"BUUUURRRPPP!!!!" as the belch echoes through the place, Churley has a look on his face like the cat that got the canary.

Unnamed

Shortly after the belch heard round the world a stunningly gorgeous human woman enters.

Thank you for joining me. I hope you have found your stay pleasant. I am Dilix. I have invited you here to find out what your intentions are on this plane. I am aware that you have already met with one of the powers that reside here.

I like how you changed the character into a drug name. Having trouble with inflammation of your spleen? Ask your doctor about Dilitrix.

Kixzik is nonplussed by the woman who enters.

Too tall, ears too small, no pointed teeth, eyes an unhealthy blue - possibly due to illness.

Dear lady, my name is Kixzik Andoranman, a merchant from Andoran who has come to this plane by accident with my companions: Seif-al-Din ibn-Subhi, Churley of the Shoanti, Zephyr Jeggere, Beatrice and the surprisingly resilient Arthur Osorkon.

He bows politely.

Currently we have no set intentions here, other than to get back to our own plane of existence. However, given the fragile nature of the plane we may have to repair the plane in order to escape and we will do so if we're able. Failing that of course, I'm sure my comrades and I would seek to find a way to let all deserving folks free should the plane start to move towards dissolution completely.

He warms to this topic.

Which of course reminds me of a fantastic theory I'm forming based on the information you've given, what we've received from the other beings of this plane and our own vision. It appears that the efreeti who escaped this plane were somehow tied into the makeup of the plane given the damage their escape has caused...

Kixzik will launch into a broad ranging discussion of the plane, including discussing several mathematical theorems should no one stop him.

...which brings me to my idea. Given the destabilization of the demiplane by the departure of the efreeti it would seem to me that we need to repair the plane by rebalancing the elemental forces. I propose that we create an artificial sun by building a large mirror that we loft on several balloons into the sky to reflect the artificial sun already present. By doing this we would create a second, reflected heat source by concentrating the ambient light, rebalancing the elemental fabric of the plane.

1d20 ⇒ 20 a pie splats into the side of Kix's face knocking him clean off the chair and onto the table where he lands in a punch bowl.

Kixzik is far too nimble for such a crude attack to embarrass him, especially since he wasn't standing on his chair as he isn't a gauche frog creature full of its own importance.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (7) + 17 = 24

He deftly avoids any punch bowls that might likewise be hurled at him.

Profound, yet sagacious, Beatrice. We cherish your eloquent insight.

He pauses for a moment, and as any civilized Andoran would do, wipes the pie filling off with a handkerchief produced from his Extra-Dimensional Conveyance Container Mark III.

However, if you feel the need to interject - please tell us how you would solve the problems currently occurring on this plane?

Kixzik waits expectantly.

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

I cannot imagine there is a save vs. slapstick.

Since to Churley this appears to be a grand old game, he decides to throw a pie at Seif.

Zephyr steps aside from the growing food fight and wipes some splattered pie from her robes.

”We originally came to this place largely by accident but since our arrival have committed ourselves to doing what we can to prevent this plane’s collapse”, she explains truthfully.

That's what I said!

Kixzik feels a primal urge to fight back in the food fight with a torch or alchemist's fire, restraining himself. Humans rarely slaughtered each other to settle arguments.

no save when you get nat 20'd with a pie Kix! You are in the punch bowl!

Zephyr nods at Arthur’s suggestion. ”That sounds fine by me.”

Unnamed

If I may, the current leadsherip of the genie kind are not to be trusted. However, if you wish to see them I would recommend going to gather more information about the plane first. I suggest the isle of the dead or the smith Arzel on Salenax, though I would recommend finding a piece of armor from the Black spire first as a gift to him

"Where is this Black Spire? Is it dangerous?"

Unnamed

Oh it is another island, you can have any boatman take you there. I would say that every island is dangerous. Monsters genie kin, "elves".

"Churley figure we end up on Isle of Dead anyway. Might as well get it over with. "

then asking a server if one is present "Can Churley get six pack of fizzy drink to take?"

Unnamed

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

"Thanks. " and he stows them in his haversack.

turning to his compatriots
"We now go to dead island?"

The Isle of the Dead?

Who names these things?

(AC 26/17/20; HP 113/113; Fort +10, Ref +14, Will +11; Init +9, Perception +0, CMD 16) Samsaran Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 12

"Perhaps it is strictly accurate? It might be an island of tombstone, and/or undead?"

Unnamed

So it would seem that you are decided. When you know which direction you have decided to go do come back and let me know. After all, we should be friends.

Unnamed

To seif

It is not the kind of place that I usually go to, but it is a place of information

HP 300, AC 55, FF 49, T 22, CMD 60 (80 vs. Grapple or dirty trick)F +25, R +32, W +24, Percep +29, Init +14

Barring any further discussion, Churley will head back to the docks and blow the horn to summon the boat.

Unnamed

ok since no one has posted anything in two days, I assume everyone agrees

The horn is blown and Churley notices that it begins to show some signs of cracking...the boatman comes and the request is made for the Isle of the dead.

The boat begins to move and it takes almost 18 hours to get there.

mark off food

Everyone files off the boat onto the shore, and you are tired, and night has fallen

Push on into the center of the island or sleep?

(AC 26/17/20; HP 113/113; Fort +10, Ref +14, Will +11; Init +9, Perception +0, CMD 16) Samsaran Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 12

Sure... because sleeping on the Isle of the Dead sounds like a fantastic idea ;-)

Seif-al-Din turns to the others.

"Shall we press on? I would not want to stay here any longer than I have to..."
