I knew these things would turn on us sooner or later. Their screaming will alert everything to our presence. So much for the element of surprise. She grabs for her musket as she darts forward, aims at the nearer of the two, and pulls the trigger.
I'll move myself when I get home.

Gralmin pulls out his mace and moves forward. Close enough to draw their attacks but, not close enough to attack himself.
If the stream is fast moving or deep I won't be standing where I am. I will rather be on the other side of the shore with my crossbow drawn and loaded.

She smacks the muzzle of her weapon, pointing it downward, and the ruined cartridge slides down the barrel and onto the ground. She kicks it into the water in frustration and loads another round, taking a step forward.

As the small creature falls away from the killing blow, it's comrade steps forward to stabs again at Gralmin.

While the others are searching the bodies, Mikail sneaks up the exit tunnel a short distance to see if the fight caught the notice of anything else down here

Making your way back to the main cavern, you see that Uori has resumed is meditation and thus ignores you as you pass through. Continuing on down the eastern passage, the cave’s damp air becomes increasingly stale as you continue down through this tunnel, and as you approach this area, the stench of decay grows increasingly evident. The passage turns to the east and opens into a small cavern littered with bits of broken glass, rotting pieces of paper, and other unusable detritus. The body of a male dhampir lies facedown toward the back of the cavern.

Looking for threats or anything that might tell me what happened to the dhampir. If I find nothing from looking around the room, I approach the body. If I do, I will react accordingly.

She keeps an eye on Uori as they pass, her trust in him somewhat lessened after the previous attack by others of his kind. When they discover the body, she steps closer and inspects it, taking care not to step on anything she might regret.

As Adeah and Mikail make thier way into the room, four creatures step out of the shadows. Two appear as walking corpses with flesh simply falling off their bones while the other two are far more decayed, appearing as nothing more than walking skeletons. With outstretched arms, they stumble towards the group.

"Damn, I hate straight up fights!!!" Mikail yells as he steps forward and swings at the nearest skeleton with his mace.

Both Helena and Mikail miss their mark. However, Helena knows quite a good bit about these creatures.
The skeletons shuffle forward, one clawing at Mikail and one at Adeah. The zombies (walkers) shuffle forward and try to bite Helena.

Too distracted by the foulness of these walking corpses, one of the skeletons is on top of her before she can even react. Far too close to the thing to use her long musket effectively, she rips her dagger from its sheath and makes a desperate slash.

Adeah tries to stab the skeleton but goes right through it's ribcage, missing it entirely. Helena is more successful as she cuts off the zimbie's arm, but it still stands. Meanwhile, the undead horde mindlessly continues it's attack.

She ducks under the creature's swipes, trying not to let it hit her again. With Mikail helping her keep the creature busy, she slashes at it a second time.
