DISCUSSION THREAD
I went out drinking after work so I'm not in a super great mindset to be able to post right now, but I can get one up in the morning.
What timezones are you guys in, and what time of day do you usually post? just for appropriate planning purposes.
I am in EST as well, Montreal for me.
I am a full time University student and part time worker at a Gaming Hobby Store. I never expect an amount of posts. 1/24 hours has always been fine with me.
Take it relaxed when you need to. We're having fun and we're just three, meaning there's no big rush.

And as far as posting, I'm a web developer (and a huge nerd), so it's pretty rare for me to be away from a computer.
I got into it kind of accidentally, and got super lucky with finding out that I actually love it.
Very cool that you're thinking of those two directions. I loved taking Psych in college (and also found that I didn't have much of a mind for business, hah.) What about you, NorthwestGM? What are you studying?

On another note, whenever you're ready to proceed at any point of the campaign, just indicate with a at the end of your posts. It stands for Moving On and it shows me that you're ready to jump forward. I'd hate to cut into inter character roleplay since that's the whole gist of the adventure.
No it's fine, there's no reason to hide anything unless I mention it. I just separate them so you have an easier time finding your section. You're free to read each others stories.
Just got back from getting some blood tests done, ended up passing out at the doctors. I'm all fine but I do need some rest. I'll update this evening.

In other news, this entire week has been a mess with the rampant storms destroying Boston. But I ought to be around more in the coming days (if it ever stops snowing).
Oh! I also haven't been doing any rolling, because I'm not sure how much we're using the Pathfinder system. Obviously let me know if you want me to roll things. I've been trying to end my posts where I think a GM decision would fit (walking up the stairs, searching for the keys, etc), but let me know if I should be going further with assuming success.

No need for rolls for now. I will indicate when you can roll one or when the real nitty gritty begins. Things like "I look around for something specific", "I research a particular towns-person" or "I attempt to make a cure for this lethal poison coursing through my veins"... :D
It's very free for all as to when to end/continue. I will always respond with leads and pushes when necessary. We're all working on a story together in a sense.

I just realized that we are proficient with simple weapons... what average person known how to fight with a quarterstaff like a pro, let alone a sickle, heavy mace, or a longspear?
Haha, I assumed we'd be using the d20 modern weapons, which are more like: brass knuckles, knife, club, crowbar.
But I could totally see you running down the street with a flail. :P
I'd assume that "simple weapons" are things like knives, baseball bats, etc.
So sorry for the delays, I had everything written up and then when I cleared my computer for space, it logged me out of all my sites. Problem is, I use a variety of temp emails and I could not as hell remember what this one was.

I just realized that next week is insane in the amount of work I need to do for university.
Everyday I have some paper or exam.
So rather than make half hearted posts, I'm going to take a breather until Friday at the latest.
I'll use this time to work something grand out.

Oddly enough, it's the week before spring break that I have the most work... and nothing after it... sigh.

Sorry for the no-show, my supposed reading week got quite hectic and now school has started again. I need to finish up a few things and then we're back.

I'm still planning on getting this back in gear, just finding it hard to jump back into it. I do confess a lack of inspiration at the moment, but I think I'll have this sorted out soon.

How would you imagine your mom reacting to all this? I can roleplay the phone conversation but I'm not sure how to play her.
