As well as mines. Also, Pierre can channel to heal, if needed ^^
Pierre sighs as he sees the monster going down. "What's next? Shall we rest, folks?"
Kor'sarro Khan
|
With the creature down and the sound of angry ppl approaching them he shakes his head at Pierre. "I doubt we have time for that, better to get this relic out of the ground and get the hell out of here, maybe use the scrolls offered from Rocky?" And with that said he started to assist the others in getting the item out as soon as possible

The group digs down through the ice. After a few minutes digging you uncover the capstone with a spiral of runes. You would guess that whatever you want is hidden beneath that.
Rocky the Oread
|
Just realized there was only one Lesser Restos left not 5. So no spares sadly.
Rocky will put away his tool and check the capstone for traps.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
"Looks clear here. Might be traps later on though."
GM Aerondor

Rocky looks much better after the scroll is used on him. He spots no traps.
Pitbull thinks she may have seen something gemlike in the Remorhaz's stomach, now she has had a moment to recover.
On the nearby hills the Taer continue to beat their drums.

Turning his head to listen to the drums he sighs for a moment before turning to his companions. "We need to hurry, not much time left... Leg it or we are going to be run over by barbarians that want our heads..."
Pitbull
|
"Say some prayers or something for the dead and crack the capstone, I'm just grabbing something I think I saw"
Pitbull goes to recover whatever it was...
GM Aerondor

Rocky feels a sudden rush of unwellness.
Fort save please DC 16
The stone seals a small chamber filled with a bed of charcoal. Atop the charcoal sits a rolled up leather blanket tied closed with knotted silk rope. The leather blanket is lined with red and orange silks that bind together a collection of bones, intricately scrimshawed with fine calligraphy and rubbed with gold leaf, to make the runes stand out.
Rogar Valertis Alastoris
|
Rogar stands by the others weapon in hand and ready.
I think Rogar is still fatigued though
GM Aerondor
|
Rocky is the only one not fatigued
Rocky is indeed cursed. He feels the weight of years come upon him. A hot breaze as if from a desert blows in his face, and the scent of the long dead wafts up his nose.
But rocky is made of stern stuff. Rock even. Rock with veins of iron, hardened by his years of studying the marital arts.
The curse finds no where to take hold on his form and vanishes, off into the winds, who knows where to land.
And as Rocky is immune to disease, no Mummy Rot for him.
In the distance you see several more of the white ape-men starting to run towards your group. Time to either exit stage left, or fight.

Pitbull finishes fishing for whatever it was in the Remorhaz's guts.
"Time to go, no need to slaughter these smelly beasts - we have what we came for"
GM Aerondor
|
Pitbull extracts an odd prism from the beasts guts and the team high-tails it for the way out.
Dozens of shaggy beastmen howl from the fog-enshrouded precipices, their chants seemingly silenced by the death of monstrous worm-creature. Then slowly, the drums start beating. The tempo rises furiously, followed by an enraged chorus of violent, howling screams.
A volley of spears is thrown at you as you depart.

The Taer look to follow you, but screams of rage and horror greet the discovery of the dead Remorhaz. You can't help but think you have not seen the last of them.
Going down without sleds is tough work.
And helpfully not handled by the scenario
Working your way out of the Maw, thought The Eye and down to the Wings, you hear the Taer cries falling slowly behind.
Probably time for Rocky to make another Fort save against the altitude. Let me know any healing or other plans you have at this stage.

Seeing the sled being this close he moves forward and takes a swing at the driver of the sled.
I am taking that the sled is just a 5" long creature, and not 10". So a 10" step forward for the attack, if I can take a swing from 5" I will do that and then make 2 attacks

Hakime drops two shots into the musher on the red sled and he falls. The sled, out of control, continues on at its hectic pace.
Rocky charges the purple sled, knocking the driver out of it and onto the snow.
Rogar fires, but this time misses.
Asbo and Pitbull double team the driver of the blue sled.
Kor then takes out the passenger.
The purple sled passenger strikes at Pitbull as the shed swoops past. Realising the driver is down he steps clear of the impending crash.
