The Earthquake rocks the building, shaking it apart. The screams of the dying echo through the city, as several adjacent buildings partially collapse as well.
The cloud then settles over the wreckage, and sinks into the cracks and crevices of the building, and the last cries cease after a few seconds.

The only thing you can smell right now is "deadly poison".
Without moving tons of rubble you will be unable to tell who, exactly, survived but it's a safe bet that none of the low level Mandrigal contacts were powerful enough to survive the CLoudkill.

Reminder of your hideout's description: It looks like a rough tavern in the common room, with a fully stocked bar and larder, and several buxom (and loose) barmaids to serve you. All of the rooms can be personalized to your tastes by using a scepter. It can redecorate both the surroundings, and the inhabitants (as Clown Shoes Korak remembers to his chagrin).
The free room (Formerly Jorriko's, and now Talryn's) currently looks like this: Krail's room becomes devoid of light and sparse of furniture. The darkness almost seems to crawl with a life of its own. A simple cot and chest spring out from the walls, and a freestanding door with all manner of locks and mechanisms appears on the other wall; a place to practice and hone his skills.

Unimportant, it is a somewhat intelligent item that obey whoever is close to it, I want to know if there is a way to change that so I become its master permanently

Not likely. Intelligent items are just that. They have their own personalities. If that item has a very "loose" personality that lets just anyone be its master, that's how it is.
