Lets wait - paralysis tends to be a temporary thing but we should monitor his health in case there are side effects

400XP for you all, I think Basil still needs to level?
Basil remains frozen for a few minutes, which underground, seems like an awfully long time. The room that Basil, Gwen and Bordan got into before the trap set off appears to be empty of foes.
Wooden tables here are stacked with vials, beakers, and other alchemical gear, although the southern one is heaped with broken vials and leans awkwardly on a hastily repaired leg. Three large cauldrons sit against the east wall, one of them upended. Its foul, rancid contents of rendered fats have spilled over the floor. To the South is a door that is borded over.
Erik Copper
Eric, hiding his disgust, does his best to learn what was being done with all this alchemical equipment.
Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
I'm not sure what the right roll is. My knowledge arcana/religion/local are all +8, and my other knowledges are +7.

Perhaps Craft(Alchemy) - which can be done untrained...?
Although untrained you can only hit DC 10... Either way, Meh. It's Alchemic/Magic/Religious depending how you want to look at it.
As a side not though, how in the world do we have an Alchemist without ranks in Craft: Alchemy?

This AP predates the release of the APG (or even the Pathfinder rules set), so 'Alchemist' wasn't a class yet.
Indeed, although alchemical things, and craft alchemy were.... Just not quite so useful.

Lets head down the tunnel, says Borden, leading the way and probing the floor as he goes with his long spear thanks to Erik's experience with traps.
Guinevere "Gwen" Duchamp
If the tunnel is wide enough that two people can stand side by side, then Gwen will walk next to Borden, eyes and ears on alert.

The tunnel goes some way, then leads to a fork. Left (North) are some steps leading up through more tunnel, right is more blank tunnel.
I've updated the Overview image. There is a room on it you shouldn't really be able to see, but hey ho.Nothing too important, just lines of sight that have gotten a bit screwey.
Which way?

Well, as a default, I would say finish one level before moving onto another... so let's go right.
It's not a staircase, just a few steps. Making the gradient of the caves easier, rather than going up or down a level. If that makes any difference ;)

Riiiiight, I think, Borden says before leading the way in that direction.

The tunnels are short, and another room appears before long, this one is smelled first, before it is seen....
This foul-smelling cavern is bordered on three sides by ten-foot-deep pits. It is from these pits that the rancid smell of excrement and decay fills the air—each pit contains a few heaps of moldy straw, a wooden trough of filthy water, a few rotting body parts, and a couple still living prisoners.
In the room ahead there is a creature, hideously deformed with a large bulbous head, probably some kind of giant, or ogre hybrid. It's seen your lights coming and appears ready to fight.
Init please!

Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8, 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18 I'll take the 18.
Basil remains oblivious, possibly still experiencing some lingering after-effects of the paralytic poison...
Rojerick Alandsson
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Trooping along in the rear, Roj keeps his eyes peeled both in front and behind him. When he arrives in the room with the prisoners, his first thought is to rush forward and help them, but he's quickly checked by the sight of the creature before him. "By the Dawn, what have you done to these prisoners!?"

"What the %$&k! I can't hit the broad side of a barn!!!" she yells, frustration and anger in her voice.

Basil strikes again at the creature, but his attack glances off it's hide.
At it moves forward, the creature bellows "“You go in pit now! Me feed you later. Maybe!" and grabs at Bordan, picking him up in a huge bear hug.

Gwen, at least you've got a greatsword. I'm stuck with a sling and no spells. Completely useless!
Eric lets out a yell of frustration, and then wriggles forward to AC43 and attempts to trip the creature.
It gets an AoO against Eric.

@Nevynxxx: I think you meant Gwen in that last post of yours ;-)
@Gwen: As per the GM's post, it is everyone's turn.
Unable to move into a position where he can take a swing, Basil simply muscles his way forward.
Double move to a flank - AE44.

I had a longspear and was attacking from range not from next to it
It took a 5ft step, enough to grab you, but not enough to invoke any AoOs...
As per discussion thread, someone please act for Roj.
