GM, that natural 20 hits me.

DM Kludde |

Ketill strikes out with an electrical blade, and nearly ends up frying herself through the water. She feels the electricity tingle as it courses through the crab, but fortunately the crab is the only victim. It immediately disappears into nothingness after the hit.
The water man casts a spell and rains down a glittery mass of particles on the adventurers

Vayu levels his pistol in the direction that he last saw the spell caster, but order than the glare he draws from Kellan for firing two pistols next to her ear, his shots have no effect.

Ketill laughs out loud "He is only human Kellan, you can't hold him to our standards"

![]() |

With the Dragon Style I can ignore difficult terrain while charging.
And I now see I forgot to add 2 to my previous attack roll... That'd make for a total of 16.

"Maybe when you come from darkness, tiefling, it's no big deal. For those of use born in the light, it's shocking." Redke says, reverting to his prior attitude from the surprise of being blinded.

DM Kludde |

Ilya charges in and punches the undine in the face. Zen'yr fires her crossbow, and shoot her bolt in the shoulder of the water creature. Redke flails wildly and draws a dagger, while Ketill lands an arrow in the summoner as well.

Kellan will then pointedly step forward and press her blade right up to the laughing spellcaster's throat. "If he laughs himself right onto my blade, I can't be blamed, correct?"
Talon laughs slightly manaically in her head, eliciting a "shhh." from Kellan.

DM Kludde |

Which route do you want to take?

![]() |

"Redke, when your vision's back, could you check the enemy's gear? There may be useful items mixed in."
Ilya heads back to the first passage in the hallway. "Let's start at the front?"

DM Kludde |

From the archway leading to the south, Ilya sees a medium-sized room. The silty water in this flooded room reeks of shellfish. Bones and other refuse are piled up in the southwest corner. Hundreds of toad-sized crabs clamber about the heap, skittering over top of each other.

![]() |

Ilya moves into the room and examines both the pile in the corner and the room itself.

Redke waits a few minutes, blinks his eyes a few times and shouts, "I CAN SEE!!!"

"Hmm... I see a few pieces of paper with weird squiggly writing on it... and there's a bottle in here... I looks like it's filled with some liquid... Looks entirely useless to me."
Silly Ilya, Redke doesn't do spells, so how can he tell what scrolls and potions are?? :D

![]() |

I admit I barely know the kinetecist class and figured he'd know 'cause he does stuff that looks like magic xD
"Ah okay, then it probably is," Ilya replies to Redke.

and she rifles through the journal as well.

![]() |

Redke turns a bright shade of red after Kellan bumps him and mumbles as he makes his way though the water towards Ilya.
Think of Kineticists (in their current form) as a turret. I'm great at standing around in one place and blasting... but that's about it... with some helpful talents :D

DM Kludde |

The journal contains a detailed account of the summoner's life, and how he got to live to research on this level. He describes two siblings, also summoners, and an 'easy place' filled with water. From his description, it seems as though this level is connected to the plane of water by a network of portals, some flooding in water, some draining it out again.
Ilya moves into the room, but as soon as she steps in she disturbs the crabs, which form into a mass of crawling crustaceans.
