"Ruprecht, and anyone else, by all means use my CLW wand to heal yourself fully."
"The only issue is I can't actually cast the spell myself."
The young warrior will try to take a position from where she can charge an enemy slipping through the doorway.

Lore pulls out her wand and touches Ruprecht with it.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
"Anyone else need a touch of healing?"

Lore, save your wand charge. Thanks, though. I missed the Channel post, so I am full up.

![]() |

ok... didn't mark a charge off the wand then....

In the lull before battle, Eadie closes her eyes and prays by rote. An observer can watch her mouth moving as she silently recites:
Abadar, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the ... best way to hide the bodies of anything I had to eliminate to safeguard my friends.
She opens her eyes.
“Lore, did you end up casting Lesser Restoration on anyone?”
“I think both Eredax and I were poisoned by the spiders.”

![]() |

"I was waiting for the venom to have it's full effect before I cast that spell, but sadly, I can only cast it on one of you. Was it just you and Eredax who were damanged by the swarm? As one of our frontline fighters, you might benefit most from the casting, but I hate leaving Eredax hurting as well. I can cast it again tomorrow of course."

![]() |

"Was it just you and Eredax who were damanged by the swarm?"
“I think so … and yeah, I know it’s a dilemma for you. Of course I’ll leave it up to your good judgement, Lore.”

"It seems Eredax is hurting the worst, so I will use my spell on him, and tomorrow Eadie, if you are still in need, I will cast it on you as well." Lore casts her Lesser Restoration spell on Eredax, calling on the power of Sarenrae to light the fires within him and restore him to full strength.
lesser restoration on Eredax: 1d4 ⇒ 3
ouch, sorry it wasn't all 4 but you'll get that last one back with a night of sleep

![]() |

Oh, thanks Eredax! I forgot all about encumbrance. I’ll just check the PRD to check I’m still at a medium load … yep, no problem.
"It seems Eredax is hurting the worst, so I will use my spell on him, and tomorrow Eadie, if you are still in need, I will cast it on you as well."

"Aye, yes cousins. Are any of ye hurt? I can cure ye with a wand if you need healin'. Otherwise here is a dagger or warhammer if you are able to help in a fight - or at least defend yerselves."
if needed, cures from wands.

Gathering up the dwarves and making your way out of the underground prison, you manage to get the injured dwarves up the ladder and into the washroom. You can hear muddled voices coming from the great room. Its hard to make out what they are saying, but it is clear that there are several voices and they are not that of the old ladies that take care of the inn!
Moving down the hallway you see what can only be the cleric, Ahendile that the dwarves spoke of. She spins around and proclaims loudly to the great room.
In the name of the most holy living god, drop your weapons! I am Holy Ahendile, ordained priest of Razmir and arbiter of your fates. Submit to my authority, and you may well earn more merciful treatment.
Moving this along...

Ruprecht nods at the woman's words. "Sorry ma'am, but I don't think that's going to happen.". He pulls his spear.
DM, how much time has passed since the last fight?

Is that really so? Tomoe looks that so called priest up and down.
If she would get the feeling this will not end well, she will cast a spell.

Enough of this innolence, you fools will pay for this with your blood. This only proves the dwarves treachery! Attack!! the cleric is obviously not in the mood for talking after all.

Ruprecht, about ten minutes have passed.

GM- I am not seeing where we are on the map. Which room number are we entering?
Grim cannot tell if he can charge or not, but if the cleric is within 20' he will move and attack.

Eadie tries to follow Grim’s example by attacking the 'cleric.' However, she mishears her dwarven friend's warcry.

potential critter?: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 1 = 12 Forgot the +2 for charge, GM. So this would be a 14 to try and confirm the crit.
if so ... dmg: 2d4 + 3 + 3 ⇒ (4, 2) + 3 + 3 = 12

Eredax blesses the party before both Grim and Eadie blast into the room like ravenous murdering Pathfinders, at least from the prospective of the Razmiri. Both fighters assault the cleric, causing huge gashes in her armor. She bleeds from several cuts, but she stays on her feet, looking for a chance to survive.
In response, the Thugs open fire on Grim- Short Bow Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 and Short Bow Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 both arrows find only the wooden walls.

Lore moves forward 20 feet, which still doesn't put her in the room, but close enough to heal Eadie... She channels positive energy for healing, excluding the enemy cleric with selective channeling, of course.

Grim- the save reduces the effect by half. So yes, 4 points of Str loss. Good thing you didn't get that '1'!
Lore's healing touch instantly heals Eadie of most of her wounds.
Ruprecht unleashes hell and one of the thugs falls to the floor a mass of blood and spilling bowels.
Tomoe waves a feather in the direction of the cleric Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18, but her mind is too strong for the Geisha's magic.
Initiative Order: Eredax, Eadie, Grim, Thugs, Cleric, Ruprecht, Lore, Tomeo
One of the Thugs also magically disappears... thanks Eadie. :)

No, thank-you, DrGabe! ;)
Eadie takes a strange, shuffling 5’ step to the north, to keep the “middle” thug off Grim’s back. She also hopes the thug will offer Grim and herself soft cover from the enemy archer.
**Happy Feet** “Hello, Dumpling. I eat you with ketchup.”

Grim swings, the cleric tries to duck but just isn't fast enough to avoid the tiring dwarf. His axe cuts deep into her shoulder. Blood is starting to pour faster, but the cleric continues to fight on.
Eadie's attack nearly cuts the thug down where he stands, but with resolve not common in thugs he stays on his feet.
Eredax.

![]() |

Focusing his attention and power on the cleric ahead of them, Eredax conjures a bad luck compulsion, trying to land it on their adversary.
Casting Ill Omen on the Cleric - Saving Throw: None MUAH! But... "A target who can speak and has at least one free hand and who is aware of the spell and its effects (such as from a Spellcraft check to identify the spell as it is cast) can negate one reroll by spending a move action to utter a brief prayer or good luck charm to appease the spirits of ill fortune".

*Puzzled* “You started it, Grim.”

Eredax's spell effects the Cleric.
The Cleric yells for her Thugs to cover her. They are forever faithful to her and actually comply with her orders.
She withdrawals- Grim in her second move, you get an AoO. If you don't kill her she'll get out the door and withdraw towards the northern section of the courtyard.
One thug tires to take out Eadie- 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
The other thug fired an arrow at Ruprecht- 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
But both attacks miss...
PC's/ turn. Grim gets an AoO first then his normal turn.

If Grim does not hit and drop the fleeing cleric, he will cast expeditious retreat (move @ 50' rnd) and chase the cleric out the door.

An error occured. Hideous laughter is actually DC 20 because of the peacemaker feat, but i forgot that :( Either retcon that or just take my new move now. Tomoe moves out of the house just casts another hideous laughter (DC20) on the cleric.
Don´t let her get away!

Totally fine with me :D She´ll be lying on the floor for the next three rounds and drop what was in hands. But she got a new save every round sadly^^ Anyway time to get that rope out and tie her up hopefully.
