Taliesin begins to recite an epic poem of Pathfinder triumph over evil, inspiring her companions.
Inspire courage + banner = +2 attack/+2 dmg! Don't forget!

Lone wishes to god for battle.
Cast spells list:
Bless to: Taliesin Kenji Taliesin Lone, +1 attack roll/saving throws against fear effects.
Shield of Faith to: Kenji, +2 deflection bonus to AC.
Protection from Evil to: Otom, +2 AC and saves against evil.

bless doesn't generally stack with inspire courage as both are morale bonuses, so you can save your spell... maybe wait and cast if combat goes longer than Taliesin can maintain her inspire?
"Thanks for bolstering my defense, Lone, and for the inspiration, good bard." Kenji opens the door and peers in, trying to get the lay of the place and find the 'servant' before fully entering.

bless doesn't generally stack with inspire courage as both are morale bonuses.
Actually Inspire courage is a competence bonus. Flag Bearer is a moral bonus so it doesn't stack with that.
Zarta’s bedroom is decorated in the colors of Cheliax—ebon black and crimson red. Silk, rare woods, and carefully carved marble compose every bit of furniture in the room. Goose down now litters the room, covering almost every surface and the silken shreds of the cushions that contained it lie about like flayed skin . A post on the massive screened bed is snapped in half, collapsed on the bed and drawing the screened curtains into a ripped slope of formerly fine cloth. Vials of perfume and crystal jars of other cosmetics sit smashed on the marble floor around the dresser. A prominent fixture in the room, a large “X” made of stout wood sits along the west wall, complete with leather shackles and chains. A table sits to its left strewn with various items intended for pleasure, but outwardly resembling implements of pain.
Sitting in the middle of this scene of debauchery and destruction is a small wigged creatures with red scaly skin and a long barbed tale. It does not seem to even notice your arrival as it is too busy smashing a black iron box on the ground prying at it with its claws.

how much damage would the letter opener do if I use it to attack with? Also - does it count as a dagger, or do I have to take non-prof penalties with it?

Kenji, you forgot to add the +2 to daamge. Also are you using the dagger?
Both Kenji and Otom rush forward and land solid blows on the creature. Unfortunately something about its fiendish nature prevents all the damage from going through.
The Imp hisses angrily at being interrupted. Holding onto the box tightly he eyes the party and you can all see his wounds start to heal on their own. Crouched low to the ground the Imp finally springs at Kenji trying to sting her with its barbed tail.

Otom scratches his beard for a second with a raised eyebrow then shakes his head and makes for the door. At least the old bat with the orphans had a bottle of whisky. He says under his breath.

Kenji just lofts a brow at her, then gives a quirky smile, knowing she didn't quite mean him, but he's okay with that. He leaves with the others, clapping Otom on the shoulder on the way out... "How about I buy a bottle at the tavern after we make our report... we can split it."

"In the future, you may want to employ less volatile servants," she says with a look at the destroyed bedroom.
Turning on her heel, she joins the others.
"I think we may be done! Let's head back!" she exclaims.

Taliesin continues to inspire the others with her magnificent bardic performance. 8 rounds remaining, free action to maintain. Remember that +2/+2, everyone!
Still, she is able to do more than one thing at once. With a look of feigned concern on her face, she says to the highwaymen, "Careful, didn't you see that sign that says 'Slippery When Wet'?!"
Instantly, a sheet of grease appears beneath their feet. DC 16 reflex save, drawing the 10' square on the map.
The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item. Material objects not in use are always affected by this spell, while an object wielded or employed by a creature requires its bearer to make a Reflex saving throw to avoid the effect. If the initial saving throw fails, the creature immediately drops the item. A saving throw must be made in each round that the creature attempts to pick up or use the greased item. A creature wearing greased armor or clothing gains a +10 circumstance bonus on Escape Artist checks and combat maneuver checks made to escape a grapple, and to their CMD to avoid being grappled.
