I've never killed a PC before, and I hope this won't be the first. We'll see what happens. I've already refrained from doing a Coup-de-grace type action, since that's one of those things that is generally not done unless specifically called out in the tactics.

I've found a lot of people don't remember that you can use acrobatics to move while avoiding an AoO while prone. You can only go 5 ft, and it's a more difficult check, but you can do it.

They hadn't yet.

Daeron, is the pfs# of 754-45 correct?

Ietsuna Amiri |

Yeah, if I have to I can.
I am going to run my math here so you can see how I intend to do the recovery/resurrection, if it is necessary.
Mardak (the character who is getting credit) has 8pp and 148 gp. He will sell his cloak of resistance +1, his masterwork agile breastplate and his masterwork greatsword to give a gp total of 1098 gp.
Recovery costs 5pp leaving him with 3pp.
He will kick 1,000 gp in to the resurrection (total cost 5,450gp) and Amiri's gear can be sold for 3,000gp (page 7 of season 9 RPG guild guide) so that leaves 1450 to pay. PP can be spent at a rate of 1pp=375gp leaving 325 gp owing. I intend to use money from the chronicle to pay that remaining 325 gp.

![]() |

I'll need to double check that PP can be spent that way to replace gold, give me a sec.

![]() |

Hmm. I don't see an indication to that effect. The 2PP = 750gp is for purchase of a single item, not a general gold conversion rate. I do see that you can pay 8PP and 2450 gp for a raise.
Maybe there's something I've missed?

![]() |

They are a little different in SFS.
But in season 9 of PFS this came to us too. On page 7 of the guide it spells it out.
The Roleplaying Guild character can spend Prestige Points to help offset the gold cost of raising a pregenerated character from the dead. She may pay up to half of the cost of raise dead, resurrection, or true resurrection with Prestige Points, at a rate of 1 PP = 375 gold pieces.

![]() |

Ah, thank you. I couldn't find that. The guide has stuff scattered all throughout it, so it's a bit confusing.

![]() |

There is a whole thread of changes to the layout for PFSv2. Chime in with your thoughts there as well.

This dragon was a tough one. It's a CR 6, and with a CR 3 ally, the overall encounter was a CR 7. The team was about APL 3.7, so this was actually just slightly above an Epic-level encounter for you.
As none of your characters are actually dead, I'm considering that this dragon may end up keeping you alive for its own purposes, at least for a time. Do you all have enough PP to pay for a body recovery (5 PP)?

![]() |

I hope that ending wasn't too grim for you all. I've seen a lot of people suggest that "Body recovery" also can be applied to a rescue if it's plausible for a character to be captured instead of killed.
Anyway, here's the chronicles. Let me know if you have any trouble accessing them or if I've made any mistakes.

![]() |

I can think of at least one scenario where it is specifically called out that you can use the body recovery to get out of jail, but it is effective character death if you end up in jail and don't have the PP. so good call.

![]() |

Prisim is out of tier. I know she'll be a bit short of gold, but it should probably be slightly higher than the low tier characters.
Also I'd like to use my Prized Find boon to get my second PP for the mission please.

Ietsuna Amiri |

Thanks very much all. Had a great time playing and I hope to play with you all again.

Looks good. Thank you for running it as a Core game. We had started running Core games when it first was an option but they stopped after a month or so. Of the 4 Core characters I have, one died in his first adventure (Emerald Spire, Arrow crit) one is still a blob, one with an adventure and Two Blades just hitting 4th.

![]() |

Sorry about that, Prisim. It should be updated now.
Does that boon affect everyone or just yourself?

![]() |

It is from the Wounded Wisp.
Prized Find: You were instrumental in uncovering a cache of lost records that the Pathinder Society
can use to explore hitherto unknown sites. If you would fail to earn a Prestige Point at the end of an
adventure due to failing a success condition, you may cross this boon of your Chronicle sheet to remind
your superiors of your past breakthroughs and earn the 1 Prestige Point as if you had successfully
fulilled the condition. You may only use this boon if you would also gain at least 1 XP for completing the
adventure (0.5 XP if you use the slow track advancement option).
I suspect it is intended as a personal only boon.
And no worries about the OOT. I often end up forgetting it myself.
Thanks for the game. ToRR certainly lived up to it's reputation this time. I've come close to a party wipe out a couple of times in the past. But in all honestly, I think we were quite a way off taking down that dragon.

![]() |

I just realized I forgot to check the Core Campaign box on the chronicles. I've updated them all again (Dochub which I use makes it really easy to update files on Google Drive.)

![]() |

I'll keep this active for a couple more days to make sure everyone has everything they need, then close it down.

Ietsuna Amiri |

Grabbed my chronicle. Thanks everyone for playing with me and special thanks to Paladin of Baha-who for GMing.
