*Three*
Okay, nm then.
Also worth mentioning that in 5e, you only get to sneak attack once a round, and you just have to have an ally next to your target to get your sneak attack off.
Three moves into melee with a couple of the Goblins and teach them some manners. He stabs the first one and then follows up with a spin kick into either the first one of the blade fails to drop it or the second one if the blade does it's good work.

The goblins are up. 1 Goblin awake, 4 asleep, it is an action to wake someone up. The 1st goblin will wake up goblin number 2. Goblin number 2 will wake up 3 on his turn, etc. Goblin 5 the last one awoke will swing at Yolanda hit: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (9) = 13
All Heroes are up for round 2, 5 goblins awake
Zakan
I warned you. You should have surrendered when you had the chance Zakan growls as he makes his way to the next goblin.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Attack 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Also wasn't there talk of slingers on our side?
*Three*
Three continues his brutally efficient fighting style. attempting to finish off the wounded goblin then move and engage another group of them.
Spending a point of Ki to make 2 unarmed attacks as a bonus action.

Nileera
Sorry, been away, work has had me working around the clock, as in 3a-11, then same day 5p-10, then back at 3a
Wiping her blade off on the goblin corpse, the drow, motions towards her pack.
"I should have a bit in my pack, if you want to grab it. Now, what is going on with you goblins and these kobolds? Why is there a conflict, and what are you fighting over?"
DoubleGold
The goblins answer Ask their boss and what he is really up, the kobolds are evil. I bet you he didn't tell you everything
The kobolds reply We are nearly defending our ourselves, they started attack our clan weeks ago You can ask all the questions you want, but only the kobold leader and the goblin leader would provide any straight forward answers, and even then, you'd better be able to detect lies and understand hidden motives
Zakan
Zakan eyes the two leaders as he takes the rope from Nileera's pack. He takes it the downed goblins and ties their hands together and strings them along.
How are they evil? As far as I can tell they were willing to work with me and you weren't. And who can tell me more about this dragon? Seems unlikely you Kobold's got a real dragon down here, and tamed at that.
I guess there isn't a sense motive, but I will do perception to see if I can detect anything
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 10
DoubleGold
Sense motive is insight in 5e Zakan can clearly tell the two groups don't like each other, but neither group wants to say anything more on the grounds they may incriminate themselves. Alright, there is a door to the east, who is going through and what are we doing with the 2 surrendered goblins?
*Three*
Three begins to examine the door, then stops once Elaith requests it.
"Let's take a look at that wound and see if I can help you with it." he says as he pulls out a clean cloth, needle and thread.
Medicine: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
I figure we can take a short rest as the mechanical version of what I'm doing, since stitching wounds can take a bit.
Yolanda Foehammer
"Come here me lad and let me look at those wounds.", the dwarven lass says to Elaith. After a moment or two, Yolanda's voice sings a few unrecognizable words and a blue glow surrounds her hand. As she touches the glowing hand to the worst wounds on Elaith, he feels a warmth spread through his body.
Cure Wounds: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Just as heroes are about to exit, Three notices that creatures or something wants to come down through the ceiling in the room they were just in, had he not caught it in time, people normally in the back would be forced in the front since whatever is there would in a sense be coming from behind. The heroes can either try to jam the ceiling or ready actions or something else. Think of it like an attic, there is an opening in the ceiling somewhere to get up there. However there was no opening in the ceiling, and nothing for you to pull onto to open the ceiling, but apparently it can be opened from the other side.
*Three*
Three had a driving belief, that controlled everything he did.
Actions were more valuable than words.
As he notices something start to bulge the ceiling, he turned and whipped the spear he was carrying at the point in the ceiling where it would emerge, and then said "Prepare yourselves."
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Damage Roll: 1d8 ⇒ 3
DoubleGold
As the ceiling comes down out comes 5 goblins and 3 hobgoblins, the goblins rushing in first, the first one dropping dead of a firebolt, 1 dropping dead of a dagger attack.
dex: 2 + 1d20 ⇒ 2 + (5) = 7 and a third dropping dead between a sacred flame and a dagger attack.
As a free action the hobgoblins say Fools who surrendered, I'm going to break these chains, you four are going to retailate, or I will kill you
three misses
init: 2 + 1d20 ⇒ 2 + (9) = 11 goblins and hobgoblins

Nileera and Zakan are up 2 goblins and 3 hobgoblins are alive, one of the hobgoblins is going to attempt to go around the party, though that will mean provoking if in melee and they will attempt to attack and break the chains forcefully bringing in 4 goblin prisoners into the fight. None of the hobgoblins are in melee yet, they are spaced out 10 feet apart, so if you get between them, you'd be in melee with 2 of them.
Zakan
Zakan hears this and goes to get between the hobgoblins and the prisoners. If they were anything like you, this should be over soon too
Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Attack 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
DoubleGold
As the hobgoblins wear chainmail, and wield a longsword and a shield, none of those attacks hit. We are nothing like those weakling prisoners, and we are definitely superior to your weak team. As soon as we free these prisoners, they will fight you with daggers against their will if they have to. Killing the kobolds first, the kobolds that dragged them through this place.
Nileera
The drow focuses her thoughts for a moment before reaching into her belt pouch and tossing a small vial to the ground, with a small prayer added.
"May the Argent Maid light our path and may those who stand in our way decimated."
Casting Bless on myself, Yolanda, and Zakan. So for one minute, add 1d4 to all attack rolls and saving throws.

All heroes are up and Zakan gets an Aoonow 6 goblins in the fight and 3 hobgoblins, the other 4 will continue to fight as long as the 3 and 2 live
Nileera
Longsword: 1d20 + 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (15) + (2) + 4 = 211d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Nileera draws blade and moves towards the hobgoblins, her blade striking with purpose and the blessing of her deity.
"While I admire your willingness to free these captives, I must see my duty done. Taste my steel hobgoblin!"
DoubleGold
The chain almost broke, but with a little time bending, Elaith burps loudly, which was just enough to distract the hobgoblin and made him miss the chain a little. The four goblin prisoners are not freed. Elaith however misses the firebolt as he gets anxious that they came close. good use of portent
by the way zakan, that is a crit extra dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 1
And Nileera strikes a hobgoblin hard finishing off the hobgoblin that provoked from Zakan.
Yolanda Foehammer
Yolanda quickly calls to her goddess to give her strength in the coming fight.
"Luck maiden hear the call of your kaxanar and give me strength to defeat these beasts."
Yolanda casts Divine Favor as a Bonus Action
