Right, how exactly did I stumble on a bunch of giant Jellyfish at the alehouse??!?! And right when I haven't got my weapons with me!

I've got no way of getting close to Combat 16, never mind 20. And Dexterity 10/14 isn't any better. So I'll just bury my Eagle Knight Dress Uniform for the damage. I'll then recharge my Paladin's Helm to try and get some weapons.

Just a note about your check, I think it's actually 1d10 + 1d6 + 1. The harpoon is Dex/Ranged + 1d6 + 1. You don't get your Melee +2 bonus. Doesn't matter with the reroll as you get 13 and defeat the Buccaneer anyways.

Just a note that Heartbreak Hinsin gives us a +2 against Henchmen. Didn't make a difference for Jirelle except that her 1d10+3+1d6 was right the first time. :)

I asked over on the forums, but I see your point that you were trying to defeat the barrier.


I asked and Dave Riley answered that it isn't a Check to Defeat, which is the check on the card itself. So keep your Masterwork Tools and assume you used my Blessing of Sarenrae which would have made your check be 3d6 + 3.

I don't have anything in my discards for the ruffian or alehiuse.
I'm mobile so can't reset my hand but i am done.


Also, augury places all cards of the chosen type on top or bottom together. Scry lets you split them, but i don't have scry yet.
