to ensure that each of you is made a full member of the society."
