After she's just turned the boat around Miyako snaps out of her frightened state. She gasps, putting her hand in front of her mouth as she does. "I shouldn't be here!"
Miyako picks her rapier up and moves back onto the docks. "I'm back back! Give me a moment!"

The adventurers dash for the last man standing, and it is a stab by Anail that brings him to the ground.
Combat over
The walls of the room barely keep out the elements yet somehow retain the smell of musk and sweat. A fireplace along the northern wall keeps some of the damp chill at bay, though vines riddle the mantel stones in a years-long endeavor to pry apart the structure. A table occupies the center of the room, its surface in need of a good cleaning and polish.
The door in the back leads to a stretch of hall that is bare except for remains of moldering carpet along the baseboards. The door to area to the north has been removed from its hinges and currently leans against a wall.
By removing the door to this small room and widening the opening, someone has created a crude arch that frames a small shrine (C6). Cobalt light spills from a dark blue glass lantern that hangs above a crude altar improvised from domestic furnishings. Candles on the altar flank a pewter mug and a bottle of rum, and behind the altar stands the wooden female figurehead of a ship. A black tricorn perched on her head at an angle partially shields her face from the lantern’s light.
To the east of the hallway a door opens to a large room. A low fire and the smell of simmering stew pushes back the pervading scent of must in this room, though it is otherwise in as poor shape as the rest of the house. Beyond the hearth and food preparation area, the room is devoid of other furnishings besides cots and a few shared footlockers, giving it a crude barracks air. The double doors to the east open onto the boardwalk, and the north door once opened to a since-collapsed wing of the building. A door leads to a small pantry with stale and spoiled food wares.
The final room, the one on the northwest side, is decorated with wall hangings, paintings, and rugs futilely endeavour to cover up the room’s mildewed surfaces, making it resemble a plague victim slathered with makeup for a funeral. A large bed in good condition sits in the room’s northwest corner, and a writing desk, chair, and small bookcase of damp wood round out the furnishings. The room is heavy with the smell of incense, which masks the omnipresent dank odor.
The logbook of the leader, Deremin, is lying in clear sight on his writing desk. It contains a detailed but somewhat choppy account of his career in piracy, and the past several months’ entries show that he switched his strategy from opportunistically targeting vessels at random, to exclusively targeting Pathfinder shipments due to the instruction of one 'Helkit Silverbane'. Two entries stand out in particular (See handouts).
Helkit is one of the 'bloodied' of Tymon, and an elite gladiator.
In a back room to the leader's quarters is a storage area, containing several unopened crates marked with the glyph of the open road.

Brewslee stands up from the broken table as his body has now returned to normal. Grabbing a wand from his pack he begins to poke it into his wounds.

"Find her," Miyako corrects Anáil while reading through the leader's logbook. "Helkit Silverbane is a she."
Miyako stares as Brewslee pokes his own wounds while trying to make his wand work. "I could help with that next time, if you want?"

"So, this is not their true hideout? Or did we catch them without their leader?" Ackuda asks. "The end of this snake does not end with this.." he says, gesturing to the dingy surroundings, as he fingers a pearl from one of his pouches.

Starting from the leader, Dhastrach begins to make sure as many enemies stay alive to be questioned. He'll use his magic to stabilize them first, giving them time to search the place before reviving any of them.

The dwarf becomes quickly frustrated with Brewslee's attempts to use the wand and instead snatches it from his hands, and begins using it on the drunk brute with full success rate. Dhastrach doesn't say anything, but lets out grunts of frustration. (No mechanical difference then, same HP healed.)
"Thiss place iss Helkit's lackeyss' hideout, some uselesss common thievess worrshipping the errratic Pirate Queen, Besmara. We need to rreturrn to Tymon and confrront thiss dubiouss figurre."
Dhastrach then proceeds to investigate the unopened supplies, carefully opening them (he does have a crowbar) and checking the inventory. Take 20 perception, total 23. Alternatively he'll aid. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Not.

"You mean like the Aspis?" Miyako asks Dhastrach. "I've had experiences with some of their agents. Some of them were stalking my last party, and then they were begging us to save them from weird monkeys."
Miyako helps Dhastrach check the inventory. "I wonder if these crates contain socks or leprechauns," she says with an overly serious voice.

Dhastrach then eyes at the fallen foes, and starts browsing through their equipment. Maybe they have something of worth.
