Inactive

I'll wait for Yolanda, since if she doesn't kill the snake, I am unconscious.

Female dwarf Warpriestess 13 | HP: 146/146 | AC: 26(30) | Init: +5 | Passive Perception 13 | Speed 25 ft |

DungeonMaster

Nope, Yolanda misses, as the snake bites Elaith with a very poisonous bite leaving him unconcious.
The two orcs did take actions and the prisoners are headed back to the entrance as you freed them. They made it out of the cave safely.
One Orc hit Yolanda, the other missed her
All heroes are up again

Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster

The orcs turned on us? They hit Yolanda? I thought they were on our side.

Human Monk 4 Max HP: 27 | AC: 17 | Saves: Str: +2; Dex: +6; Con: +1; Int: 0; Wis: +5; Cha: 0 | Initiative: +4

Different Orcs; there are two that want to turn this place into a B&B. They did not betray us. There are other Orcs here who want to turn this place into a Charnel House. We're currently fighting them.

Three makes his way down the ramp again, firing his bow as he goes at the snake.

If I can act.

Elaith staggers up and shoots a firebolt into the last enemy.

Firebolt: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 4

DungeonMaster

The snake and the Orcs are all now dead, as they bring them down quickly, quick search of the bodies bring them gold, and mundane weapon, you can find just about any melee weapon you want on them.
Heroes know that if they move the bodies back to the main room and actually out of the cave, they can get a short rest in the main room, or they can press on.

Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster

Glad you decided to stay on this side of hells gate wizard. Would you like to rest a while before moving forward? We can probably stay hidden in the main room if we clean up our mess a bit.

Human Monk 4 Max HP: 27 | AC: 17 | Saves: Str: +2; Dex: +6; Con: +1; Int: 0; Wis: +5; Cha: 0 | Initiative: +4

Resting is usually called by the casters.

Inactive

I won't mind resting - one more 2nd spell slot is always useful.

"Some rest sounds good, especially after this skirmish."

Female dwarf Warpriestess 13 | HP: 146/146 | AC: 26(30) | Init: +5 | Passive Perception 13 | Speed 25 ft |

I can heal a few more wounded before I will need to rest and pray."

Whoever needs some healing let me know...I have 3 spells left.

Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster

Zakan nods to the casters and begins cleaning up the mess the party has made of the place

DungeonMaster

Heroes also find a map of the place on one of the orcs and get a long rest. They find out that the cave has 2 floors.
The first floor has plenty of unexplored rooms, but when heroes go to explore them, they find no enemies in them, and treasure, I'm assuming everyone is taking at least a minute or two to explore them, so okay
I'll let you know how much gold and stuff at end of first floor. Room 12, the Great Ulfe room has a +1 rapier held by an Ogre which can be used immediately
They can go into Shaman's Lair room, which has an Orc Eye of Gruumsh, the Great Ulfe room, which has 2 Ogres or the Bunk room which has 3 Orogs, of course they all have minions.
Along the way heroes find a Dwarven Statue, if you plan on examining it, make a perception check and let me know how close you will be when examining it, it is right next to the Great Ulfe room.

Female dwarf Warpriestess 13 | HP: 146/146 | AC: 26(30) | Init: +5 | Passive Perception 13 | Speed 25 ft |

Examine the Statue

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

DungeonMaster

There is a trap in front of the Statue, a pressure plate. The statue is not in front of the door, but five feet from it and a pressure plate is next to the door. If a creature doesn't know that pressure plate is there, they will be hit with 2d6 points of poison if within 10 feet of statue, con save of 13 for half and also possibility of being poisoned if failed.

Female dwarf Warpriestess 13 | HP: 146/146 | AC: 26(30) | Init: +5 | Passive Perception 13 | Speed 25 ft |

After telling the group about the trap, Yolanda asks,
"So, can any of you disarm it? Just in case we need a hasty escape and forget it is there...hate to run over it while disengaging from some other threat!"

Human Monk 4 Max HP: 27 | AC: 17 | Saves: Str: +2; Dex: +6; Con: +1; Int: 0; Wis: +5; Cha: 0 | Initiative: +4

"They did not cover B&E in my training, which seems odd, now that I think about it."

dotting real quick

Inactive

"Zakan is our master-trapsmith, right?" Elaith nods to the half-elf.

Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster

Give me a minute, I'll have this trap neutralized in a jiffy. Give me some space, if you please

Zakan lays out his tools in a row and looks over them carefully. After finding a wedge and a small blade he lifts the tile up and attempts to cut the trigger line before activating it himself.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Human Monk 4 Max HP: 27 | AC: 17 | Saves: Str: +2; Dex: +6; Con: +1; Int: 0; Wis: +5; Cha: 0 | Initiative: +4

Three backs up and loads his bow, keeping an eye out for trouble.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

DungeonMaster

Zakan disables the trap and you know the enemies are in the door in the next room. You were told someone is watching the door at all times, so stealth isn't possible, how you approaching?

Male Mountain Dwarf Barbarian/3 Rage 2/3, Hp 32/32 AC 14 Str +5 Dex+2 Con +4 HD 3/3

double gold would I be able to hear them or the guard yelling a round before the combat starts? them just approaching the door? I was thinking of raging and then trying to break my chains when I hear them coming

DungeonMaster

Chains can't be broken without weapons. So you you all approaching? Knocking on door and setting up an ambush as they answer, opening the door, having the archers ready actions as you open the door, etc?

Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster

looks like we can't sneak a way around. I can disguise myself as one of them and possibly bring one of you as a "prisoner".

Inactive

"You can bring Three or Yolanda with you. While they distract them, you and me can put down some enemies."

Human Monk 4 Max HP: 27 | AC: 17 | Saves: Str: +2; Dex: +6; Con: +1; Int: 0; Wis: +5; Cha: 0 | Initiative: +4

"I don't mind pretending to be a prisoner. I can fight without weapons if I need to." Three will remove his bow and arrows and his rapier and offer them to Zakan.

Female dwarf Warpriestess 13 | HP: 146/146 | AC: 26(30) | Init: +5 | Passive Perception 13 | Speed 25 ft |

"I suppose I can act the prisoner as well...but make sure ye have me hammer close by!"

Yolanda hands over her weapons to Zakan.

Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster

Zakan casts Disguise self on himself and turns into one of the orc soilders.

I will tie your hands with fake knots so you appear bound. When you hear the shouting begin Eliath, well, you know what that means.

With his two fake prisoners, Three and Yolanda, the disguised Zakan shouts through the door just before entering.

I've got two prisoners here, the rest are down.

any rolls I will need to make?

DungeonMaster

They open the door [b]Very good, you caught some prisoners, now put them in there with that prisoner. You all know the drill by now, look for the rest of the group, tourists and adventures rarely travel one or two at a time. Say where is the rest of your group, did something happen to them, you need few of us to go with you?

Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster

how many are there?

DungeonMaster

2 Ogres, 3 Orcs, 1 bear

Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster

Many are hurt and wounded, hurry, gather them and let us tend to their wounds. Zakan says throwing his 'prisioners' and weapons down near the other one tied to the wall. He motions towards the door attempting to get them to turn around. If the closest ones turn towards the door I will signal to Three and we will double team them.

Human Monk 4 Max HP: 27 | AC: 17 | Saves: Str: +2; Dex: +6; Con: +1; Int: 0; Wis: +5; Cha: 0 | Initiative: +4

Three will scoop up his sword, move next to the closest enemy, and attack.
