Tyrnvald Olafson |

Tyr leans over and nudges Stephen with his elbow.
We sheer the top off a mountain that has veins of mithral running through it that we can mine later of course... He laughs as he finishes his ale.
Ruka dear, another please! He clearly seems to be on board but seems doubting of all that has been said.

Castiel the Strange |

"All we would really need is a sustainable resource that can be traded for things we don't have, just like any other town. Or we just fly our city to a mine and gather what we need. Digging out the land from underneath us doesn't seem like the smartest idea. Raising crops and Cattle is a good idea, though if we can become as powerful as he claims creating food and water through magic would be simple enough." Cass explains.

Stephen Baristan |

Well if we can fly that citadel we can move it above precious mining sites and use the teleportation circle to transport the ore to the city where it would be made into finished products. While we wait to become so powerful we can create food and water for thousands of people i would rather have some available on the sky citadel so that we don't run and die on empty stomach. he says with a smile
He turns toward Mailhain
So where and how do we obtain that Magus eye you need?

Tyrnvald Olafson |

That will do Ruka.
He take a big gulp from the tankard.
I'm sure these are all problems to be talked about when the time comes.. As Stephen said, you need us to fine this Magus eye? So where would we start?

Cadwal |

Cadwal just now realized how quiet he was being, and that it was rude of him to take so long to introduce himself when everyone else had already.
Oh, r-right, I am Cadwal, if you wish to know.
He then addresses Mail's proposition.
I am sure it is obvious based on my attire, but I am a man of the cloth, myself. I don't wish to do anything against my lady, Wadjet. But if if what you say is true, and I must hope so, great good could be done through your ends. So for now I will assist you.

Mailhain Starfall |

"So the first plan is to find an elven scholar who calls himself the Professor. He should know the exact location of the Magus Eye, as well as being a valuable recruit. He is very knowledgeable but not very wise, and probably gotten himself in trouble. I shall divine his position and gate you as close to him as I can.
This might take a while so if you would like I can arrange for some rooms. Or you can just wait till I'm done your choice."

Stephen Baristan |

yes please do arrange for some rooms in case this takes longer into the night. I vow to at least try this task you are laying upon me.
stephen looks down in his drink as if to find some inspiration or to process all that has been said. Takes a sip. Stares at the liquid again takes a gulp and sight.

Tyrnvald Olafson |

Take your time Mail, I have a full belly and full cup. Now if there was some entertainment here things would be quite nice. I will just chat with the lovely Ruka some more.
Tyr will walk and chat with Ruka as she works.

Mailhain Starfall |

"Yes, Ruka see to it that these fellows get a room, perhaps a bath if they want. They will be my guests. I will be in the library for the night. It seems the Professor has lost his way."
Turning his attention back to the table "If you will excuse me I shall try to find my friend. You are my guests everything's on the house. Ohh...Before I forget the nights entertainment is on me as well."
With that he draws this sword and lays it on the table. It immediately beings singing. Then he disappears with a soft "poof" sound.

@Stephen

Stephen Baristan |

Zelit |

@Stephen
And that's all you get

Stephen Baristan |

Some, Tyr's request is really unreasonable, and if Maihlan can indeed deliver on the Magus eye then we will get trouble from both inside and outside. I can only hope that i will be so powerful and really a lot more wiser because activating one here is a wold changing event. Not only it was the cause of the rise of a civilization but it carried with it its downfall as well

Cadwal |

"He is a bit forward...", Cadwal says under his breath, while taking a drink of water.
"I d-d-don't know about any fancy magic who-whatsits or what now, or anything about rising civilizations, but I let fate lead me, so I'll follow your lead on those kinds of decisions."
"So, what brought you all here? I'm a wanderer myself... Actually, thinking about it, there's n-not really much else to say about me, heheh."
He smiles awkwardly.

Tyrnvald Olafson |

Tyr is off flirting and drinking with Ruka. This is what he's doing until Mail finished preparations for our stay, or if anyone wanted to come talk to him.

Cadwal |

"Well, i-if you folks'll excuse me... I'm going to get some sleep before we head out.
Cadwal retires to his room and begins his nightly meditation.

Ruka Starfall |

Ruka gives each of you a key and leads you up the stairs at the top of the stairs is a large oak double door that opens into a great hall with wooden paneling and white marble floors. (20ftx20ft)three more sets of double doors go in each direction. Ruka Heads to the right and opens the doors, which lead to a long hallway (10ftx100ft) with a single door every twenty feet on each side. Tapestries line the walls with various themes, Most showing a group of adventurers in various fights.
"Pick which rooms you want. The key will open any of the doors. Each has its own privy you have to pull the chain to make it flush. The baths have hot and cold water so you can make it just right. You just turn the nobs and the water comes out. Mail's design. He tried to explain it to me but I just couldn't understand. My room is at the end, should you need anything." She looks to Tyrnvald.
"Mail's is the one opposite mine. But he doesn't sleep he can usually find him in the library which is the double doors straight across from those back there. Just come get me if you need anything."

Tyrnvald Olafson |

Tyr winks at her as she throws him a look.
Well I had my fill for tonight. Time for a bath and some rest. See you lot in the morning.
Tyr takes the first available room. After getting settled he cleans himself in the bath. He makes the water a bit cool, reminds him of the north. After an hour or so of relaxing and cleaning he heads down to Ruka's door and give it a knock.
Ruka, I am in need of you my dear.
No reason to realy get into this more I think :) Unless she is secretly seducing me trying to kill me or something.

Castiel the Strange |

Cass thanks Ruka and then walks down the hall a ways and picks a random door to call his own. He takes no time at all to make the place his own setting an area aside for his fluffy familiar before enjoying a hot soak.

Mailhain Starfall |

Ruka wakes those sleeping and and interrupts those who are not.She askes you down to breakfast. When you assemble Ruka takes your orders and the food quickly appears. As you finish Mailhain comes downstairs And says
"Good morning to you all. I have found the Professor. But I am unable to contact him. Before I open a gate to him I need to give you a test. It's tradition. If you will follow me."
He leads you to a set of stairs going down. At the bottom is a room with an assortment of adventurers gear placed on the walls. And in the middle of the room is a large arch made of some kind of metal and covered in arcane symbols
Before you go I can tell you this you will not die while taking the test. You can be hurt but you will not die. If you are ready to take the test I will open the portal"

Mailhain Starfall |

Mailhain touches several glyphs on the arch and it springs to life. The arch fills with blue-white bubbles. He turns to you and says
"The blue area is a safe zone. Nothing will harm you while you are in it. Likewise, you can do no harm to others while you are there. There are to buttons, one red, one green the green button is at the end of the hallway. The red button will be on the southern wall. If at anytime you wish to end the test press the red button. Just step though the gate."

Zelit |

As you step in to the gate you feel as if you are being pulled into water. There is a flash of white and you arrive. The room is brightly lit, tho you cannot see the source. You stand on a large blue tile. The walls and ceiling are smooth and white. There is twenty feet of blue tile then it turns white. On the southern wall is a small red button. Two hundred feet away you can see a large green button. A disembodied voice says "Please press the button."

Tyrnvald Olafson |

Everyone on Stephen, we should move as a group, Casters stick to the rear or center. I know it makes us vulnerable against area attacks, but its better then being divided when we don't know the enemy.
Tyr dras his blade and takes a defensive stance shouting out orders.
