Sinaryn fires, causing the fighter to twist out of the way and right into the path of Meletus' bolt! He looks shocked, as he had thus far assumed you all unable to do any damage to him :P
He responds by swinging at Gneau again, connecting...
attack, power attack: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 - 1 = 23
damage, power attack: 1d8 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7
roll to confirm: 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (11) + 4 - 1 = 14
crit damage, if needed: 1d8 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8
...and nearly scoring a massive blow.
Seidr, Gneau, and Pasha may act

Gneau activates his healing judgment, giving himself fast healing 1. Then he swings his flail again.
to hit: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 4
... and again he misses with a wild, uncoordinated attack.

Weird, that post was just devoured.
Since Gneau appears to be healing himself, Seidr moves over to help him if he should falter while she attempts to drive the swordsman from the room, or onto Suna's blade. Cause Fear DC 16

Pasha retaliates by taking a five foot step back, and then drawing out and attacking with her longspear.
Longspear: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Gneau begins to heal himself as his blows continue to be blocked by his foe. Seidr tries a different tack...
Will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
...but is unable to drive away her target by magical means.
Pasha's foe has her pegged as a ranged threat, so is not expecting the point of the longspear that leaves a ragged wound on his thigh. His fear of Seidr fully gone from his mind now, he responds by slashing at her with his short sword...
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
confirm: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 <----Oh no! 1/8000 chance to get three consecutive 20s
crit damage (if needed): 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
...and knocks her to the ground, unconscious!
Sinaryn, Meletus, and Suna may act

Sinaryn reloads and carefully takes aim this time. "We need to put him down now!"
Pistol vs. Touch: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Damage, Up Close and Deadly: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Grit 0/0. Half Damage on Miss.

Just to confirm, is he at -4 or -8hp?
Sorry, fixed. Orange is at -8hp.

![]() |

"Agreed!" Suna steps into a flanking position and attacks with her nodachi.
attack, flanking: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 2 = 25
damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
roll to confirm, flanking: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 2 = 24
damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

![]() |

@Sinaryn: Sorry, I applied it earlier, but I forgot to apply it on the last two. Green should have 3 more damage coming into this round.
Sinaryn steadies her aim and fires, this time connecting squarely with the fighter. Suna then finishes him off with a mighty blow from her nodachi, sending him spinning to the floor, unmoving. The 3 points of missing damage would not have been enough to drop him before Suna's turn.
Meletus may act. With the green enemy down, Seidr and Gneau may now act as well.

![]() |

Hearing the commotion around Pasha's location, Meletus hurries over. "You've got this one taken care of, I'll see if she needs help!" She calls to the rest of her team.
Double move.

![]() |

Seidr begins rushing over to the rest of the fight. Double Move
You may as well surrender. You will be granted mercy.

![]() |

Gneau lets others finish the fight and starts tying up green and purple.
he heals a point of damage...
"I'll be right there, if that last one's still up!"

![]() |

"Take a good look at your friend here" the orange foe says, gesturing to Pasha's unconscious form. "You're next!"
He advances and swings his short sword at Meletus, striking true.
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 Oh man, this dice roller does not like you guys.
damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Party is up

![]() |

Suna rushes toward the last Aspis agent. Double move.

![]() |

"S%*+, he must have gotten a lucky shot on Pasha." Sinaryn spits angrily but there is concern in her eyes as she dashes to flank the last agent. Double Move

Meletus gasps at the pain, but steps back, reloads, looks for a chink in the man's armor, and fires. "You weren't so cocky a few seconds ago. If I remember correctly, you were screaming like an infant!"
Crossbow, Bless, PBS vs. Touch: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Confirmation: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Damage, PBS: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Extra Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Using a grit point to target touch AC. Should get that back after this shot, I hope.

![]() |

You certainly do! Two of them, in fact, though it doesn't matter much now.
Meletus steps back, out of range of the man's sword. Taking careful aim she fires. The man begins to speak, then stops, a puzzled look on his face as he notices the bolt lodged in his chest. He stumbles and falls, unmoving. The only sound that remains is the snoring of the dog penned in down on the loading dock.
Out of combat! I'll assume one of you divine casters use some healing magic to get Pasha upright again.
--------------
A little while after midnight, Delroya and her allies arrive to move the shipment out of the warehouse. She thanks you for your help, and promises to be in touch with the society, indicating that she sees a future for herself working with the society. She sends some of the supplies along to the Society in thanks, as well.
When you get back to Absolom, Ambrus Valsin congratulates you on a job well done, and tells you that, thanks to your discretion, Lord Avid has been speaking highly of the Society among the nobility of the Isle of Kortos.
That's it. Thanks for playing everyone. I'll have chronicle sheets up this afternoon, I hope.

thanks for the game, Dennis, and all of you... had a blast, and just in time I can run this character at the con!

![]() |

Thank you GM Dennis for running an excellent campaign with lovely pacing. Thanks to everyone else for being an amazing party that worked really well together. This is probably one of my favorite characters now just from the experience.

![]() |

Meletus smiles throughout the commendations and thank-you's, warmly congratulating her allies as well. "All in a day's work, I suppose. I hope to see you again soon, on mission or otherwise."
Thank you for running, GM, the pace and speed were great!

![]() |

Thank you for the game! LOL, sorry to go running straight into a wall there at the end. XD;

![]() |

Not your fault I rolled three straight nat 20s.
