Well, Abelia can cast Countersong or do a general Bardic Performance, but she wasn't really built around being able to do that kind of stuff. She also wasn't necessarily built to do front line combat, but hey, that's fine.
Also, even if I wanted to try pulling off some sort of performance, I'm afraid it's a little too late xD If I wasn't useless before, I sure am now! Whoo 0 hp!

Next week I will be out of the country (holidays, yeah!) and I don't know when I will be able to get internet connection. Please, apologize me for any disturb it could cause. :-(
Two Blades in the Shadows

Not sure what I will do with Two Blades since he will be 2nd after this adventure. CORE has not been played in my area for over a year now. Any suggestions as to builds? I was thinking of taking a level in Cleric or Ranger in order to use wands.

No problem, we'll make it work. Feel free to give me some guidelines on how you want to handle the rest of combat. "Flank with Two Blades, retreat when down to X hp" type thing.
Usually my tactics are easy. First round I use my crosbow and take advance of my high initiative. On the following rounds, I change my waeapon to my shortsword and try to flank an enemy. I use acrobatics if necessary to gain flanking position.

Really depends on how much of a dip you're planning on taking and on how much magic you want access to. Going by your build, it looks like you're thinking more martial, so I would go ranger. Like you said, that would give you access to wands and full martial weapon proficiency, plus if you take another level you'd get the bonus feat for your TWF tactics. Cleric would really just give you access to the wands and a couple extra spells.

When I first made him, I had thought of dipping Cleric in order to pick up Liberation and Travel domains. The problem I find is that our area does not do Core and the last convention I attended that offered it, the tables did not make. Ranger is looking like a better option. (Of the four core characters created, one died in Emerald Spire, two have not been played, leaving Two Blades.)

I have noticed that about core. I usually have to find games on line for it. Even those are hard to find sometimes.
Thordir
|
I've been really lucky. There's a store in my area that only does core, and there's another that offers at least one core game each month. The bigger problem for me has been finding games in low tier. I've been playing my first core character for over a year now and she's only level 4. Still, I suppose I'm lucky to have that much available.

I do not believes so. I think everyone is just busy with the Game Day V thing.

Hey there, GM. So I really have enjoyed this scenario and the group we have here. I wanted to check if you were planning on running Part 2 after this as well, maybe after all the Gameday V stuff finishes up.
And to all the players, would you lovely folks be interested in sticking around for part 2 of the series if possible?
Yen Jinsa Taishin

i'm in, of course if the GM is willing to run it.

I'm gonna vote for building the fire to kill the troll. It's about time for this thing to go. Haha.

Hey folks! Just wanted to let you know I'm gonna be out of town for a few days starting tonight. It'll just be over the weekend, and things tend to slow down a bit then anyway, but just wanted to give you a heads up. I know we're nearly done here, so things should be all good, but feel free to bot me if there's a surprise combat or something. Haha

May not be able to post as much as I like this weekend coming up. My anniversary with my wife is this weekend.
| GM Lamplighter |
Folks, I have to apologize, as my handling of this game was unprofessional in the extreme. Life events have reared their ugly head, and I haven't been able to keep up with this.
Chronicles are here: LINK
Once again, I apologize for this. I hope you can find another GM to continue the series with you if that's what you choose.
All the best,
Scott

No problem, Scott! Life does have a tendency to rear up at all the wrong times, so no worries. Hope everything is alright.
Thanks again for running for us, and I hope to play with/under you again when things get sorted out.

I for one am willing to wait and play together. Life ambushes all at some point. I am happy to wait how ever long it will be. I hope we can reach a consensus as I think we all had a good time, but my character was annoying to say the least, so your experience may have been different.

Haha! I thoroughly enjoyed your very elven-centric play style. It was like Thordir had a big brother that he wanted to be like.
I would love to play with all of you folks again. If we want to keep the party together, maybe we could find a GM who'd be interested in picking us up for the rest of the series while Lamplighter deals with his life stuff?

I agree with everyone, I'd love to try and keep this group together if we could. I'd be alright waiting, but it would also be fantastic to find another GM willing to accept our whole crew~
No worries on your end, Scott, because this was an incredible campaign and I completely understand that life can blow up in your face. Speaking from experience <3
It's been wonderful to play with everyone and I hope we can get the chance to play again! (Plus, I agree with Thordir, Fethril was an awesome character!)
Thank you to you all,
Abi

I would like to propose something to you all. How about I run the next two parts for you all. So at least the players would still be together minus one of the characters.
Thordir
|
That's not a a bad idea, Yen. If you would be willing to run for the rest of us, that'd be really cool.
Would anyone have any concerns for our lack of a blaster-y arcane caster? Just wondering if we should invite someone to join up with us for the rest of the series if we go on with Yen's proposed plan.
Yen Jinsa Taishin

I could always post something on the recruitment thread, and advertise for a core arcane caster.

Are we in a hurry? That is to say, are we starting immediately with Yen taking the reigns or is that the back up plan if Scott does not continue? I am fine either way, just making certain we are all going the same direction.
Yen Jinsa Taishin

Just a suggestion at this point. I am going to be busy until after Game Day comes to a close, so it would not be anytime soon. If Scott wants to keep running, I am perfectly fine with that.

I'm also okay with either, as taking a break wouldn't be too bad right now because of my classload, but I'd still be game to start up again right away. It's up to Jinsa and what he was thinking, as well as if we want to wait for a caster.
