Aiden re-crates the dog and goes to help them moves the boxes. "I'll use some of that poison later. Anyone else want some?"

Let's block all the entrances except the lower loading dock one. Then maybe get Huck a sniper's nest?

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

It's easier moving the boxes and greasing the gears when most of you pitch in and help. So I assume most of you do.

The entrances are blocked (although there's really only time to move a single crate in front of each of the doors. But they're heavy crates, so it will probably be sufficient.

With that, all of the entrances are blocked, except for the lower loading dock one ...
That's the one Aiden asked for. Is that okay with everyone?

Wisdom check, DC 12, take 10 okay:

... and the skylight. That could be used as an entrance...

With the crates moved and the dog secured, Huckleberry finds a nice perch above some crates.
Any other preparations?

Quick retcon, that I neglected to add earlier...

As Delroya departs she hands you another parchment. "Perhaps you'll find this useful. Our activities here aren't entirely legal. This may help."

The Parchment:

It is decreed by the Scion Lord Avid of House Arnsen, Teriarch of Diobel, that the actions of Magali Delroya on this day, the 28th of the month of Neth, of the year 4715 Absalom Reckoning, are aligned with the goals and mandates of House Arnsen, and that no lower power shall have jurisdiction over Delroya or those in her company.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

Sounds like preparations are nearly finished. I'll move ahead to the next scene this afternoon/evening.

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

Aiden enlists some help moving boxes nuder the skylight, then climbs up and nails it shut.

Lem hides near the (now blocked) main entrance with his smokestick after scattering caltrops by the main entrance.

You've blocked off all the entrances except the southern loading docks...

Thrandomir and Segray haven't moved or described their position (that I recall), so I'm leaving them in the same place ...

Evening comes, and you hear the main doors rattle as someone tries to open them. There is a bit of cursing. A moment later, those with good hearing hear the same repeated outside the guard room.

After a predictable delay, you see four figures enter from the south. Two are unarmored, but look tough, and mostly unarmed save for a single kama within easy reach. The third wears scale mail and carries a heavy wooden shield under dark robes. The last figure hides scaly skin and blue claws under a dark hood.

The clawed figure steps forward when they see Aiden. "Who are you, and why have you come to our warehouse. This are is property of the Kortos Consortium."

Trouble in Tamran | Sky Key Solution | Between the Lines

Between Aiden and Huckleberry, there is very little of the poor mercenary left.

Out of combat.

Should you search the bodies of the fallen and captured Aspis members, you would find the sorts of sundries you'd expect from low-level mercenaries: several potions of cure light wounds (5), two tanglefoot bags, 3 smoke sticks, 5 daggers, a thunderstone. Your attack overwhelmed them before they could use any of these items.

You stand guard further into the night. All is quiet.

In the very early hours, Delroya returns with a few well-built stevedores. They load several crates onto wagons, and hurry off into the night. "These few items need to be destroyed before the Aspis Consortium can turn them to their evil ends," she explains. "Thank you for buying me enough time to get this transport arranged. The worst of these crates will be destroyed. You have my word on that. A few may find their way to the Pathfinder Society as thanks for your assistance."

Delroya eyes the warehouse. "Huh. You managed not to burn the place down. Perhaps the Pathfinders' reputation for wanton destruction is overstated. Thanks for not making life more difficult here. Kortos still has a strong hold in this city, and we don't want to be on their bad side."

She gestures at the wounded Aspis members. "As for this lot, it looks like we might be able to salvage one or two of them. Or let them die. Your choice—you decide what to do with them. I can have them delivered on charges to Lord Arvis, or I can simply have them handed to the Kortos Consortium, where they'll either be punished or bartered for, depending on how much they're worth. Either way, it will be a blow to the Aspis Consortium."

"Did you need to use the letter from Lord Arvis? No? ... Ah, I neglected to give it to you ... Sorry. Well, good job not needing it, I say."

"Do you have any final questions before we part?"

When you later return from Kortos, Ambrus Valsin personally congratulates you on the successful mission, stating that you've dealt a major blow to the Aspis Consortium’s operations on the Isle of Kortos, and prevented a great deal of suffering from spreading across the Inner Sea region. "I've heard from several sources, including Lord Arvis, regarding your discretion. You are to be commended. Well done. I hope we see you on future adventures."

There is a bit more RP to be had, but all of the heavy lifting is done. I'll try to get chronicles to you soon, probably late tomorrow.

Lem sheathes his shortsword, a little dejectedly. Listening to Delroyas commendation, he holds up a finger. "Not questions as such, but..." he begins, waddling over to the nearest Aspis thug and giving him a sharp kick in the ribs. "There. That'll about do it."

"Thank you for your help, Delroya. I'm glad we could stop these thieves!" she says with a wink.
