About Angelo Gaius Cassius Fierro

Angelo Gaius Cassius Fierro is the son of a Chelish family; the culmination of a pact that the nobles undertook to gain power in the times after the death of Aroden. For years, he was kept in a figurative gilded cage, not allowed to roam the world, as much a symbol of the family's rise to power, as a reminder of the debt they owed.

He hated his containment, and in his copious spare time, devoured every book, tome, and scroll that he could get his hands on. His time alone did nothing to teach him humility, nor did it teach him how to interact with others. When the inevitable happened, and his family got on the wrong side of the Thunes, he had an opportunity to flee Cheliax.

Flee he did. First to Osirion, to study wherever he could. Dissatisfied with how he was treated (as an equal in scholarship... the did not recognize what he thought was his brilliance). From there to Absalom, where he spent the last of the wealth that he took with him from Cheliax, finally ending up desperate and broke. It was at this time that he learned of the Pathfinders (his relative isolation in his years of captivity never mentioned these "meddlers"). Wanting leadership as far from that which he grew up under, he was impressed by the honest humility of Amara Li and the Lantern Lodge.

It took Angelo some soul searching, but he decided to delve into the mysteries of ancient Orision, as his replacement for the Lantern Lodge. He feels their teaching will guide him towards a greater understanding of his skills.

But, it needn't be said that wherever he ends up, he'll be impressing others with his skill, and with his lack of humility.
