Almost in unison, Reth's blade, and Ward's war club come down upon their chosen targets, with the same devastating effect in both cases.

Two stirges lie broken on the floor, booth pouring a grey ichor onto the stone.

I guess the others didn't need to post anyway.....

Atherton looks around the room, lowering his crossbow and taking an step into the room, saying "Good work" with a slight hint of sarcasm as he gives the room a cursory glance.

With the two stirges dead, and the others well caged, the area seems safe, for now.

There is an exit to the North, which would presumably meat up with tunnels you have already been through, also the tunnel to the west you came in through. There is another exit to the east, looking though this, the walls of the next room appear to be worked stone, rather than rough, and light seems to glow further up the corridor.

As Reth searches about, he uncovers a secret door in the North East wall...

Welcome back Ath, not a lot has happened, as you can see. Hope you had a good time, where ever you were off.

With an annoyed look, "This place is riddled with secret passages. Here is another one. I suggest we check these out first as they may try again to ambush us from them." Reth will investigate the secret passage cautiously.

As Reth wanders into the tunnel he finds a miniature warren. The tunnel he starts in goes North for around 10ft, before meeting a cross tunnel that goes off to the Southwest and Northeast. The Southwest direction will most likely lead back into the room the Derro apparently used as a bed chamber. To the Northeast the tunnel forks into two, with each branch ending at another door. It wouldn't be a big stretch to say the Northernmost of these would lead back the way you came, but the last door, must lead to a completely new part of the complex.

Not the biggest image in the world, but that should give you some idea.

Reth verifies that the tunnels do indeed lead to the places they have already been and then goes to check out the door to the unexplored area.

Reth's search of the tunnels reveals nothing other then the doors. These are pretty obvious from the inside, although cunningly concealed from outside. One thing he does notice though, these tunnels have been recently used, very recently.

Whoops, nevermind. It's 6,000 xp for 4th not 5,000. Still a ways to go.
