Running the second adventure of the first scenario for PACG Season of the Shackles.
I'll be running the game and playing Koren again.
He's got Detect Evil instead of Sanctuary and the Paladin's Helm instead of the regular Helm.
Silly Question:
All those Summoned sharks don't get displayed right?
Deck:

Chain Mail, Chain Mail
Staff of Minor-Healing*, Crowbar, Signal Whistle

If I understand your question, they come, you do something with them, and then they go away.
jduteau wrote: DURING THIS SCENARIO:
When you defeat the henchman Hammerhead Shark from a location deck, display it next to this scenario. For each such henchman displayed, the difficulty to defeat the villain Adaro Barbarian is increased by 2.
So we're not getting +4 villain difficulty for every closed location... Cool.
Ah yes. Only the shark in the location itself is displayed. The summoned ones don't get displayed.

So did we also get a Skill feat?

Non-Tier.
I say Non since we're playing the scenarios in order.
We have quorum.
If Ezren rolls higher than me, I'll be able to start us tonight.
I have the locations all built and I have it on my iPad, so I'll be able to post more frequently since I won't need the physical box near me.
For those that may not know about it, I use CardWarden on my iPad to play my solo games. I had to scan all of the cards, but it does make it convenient. :)
Card Warden: How much space does the PACG scans take up? I have CW and just the idea of scanning hundreds of high res pictures makes my iPad spark and fizzle...
I have 2.4GB of space for CW. That is 6 sets of PACG, LOTR-LCG, Legendary, and two other card games. I scan the cards in at 300dpi.
6 Sets of PACG? Duplicates?
jduteau wrote: I scan the cards in at 300dpi. Time to make a scanning jig...
Yes. I have 2 RotR - one for my 4-char play through and one for my solo Amiri play through. 2 S&S - one for my 4-char play through and one I just copied over for this. And 2 WotR - again a 4-char play and a solo Raz play.
So, I assume the 300-dpi comes from a flat-bed scanner? Have you ever used the iPad camera to capture cards? I don't have access to a scanner at the moment...
I have all the sets and an iPad. But I am not scanning all those cards!!!!!!!!!!
I have a flat-bed scanner. the iPad camera doesn't work very well. I have one card that I did via the camera but it doesn't look very good.
re: scanning - it is actually less than you think. You only have to scan one of each card so cards that don't repeat. I get into a rhythm when I'm doing it.
CardWarden does allow a backup and a restore, so there might be a way to share what I've done. But I suspect that goes against copyright of something somewhere. :(

The lack of scanner seems to be my biggest hurdle. I might try some test runs to see if my iPad's camera also sucks, but otherwise I'd still want to get my copy scanned and do the whole thing on the level.

Not terribly. For example if I took a photo of my sets to assure you I already had paid for all that IP, then it's cool
Could be your neighbor's or a store loaner copy...
Trust isn't a part of the equation, unfortunately. Unless one did the scanning themselves (for private use) then any other case would be a breach.
I'm not sure that's true. By showing that I own the IP any fraudulent activity beyond that would become my problem.
If you share in good faith you are not a copyright violator.
However Cosined, this is the states and it is an inherently litigious society :)
Sidebar I'm heading to OKC for a wedding later today. I believe I won't be online again until tomorrow :/
I forgot to check the discussion thread at all, guys. Have you done pbf here a lot before? These games are my first. I've played many BSG games on BGG, and all discussion there is in a single thread.
These are my first. This is obviously geared towards RPG play where the discussion is separated from the actual roleplaying. Not needed so much for the card game.
I'll be unavailable from 5-10 tonight, but I'll check in when I get home.
jduteau, unless something strange happens on Ezren's turn, I intend to explore my location (#3) after I deal with the shark.
Thanks!
BGG CON starts tonight My attendance will be limited up until Sunday Sorry everyone !

Have fun!
Nothing strange happened on my turn, so explore away!
Here is the thread for the next scenario. I have really enjoyed playing so hope that we all continue.
