Rilia, Sacred Hetaira

"Jinkies!" Rilia says, holding her wand in one hand and the bound man's bindings in the other.
'Lizbeth'
|
Lizbeth groans inwardly, seeing more of this mess of a puzzle lock in together, yet it still made little sense as they had no chance to gain a motive! The sheriff it seemed, always butted in at the wrong moment. Ignoring her, Lizbeth kneels and looks to Rillia her hand flexing.
"Right my dear, let us question the fellow and find out quite what is going on here. Sheriff, if you would check on the children please?"
Whether the Sheriff leaves or not, Lizbeth will flick her wrist to catch a wand made of blackened Demon bone, carved haphazardly. Touching it to 'Uncle's' wounds, she watches them slowly start to seal and waits for him to awaken.
This assuming we didn't kill him outright, use Infernal healing so he regains ten hp over a minute. If he starts to resist, i will non-lethally clock him ^^
Staring at the man with a wicked smile she nods to Rillia.
Care to do the honours dearest?"
| GM Skipper |
He does indeed have the same last name as the alchemist... Dun, dun, DUUUUN.
The sheriff frowns at the accusations leveled at an upstanding member of the community, but she keeps her apprehensions to her self and sees to the children.
With application of Lizbeth's wand, Borvius eventually regains consciousness and after a brief moment of confusion settles into a spiteful glare.

With application ofLizbeth's wand[Rilia's wand], Borvius eventually regains consciousness and after a brief moment of confusion settles into a spiteful glare.
"Wakey wakey! Wanna tell us what's going on? Otherwise...." She holds up her suggestive wand and nods to whatever the strange, mute, gray thing is that seems to follow this party around like a pet.

Sheriff Feldane furrows her brow, trying to take all this in. After a tense moment, she adresses you.
"This whole thing is a mess... As far as I can tell, you've been on the side of the law in this, so hear me out; I can keep the events here under wraps for a day at most, so you could investigate Borvius' business, Ilsurian Storage & Hauling. I recognize some of the toughs downstairs as his employees, so you must be able to find something there..."
'Lizbeth'
|
Lizbeth rolls his eyes at the tough man act, but refrains herself for kicking a man in cuffs with the sherriff present. Turning her back on the pathetic businessman she sighs deeply Deeper and darker we go, this is a mess! Nodding to the sheriff she shrugs and turns to her companions.
"Right, so we have a lead, let us put Leb to good use eh?" she winks suggestively at Kara, mostly to see if she blushes before continuing. " Time to investigate!"
Kara Saint-Germaine SF
|
Oh, I think we both know that Leb has some...interesting talents, don't we?, Kara replies with a wink.
Onward to Ilsurian Storage & Hauling!
Kara Saint-Germaine SF
|
Sheriff, can you point us in the direction of the storage & hauling company? I think it's time we paid a visit.
Bump.

It seems it's time for me to show some of my ..talents?

Now, let's see what's interesting about this warehouse.
She listens at the door.

Whilst Leb plies his 'trade' on the doors to the Warehouse, Lizbeth uses the time to move to the rear of the building and check for anyone hanging around or any back doors. If nothing is found she will jog around the building before rejoining her companions as they prepare to enter the building ahead.

The smaller ones nearest us, unless Leb disagrees. He's the one who started it.
Balfour Granitehead
|
Balfour sighs amusedly. After the excitement at the manor, he'd forgotten about our party's amorous tendencies.
"Me and my sword are right behind you," he says to Lebraerio, "and don't try to make any innuendos out of that."
| GM Skipper |
As Lebraerio kneels down to get to work on the the lock, he realizes that isn't even locked. Opening the door, you see a desk and chair sitting against the east wall, with additional chairs situated nearby. Wall lamps light the room. To the north of the desk is a single door leading deeper into the warehouse.
A man sits behind the desk, and as you open the door he looks up and smiles.
"How can I help you?"
Lebraerio Hantwell
|
Looking at Balfour
"Me and my sword are right behind you"? I'm not sure I could do worse that what you say, innuendo or not. Sorry, Balfour, but that doesn't beat my drum...
Leb winks at the dwarf

Kara gives an in-character exasperated look in Leb's direction.
Boys! They never stop.

We are working with the Sheriff investigating the series of murders lately. Are you employed by Borvius Monchello? And are you engaged in any illegal activities here?

The man seems genuinely worried as he answers Kara.
"Oh, my... Borvius Monchello is indeed my employer, but as far as I know, all business conducted here is above board. I'll go get the foreman. He'll be able to answer your questions."
He stands up and moves towards the door leading further into the warehouse.
Lebraerio Hantwell
|
I think so. We haven't been too cautious so far, let's learn of our mistakes before it's too late.

Kara and Lebraerio skulk after the man into the warehouse proper, just in time to see him signal to a trio of bow wielding men on a catwalk.

"Typical. Archimeles said it would be like this." Rilia says and then in her orating voice. "Still with Lucky Lebraerio Lothario with us unexpected danger is expected. You guys in the rafters know why they call him that don't you. Because it takes a certain kind of luck to live the life he does, and a certain sort of luck to survive it."
