Kn(History): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Kn(Nobility): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
While Hagnar and Percy are discussing the history and origins of some of these artifacts, they are not really surprised to see two lightning creatures charging them!!

DM Kludde |

.. Shen-Shu. This is a treasure horde lost to the Way of the Kirin since the fall of Imperial Lung Wa.
Mood spoiler indeed. Lirianne's shot enters a vortex of lightning, and she can just barely make out drops of lead dripping to the floor.
The two lightning dragons immediately move for Ceobryrn, whomping down on the warrior holding the crown. (10ft reach by-the-by)
Slam, Ceobryrn: 1d20 + 15 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 15 + 3 = 341d8 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 5 + (6) = 17 6 electricity
Slam, Ceobryrn: 1d20 + 15 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 15 + 3 = 331d8 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 5 + (6) = 13 6 electricity

Ceobryrn having taken quit a shock, is decides it's time to leave.
The ranger still under the effects of a longstrider spell, opts to withdraws from combat "We have what we need let's Withdraw and close the doors behind us!"
full round action: withdraw moving south {see black path on map.}, around red Kirin which will get an attack of opportunity on Ceobryrn.

Whomp!: 1d20 + 15 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 15 + 3 = 261d8 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 5 + (6) = 13
Ceobryrn carefully runs past the lightning elemental, catching one big blow from the thing, but otherwise manages to get out unharmed. He even creates the opportunity for Lirianne to do the same...

Lirianne follows Ceobryrn, while Percy and Hagnar close the door behind them.
You can close the door, but there is no locking mechanism that is in any working shape - hence the barricade

![]() |

Ceobryrn helps barricade the door, "If the doors don't hold then go up the stairs and through the trap door. I seem to recall a stone lid on it. Also, the stairs are narrow so they would have a hard time following much less fighting there."

DM Kludde |

Ceobryrn start moving blocks of rubble in what must be a recreation of an event that happened earlier.
Anybody helping?

DM Kludde |

With a concerted effort, and Hagnar's augmented strength, the pathfinders manage to re-barricade the door.
Threat over!
Escaping from the Sunken Valley is simpler than entering it—especially once the boggards discover that Lord Rybos is dead and begin to fight among themselves—and the adventurers set out on their long journey back to Kwanlai.
Amari Li and Shiyo are excited at the return of the exploration group. You have acted most honourably Shiyo says, placing any relics carefully in silver-lined boxed. You have earned the thanks and gratitude of the Way of the Kirin. I bow my head in the presence of such heroes. Shiyo says, as he takes a deep bow.
Congratulations! I'll just go straight to reporting, expect to see chronicles later today...

Percy breathes a sigh of relief at the end of the conflict.
"Once again, our keen intellects allow us to prevail!"
After securing the route home, Percy makes furious amounts of notes on the journey.
He warmly hints about the Way of the Kirin that he hopes 'future opportunities' may arise bringing honour to all...

Hagnar Grimstone |

Hagnar makes sure to thank King on the way out, showing him that the group has only taken what they said they would and reassuring him that the treasures would be cared for by the Society. On the trip back he compares notes with Percy, having found a kindred spirit who loves the search for knowledge!
Thanks DMK - lovin' this opportunity!!

Ceobryrn nods in agreement "I'll take surviving, by keen intellect or fleet of foot. Still fleeing feels like cheating the Kirin, but then I don't feel the need to go back and fight them."
Great game DMK!
