@Introduce to gaming: Certainly, but at least the bigger one wants to actively participate, and while she has good hand-eye-coordination, her murder instincts are lacking.
With no clear indicators for an upcoming zombie apocalypse, I see no reason to diminish that youthful innocence. So unless there's a Pyro-Vision - Mod that makes you pet the unicorns with a lollipop instead of eviscerating hell knights with the chainsaw, I'm afraid I don't want her playing along.

So, no more daily hospital trips, and no longer a solo-job of keeping the first-born in operational condition.
Both child and primary provider are safely back at home - schedule should allow more time to post again starting today or tomorrow.(Still plenty of stuff to be done, like doing the birth registration, naming certification, plain simple buying food and necessities(for us, we stockpiled stuff for the little ones), a first doctor visit etc... - so as said, erratic posting pattern possible, but the more demanding first 'part' is over for now.)
So, yeah, wanted to keep you updated, and I'll see if I can sneak in an update tomorrow.

This sorta means that Boros is the most suitable candidate unless of course Lily wants this one too and try for a more two-faced approach.

Unless ...

We simply save the uniform and slap it on one of the prisoners for more confusion or perhaps Aldous so he's not wearing that painfully obvious orange stripe thing :P

Hey, that dude was jacked. You could wear your armor underneath and still have spare space in the uniform.

That said, there's a lot of details one could slap people with. But most relevant, probably, would be the question wether a Take 10 on a perception is enough to pierce the disguise you cobbled together.
Because to be perfectly honest: in a sealed facility with guard shifts sleeping at the locale, chances are they know each other, at least superficially. New faces would likely draw attention. So the successful way to blend in would likely be to be so 'regular' that no one pays any closer attention.
Just saying.
(Of course, I'm open to alternate approaches and creative solutions, not gonna handle things rail-roady as result of one die roll. But it's probably fair to say that as in so many situations, the likelyhood of blending in with a disguise is indirectly proportional to the amount of attention one draws to oneself.)

Prisoner transfer? Cell block AA-38? Planar leak? Very dangerous?

The man tended to simply drag the unconscious body wherever it could be more permanently restrained.
The girl does have manacles, though only 1 pair.(I had not mentioned them in the stuff found because I had not thought of them, but I'm intrigued to see where you are going with this so I'll play it off as "they were part of the uniform".)

Prisoner movement is what makes sense for 'why strangers are here'. We just dropped a hood over the halfling face, and put normal sized manacles on her wrists (also concealed) so the chain dangles visibly.

Then we sign her in. :O

Then we play the murder game!

I'm still here!

I was just thinking the other day, My Hell's Rebels game hasn't updated in a while.

Turns out, the game's been going along just fine. I however, haven't been getting updated. In fact, the game doesn't show up on my "campaigns" tab, or in the games on my alias tab (bur does show up from the Aldous alias campaigns tab).

A favor to ask - can someone check here and see if the game shows up for you there? If it is, that means the game is hidden from me and I need to figure out how to unhide it.

I'll get caught up ASAP, and thanks for the PM check-in, GM Mordred!

PS. If you all break Aldous out of jail, he can totally arrange for that prison transfer!

I had a similar issue in another game recently.

Make an post in the gameplay thread to bump it. Then hop over to online campaigns/play by post and select show hidden. Then unhide this game.

That should work :-)

Gonna update tonight. Rough stretch there, SO and older kid have been a bit ill so I was a bit busier than usual - had some break time in the evenings I spend cuddle-bonding with the 3-week old while casually(read: half-dozing off) playing BotW on the Switch, but sleep deprivation did not put me in a very creative mood for anything more productive than that. Finally got to sleep properly last night and intend to update all my games(that need one) tonight.

As you noted, I have a new 'Sprog' around, and consideration+reply sometimes takes a bit longer than '5 minutes after reading the PM'.

And is now reporting to a higher authority - with no alarm raised to make you feel safe while dozens of reinforcements converge on the prison complex?

Or, you know, maybe the little bastard is listening to people talking in their sleep. Or watching that one guy cheating at dice over at the makeshift sleeping area. *shrugs*

Don't forget, Miranda, that those tiny men--and their oversized vehicles figs too--cost an arm, a leg, and a reproductive organ to keep current with the latest faction armybook, are only legal for play in sanctioned games if they are assembled as per said armybook, and must be fully painted as well. (Games Workshop is notorious, and not in any complimentary way, for the way they routinely treat their customers.)

WH40k is not wargame for the faint of heart, light of discretionary income, or weak of mini assembly skills.

The PC games are a good alternative though.

Would not even remotely consider playing the actual table-top(and I got a store 3 minutes from home)...the PC games are mostly fun, though. Mostly.
Well...some of them - others? Stay clear, or be very aware of what you are getting into(Regicide, Space Hulk, mostly anything with Horus Heresy in the title, Battlefleet...)

But yeah the game is certainly something. We have a (somewhat) annual tradition of digging up our old miniatures then dusting them and brushing up the rules to play a single game or two before putting them away for another year. That way we don't have to paint any more stuff and can stave off the plastic crack cravings for a while. But damn all the new plastic kits are usually soooooo pretty ...

@2nd Ed - could be cool. Half the charm of Pathfinder though is the giant pile of (somewhat) usable stuff. Might take a while to get back to that :-)

I'm very intrigued. It does sound like lots of stuff could be grandfathered in from first edition to maintain a pile of useable stuff.
But from what it reads there, creating a character will focus more on the character.
Traits/Alternate Traits always seemed supremely limiting - splitting off ancestry/race from backgrounds/role/class etc could make things significantly more versatile.
(Admittedly, I had not time to get into Starfinder, but I think some of that is there already?)
Anyway, very much looking forward to see where the evolution takes us...

@Alarm: Yeah, tiny or larger creature who don't speak the proper command word. So, yeah, lots of other options. Plus Diminutive or Fine creatures -

I think you really have to be willing to homebrew in order to take full advantage of starfinder's themes; I think that's going to be equally problematic for ancestry and backgrounds. At least for traits/alternate traits, you could typically come up with something that fit - like +1 to two skills and one is a class skill is a super easy sell. Use another stat for this one skill? Super easy sell. Niche +1 to hit or damage? Yup, easy.

I'm the same way I always am: Cynically optimistic.

That list was shorter, and some options clearly superior...(and others should not have been tied to race, but background) - I think that splitting that part into actual steps you composite together gives more flexibility to create a character envisioned.
As in, that orphaned human scholar who grew up in a monastery could finally be distinctly different from the tribal human barbarian with a huge family and hunting experience.
Rather than Bonus Feat+Skilled.(or Dual Talent, Focused Study, Silver Tongued, Eye for Talent - I think those 6 make up 90%+ of the racial traits I have seen choosen for Humans) - know what I mean?
I would expect you have several steps on character creation and get to pick from a pool during each step, allowing you to make more individualized characters with boni that make sense for the background you create...i hope :)
