He might be away indeed. I imagine one of his standing stays quite busy. As uncouth as it is we should check the cabin as well. Anything couldve happened and Id hate to see us waiting around when the answer could lie just inside...
He trailed off as dark thoughts overtook his typical positive way of thinking.
...anyways, Ill see if the door is open. Mabe spread out and see if theres any clues to our absent host's where about's
The magus will walk back to the druid's abode and check to see if the door is open.

Cyrus Abergail |

As much as I dislike invading ones privacy in such manners, I think it might be wise to do as you suggest Koremar.
Cyrus turns away from the strange stones to follow the magus to the cabin. He almost starts to walk away before he notices that Kregimie isn't following. Instead of accompanying the others he decides that he might as well spend a moment with the huge monoliths and Kregimie.
Call if you find anything! he exclaims before addressing Kreg in a tone more appropriate for conversation Impressive, aren't they...

The door opens into a homey cabin, with a large bearskin rug covering the cabin’s floor before a stone fireplace along the far wall. A handcrafted table sits in the southwest corner next to a cabinet cluttered with empty cookware.
Sitting in a chair at a table is an older human wearing some type of splint mail and a scimitar. He looks up as you enter, Koremar, seemingly surprised.
"Eh? Who're you and what're you doing in my cabin?"

Abigail Garrett |
Abigail had been too caught up with the monoliths to notice Koremar simply entering. She moves behind quickly to join them.
"Pardon our intrusion Devarre, but we called your name... and the times demand we press you and forget for now the usuals forms of diplomacy."

Cyrus hears the faint sound of conversation coming from the log cabin and realizes that the others might have found something. He puts an gauntlet hand on Kregimies shoulder and leads the fascinated gnome away from the rocks and towards the cabin. Ace runs ahead, curious about this druid.
Come on, it sounds like they found something he blinks to Kregimie It might even be more exiting then these stones - otherwise I might show you a small trick of my own...

Cyrus Abergail |

Cyrus notices in the corner of his eye Kregimies misfortune. He quickly turns back and heads over to help him regain his feet again.
How are you doing ? Still reeling from the ale ? I cannot blame you - that was the strongest spirits I ever had ... he adds without any hint of mockery or irritation Want me to carry you back to the cabin?

"Rhoswen? Eh, who's that? I'm not that interested in fighting anyone, certainly not at night."
Something seems odd to you about the druid. He seems to be moving in a jerky manner, almost as if if were a marionette.

Abigail Garrett |
Compulsion... Interesting!
Abigail turns to face away from the druid, they speaks very softly to her companions, hoping the druid is truly hard of hearing: "He seems under a spell... I will try to dismiss it. Cover me discreetly as I do so."
She moves to the back of the room, putting distance between her and her intended target, turns around and moves her hand quickly, softly asking Erastil to free the druid of his bonds.

Cyrus, Ace and Kregimie silently watches the strange looking druid as Abigail speaks. Cyrus makes a quick and discreet prayer to Andoletta, hoping that the Clerics magic works.
@Kregimie: I moved us to the cabin, when you post again you could mention exactly how if you want, or do something else if you don't want to follow

Koremar Auvrealylth'Hel |

The magus wasnt sure how a druid of Devarre's abilities came to be under a spell of any sort and he hoped fervently that Abigail was able to counter it. He tried to keep the man focused on him instead of the priestess.
We're not looking for a fight either. We just want to talk. Have you seen anything out of the ordinary lately?

Kregimie |

@Kregimie: I moved us to the cabin, when you post again you could mention exactly how if you want, or do something else if you don't want to follow
Not a problem, thanks. Kreg will take you up on the ride though.
After Kreg gets carried back to the cabin by Cyrus, he stands there with his mouth ajar watching Abigail work her magic.

Abigail Garrett |
Hmmm... Could he be under a more potent spell? I need a prayer I haven't prepared then. But I'll wait some first. Maybe it's my paranoia playing tricks...
"Devarre, we have been attacked by spriggans, acting as vanguard for an invasion from a dark fey realm, under the control of a Queen named Rhoswen. We are looking for help in understanding and fighting this threat. Is there anything you might know?"

Abigail, you definitely think he's moving in a strange manner and there's an odd hesitation before he talks, but you still aren't sure what magic is affecting him.

Cyrus focuses his divine gift on the druid and tries to lock his gaze with him. He looks for any trace of darkness in them, determined to figure out what appears to ail this man.

You can detect the presence of evil, but it almost seems as if it's coming from inside the druid, as opposed to from the druid himself.

Abigail tries to keep a warm smile as she approaches him, hands open and palms up: "I'm sorry if I've offended you Devarre. It was not my intention."

With the sound of an elephant in a porcelain shop (and about equal grace) the armoured knight crashes thru the room and into the druid. He grasps after him with a bear-hug and tries to restrain him, before whatever malevolent spirit that controls him attempts some wicked magic.
"Sorry, this is for your own good"

Wooof!
Following Cyrus lead, Ace leaps tru the room more gracefully then his master. He quickly circles around the druid and tries to lock his fearsome jaws around the druids wrist, pulling him down towards the floor in the process.
You seems to have forgotten to roll initiative for Ace and Sacha, so I will roll for Ace atleast. If you want them to act on their masters initiative, feel free to ignore that roll =).

The druid blocks Cyrus with a flash of his curved blade, causing him to instinctively winch back a few steps and failing in his endeavour. The cut is shallow, his armour absorbing most of the force. Still, a few drops of pale red blood stains his bleak appearance. Seeing as Ace managed to get an hold on the druids arm Cyrus once again silently thanks the heavenly powers for his blessed companion.
Good! Now, get him down he shouts encouragingly to the hound as Koremar shouts his warning.
He quickly throws a glance at the wound on his arm, curiously finding that a few drops of blood appears to have frozen solid on his armour even thou he don't feel especially cold. Now look at that ! Weird.... After this brief moment of pause he turns his attention back at the druid, drawing his greatsword from its sheet, intent on giving the druid a good whacking.
Move action to draw the sword, then a standard action to smack it across the druids head (attempting to deal non-lethal damage).

Grrrrrr...!
Ace growl in suppressed by the arm of the druid which currently resides in his mouth. He rolls his eyes at his masters command - of course I know that I should get him on the ground!. He sighed. Sometimes he wondered if the air really was that thin up there where the two legers had their head, and that was why they felt compelled to state the obvious all the time.

Abigail hesitates as the wolf seems to have taken a hold of the druid. She points a finger to the druid and shouts in anger, targeting the druid's holy symbol: "Ol' Deadeye rid you of your possession!"
Cast Shatter (sunders a single solid, non-magical object; For DC 16) on its holy symbol if I see it. If not, on his scimitar.

Kregimie |

The druid casts a spell, pulling his scimitar and gestures for you to approach. "You'll pay for that, little mortals."
"Wait, is he calling me short?!" Kreg says out loud. Seeing his friend's blades slash the druid, he is confused on the task at hand. "Don't we want him to live?" he yells as he gets into position to stab at the druid with his longspear if he tries to get on his feet.

Koremar Auvrealylth'Hel |

If we can keep him alive we will Kreg but can we risk that at the perils of our own lives? Cyrus does have the right idea of it though.

Abigail's spell has no effect as she casts it on the druid's blade, but Koremar's seems to wrack him with pain, as his skin turns almost blue from the cold. 15 hp, 35 total; staggered for 1 round
As Kregimie maintains position, ready to help if needed, Devarre struggles to free himself from the hound's grasp. It appears at first as though he won't be able to break free, but as Ace tries to maneuver him for a pin, the hound loses his grip on the druid's arm. Devarre failed his CMB check to escape, but Ace then failed his to maintain the hold.
