Sun misses, but his friends don't. The northern foe takes an arrow and sword cut, slaying him. Cyrus stabs the last foe, very nearly sending him unconscious.
Just Clair still to go, then any bad guys who are left.
I was so desperately hoping for a one round battle... that would be awesome, and a stunning display of our awesome battle strategy (aka color spray ftw)

"Thank you, Ibid. Who has the rope? I'd rather not kill a helpless person if I can help it." Jacob then walks over to the hostage to cut the bindings. "Should we put down those dogs in the other room? Since no one will be here to help them anymore they will probably die anyways. Besides, maybe some of their food has something we can use."
Cyrus, with the threat eliminated, takes a few extra minutes to search the room extensively, looking for anything that may be of use, including further evidence of the other scholars who have been captured. With that complete, he approaches the Tien man.

Pathfinder society, at your service. Our apologies we didn't get here sooner, we only just found out the wretched pirate woman's tactic of boarding the ships in secret. We still need to find out how she knew what ship you were boarding in order to be on it when it left. Those, I assume, will be details better left for the captains of the society. For now, we will get you safely to Harbor where you can do the work you came here to do.
With all of the details wrapped up, The group will have the Grippli help us sail back to turn in the pirate woman.
"Thank you Pathfinders. My name is Gurukaza. I am indeed grateful to you for your rescue. I fear that woman intended to kill me before long! But yes, let us return to the city and report to your superiors."
Back in Riddleport, Gurukaza offers his thanks yet again, and promises you any aid he can offer should you ever be in need of his assistance in the City of Cyphers. He further vows to do his best to ensure that Tammerhawk and any allied to the crime boss know the extent of your deeds.
After turning Alejia in, the assault on the Order of Cyphers ceases. Business returns to normal rather quickly for Tammerhawk and his academic associates, and the political tension between the crimelord and Cromarcky wanes. Word spreads quickly through Riddleport of the Pathfinders defeat of Alejia’s gang, and the Society develops a reputation as a formidable force within the town.
After returning to Magnimar, you are invited back to Heidmarch Manor for a debriefing with Venture-Captain Heidmarch. She expresses her thanks as well, and offers you a brief furlough in town at the Society's expense.
The End! Well played, everyone! Thanks for sticking with the game even though we went a week or two over the proposed schedule. I will print and scan chronicles tomorrow, likely in the morning.

Clair, after some negotiating, uses the expenses for the furlough to instead transport the corpses of those who were killed by the party to her home. The other party members are invited to come watch the bodies rise from the grave next week, when it's a full moon.
"You'll love it!" Clair says enthusiastically to her fellow Pathfinders. "You really should come watch! I bet you'll also love the sounds they make when they've just awoken, haha!"
Ibid agrees to watch Clair usher her new pet's into the world on the next full moon, but keeps a weary and watchful eye over his shoulder in case the cleric of Urgathoa decides her collection is short one tired old man...

"As fun as that sounds Clair, I will have to decline. I got a letter saying that my services are needed in Kaer Maga. Seems like dead bodies are going missing. If it wasn't for the fact that you are here, I would have thought you were at fault." Jacob jokes with Clair.
I would be interested in playing! I am currently involved in a current game of mist of mwangi, but it should be ending within the next couple days and I can provide the chronicle sheet once finished.
Look like a pretty well-rounded group. All of you on the roster, please go ahead and post an introduction in the gameplay thread. We can do the mission briefing and intro while we're waiting.
GM - I have procrastinated horribly updating my character from the last scenario I did (ie, purchasing some equipment with my newfound gold and prestige points) I will make sure I do that by this weekend, and link my chronicle sheet to you. If you notice anything that seems off, please let me know. I am somewhat new to this, and I am not 100% confident I am doing everything right.
OK, sorry for vanishing! Sun, is your other game over yet? Rax, you'd make six, but how is your catfolk legal for PFS? Boon? Is it one now legal for Season 6?

I just saw this post. I will join in. However, I will be at GenCon starting tomorrow and getting back Sunday/Monday. Will that be a problem?
EDIT: Also, if it's not too late, I'd like to use the Prestige Points from my first mission to pick up a Wand of CLW.
EDIT: I'm really reluctant to write my first post until I know if GenCon will be an issue. I should be able to write it from the road tomorrow once I see.
Sorry for dropping off a bit. My family likes to share. Especially germs. But I'll update today later on.
And just to keep everyone informed, we just finished one of four or five encounters. I'll probably drop the optional fight in the interest of time, but we are realistically about 3 weeks from finishing. This coincides with my recruitment estimate of 4-6 weeks total.
If we as a group can find a way to speed up the encounters, the completion-ist in me hopes we can still get that optional combat in... Just my 2 copper...
More sickness from my kids. All last evening in bed thru morning. I've got the map just about ready and will post later today. Sorry for slowing things down!

Here in a couple days I'll be on vacation for a week. I'm thinking I might still try to check in at least every other day, but if you don't hear from me for more than a day go ahead and bot me as needed.
Hello! I don't mean to be pushy, but I was just curious how close we were to the end of this scenario. I am planning on using this character for another game session (pbp) and I am hoping this will be wrapped up before that one starts.

Thanks for running the scenario! Sorry I didn't get more involved in the RP. It takes me some thinking to get into my character's head, and I think I have been in too many PbP games to manage it all. The other factor is that I prefer concision and understatement in my writing--I think it is missing a lot though. In the case of Arion, I know I don't have a very good idea of what the character is like.

I always try to give my characters some kind of strange/unique characteristic, to let them stand out from my other characters. Though not all of my characters are 'weird', I love playing those characters most.
I enjoyed the RP in the party a lot! Also yours, Arion! I hope you'll be to able to figure out how you want Arion to be as you continue to play him :)

I had fun with this one. I might not have been as involved in the RP like Arion, but my character also doesn't talk much except for when he needs to, kind of like me. I look forward to playing along with you guys in the future!

Would anyone be interested in playing Tide of Twilight?
Setting of Tide of Twilight:
Two years ago, a group of Pathfinders recovered a lorestone from the druids of the Verduran Forest. Complete mastery of the vast collective knowledge stored in the lorestone is years away, but through research into the lorestone, the Pathfinder Society recently unlocked the mystery of the Atavistic Splinter, an ancient shard of charred bark believed to have been touched by the enigmatic nature god Gozreh. The Pathfinders investigating the lorestone believe that the Atavistic Splinter has the power to transform humanoids into bestial creatures with preternatural strength, and would be a valuable resource for the Society in its upcoming exploits in the Ruby Phoenix Tournament in Goka.
Divination spells placed this relic near the remote Verduran village of Wispil. The Pathfinder Society tasked a local operative, a gnome herbalist named Falbin, with locating the Atavistic Splinter. Despite increased rumors of werewolf activity in the forest around Wispil, Falbin investigated and learned that the Atavistic Splinter is held by a cabal of sinister druids in nearby Briar Henge. Worse, these druids are using the Atavistic Splinter in a weeks-long ritual to preserve the primitive sanctity of their forest, turning any humanoids near Briar Henge into savage half-animal beasts, resulting in the increased presence of what seem to be lycanthropes in the area.
Falbin reported to the Pathfinder Society that he had discovered the location of the Atavistic Splinter and the truth behind the rumors of lycanthrope activity, but could not recover the Atavistic Splinter himself.
