Helga grabs her backpack and cloak. She has obviously prepared for this moment. She takes a few steps toward the door, but then looks at the young half-orc "guard" and says "You know I don't go anywhere without putting on my face first."

With that she goes to the back wall where a hideous wooden mask, gruesomely painted, and adorned with ivory beads, hangs. She takes it off the wall and pulls it toward her own face. It wraps around her head so smoothly that it hardly seems to be a mask at all anymore. She has become - impossibly - even more grotesque. "We'll don't just stand there gawkin, boys! Let's go!"

Gordrun is slightly shocked by the sudden turn of events "I.... I'll come with you. Do you need help shopkeeper? There are many other orcs outside, he is right. Leaving would probably be smartest... but we can't abandon those people being rounded up. We will get your leaders and then free them, yes?" He asks. "No one should have to live as a slave"

Him too,” indicating the other half-orc. ”Don’t you worry, boy, we’ll set this town to right again, just as soon as we free the chief. We are going to free your uncle, aren’t we Bar’nash?”

Sunny nods, gives her duergar (He's rilly got'a tells his namein', y'know?) friend one more reassuring squeeze of the shoulder before stepping away and casting spells upon herself.

Cast 'Shield of Faith' and 'Instant Armor' upon herself. Her AC Should go to the blue 18. An' she looks all glowy an' shiny. (^_^)

Before she turns and takes wing. Initially she flies away from both her friends AND the evil Cleric/peoples/prisoners., the better to hide her friend's hidey place.

Circling and rising higher, she eventually circles the enemy group and waits until she's noticed.

Upon the call going up (Or some one trying to shoot something at her) she slowly circles down until she's close enough to call.

"HARK! I declare the false witness!" She makes the intent of her circling clear/obviously centered on the red robed Cleric.

"Would you submit to a true test of faith? Oh, ground digging, dirt crawler?"

Fly Check:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Acrobatics:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

And she deftly alights (Aiming to be opposite where her friends are) a good 15 to 20 feet away from the Cleric who is the center of her attention.

"COME! What say you to a challenge? Are you willing to test the power of your faith against mine?" Sunny flares her wings and attempts to 'puff' herself up to bolster her appearance.

Standing in the sunlight, wings spread and armor glowing... She hopes she looks pretty...

Bar'nash replies "Hopefully... it is complicated..."

Helga, Gordrun, and the half-orc Bar'nash (back in his orc soldier disguise) head south out of West Schulfjarn. After three blocks of back alleys they reach the outskirts.

"The work site is just out of sight from any within Schulfjarn. Hopefully we can take care of those guarding the officials before reinforcements arrive. I'm sorry I don't have a plan past this-"
Bar'nash stops suddenly as the work site comes into view... the wooden tower under construction (now two platforms complete - base and twenty feet up). But what catches his attention attention, is a winged humanoid calling out from above the soldiers and slaves.

"What is that glowing winged creature? It's taunting the orcs? There appears to be more going on here. We need to get a better look."

Gordrun motions the others to keep going. "What a strange town I've stumbled upon'"


The orc soldiers move toward the winged humanoid.
The big man in charge yells out. "Bows! Bring that thing down!"

The robed orc looks to the ground, and raises his voice in a commanding tone. "Surface, my pet!"
Large feral claws tear up earth from under the ground. The mole creature begins to surface.

South of the work site...

Skurn looks to Anumil. "Lets move... strike while the guards are distracted." He then turns back to the half-orcs accompanying you. "Get your nearest men safe first, then hold the line... don't let them surround us."

Nearby, the charmed duergar finishes loading his crossbow and takes aim.

Gordrun heads SW 30 feet (should put me about 25ish at the edge of the map, wherever the DM feels is right) and chugs down a bottle of odd looking liquid.

Drink mutagen, move and draw my sword. AC is 20. About time to start charging :)

Gordrun's features twist slightly as his limbs finish growing bulkier. His silver hide shines slightly and his voice coarsens. He charges towards the nearest guard, growling in a harsh voice "Time to suffer Slavers!"

Skurn and the half orc allies line up along the ridge ready to assist.
Sunny's charmed duergar fires his crossbow. The bolt pings off the armor of the soldier in his sights.

The soldier north of the largest pit reels from Gordrun's strike. His pauldron hangs loose - the strap torn free from the blow.

I'm going to cast enlarge person instead of bear's endurance giving me a con of 28 and a prehensile hair reach of 20' if I'm reading the rules right.

Helga will move to E21, give a MW dagger to the shackled half-orc at F22 and say "Free yourself and the others. Fight your oppressors!"

"Hide?! Ha! I am right here... about to pluck some dandelion fluff from the sky!" The robed orc gestures and spits out a phrase...
A sizzling projectile burst from an outstretched palm... barely missing the winged cleric.
"Feeeed!" ... after seeing the giant mole-creature fully emerge from the ground. The apparent pet turns toward the nearest enslaved half-orc and charges. The intended prey eludes the creature's attacks as it barrels into the cart by which he stands.

The hulking overseer looks across the large pit, grins... and lurches forward. He lumbers around the west edge, then turns toward Gordrun and Helga while drawing his morningstar. "Move!" He hollers at the injured soldier between Gordrun and himself.

The soldier takes a couple steps while drawing his axe, then swings wide.
Bar'nash crouches still out of melee - taking in the situation, and waiting for the right moment to move in.

Gordrun sees the large overseer approaching and shakes his head. "I don't like these numbers. Time to even up the size. " He mutters to Helga.

5 foot step north to d20, drinking enlarge potion, so now I'm large. I should take up D-E 19-20

"Run along little orc, before I finish you! " Gordrun growls at the wounded guard.

Intimidate Wounded Guard: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13


Despite Gordrun growing in stature... and having displayed a powerful swing, the wounded orc soldier stands firm... perhaps emboldened by the large overseer barreling toward his current foe.

To the south... "Go now! Hold the tower!" Skurn calls out to the armed half-orcs who move up behind him.

The half-orc freed by Helga takes a step away from the incoming soldier, and begins helping the enslaved kin nearby...

The three enslaved on the ramp down within the pit make their way to the east side and group up - ready to be freed.

Not sure if the prehensile hair makes me adjacent to two enemies. If so, add 1 to that roll.

Crowd Control:
At 1st level, an urban barbarian gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1dodge bonus to AC when adjacent to two or more enemies. In addition, her movement is not impeded by crowds, and she gains a bonus equal to 1/2 her barbarian level on Intimidate checks to influence crowds.

Anumil spots the mole-creature attacking his victim. With moments to decide, he elects to attack it.

Anumil's blade pierces the creature's hide with his first jab... it is enough for it to take notice, and turn toward him.

The soldier who had been moving toward Helga grunts as he hits the ground hard, and looks baffled for a moment at what had tripped him before working to get back on his feet.

The injured soldier to the south of Gordrun takes a swing as well at the larger target, but misses.

The braid thickens to the width of a club and hits the orc so hard Gordrun can hear the crack of bones breaking. She makes a hex sign with her left hand and looks at the prone orc at E23. "STAY DOWN!"

Gordrun feels the impact of the morningstar into his side. The breathe whooshes out of him, then he begins screaming "NO! RARRRRGGG. YOU SQUISH!" before slicing across the overseer's chest with his sword.

Overseer Smash!: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (16) + 13 = 29 Damage: 2d6 + 25 ⇒ (6, 5) + 25 = 36

Rage time! I'll be happy to trade another blow or two like that with him. AC is sucky, but I've still got over 2/3rd of my HP. Gonna need to heal some after this fight. Effects: Enlarge person (9 rounds left), Rage (7 rounds left), Mutagen (10 minutes remaining)

"Owie!" She exclaims again as another barb finds something soft to stick into. She takes another 'Five foot' step to remain close to the nasty other Cleric and tries to get the weapon out of his hand.

I guess at the time I didn't read this as you actually landing.

... and I thought the ' ' around the five foot steps in your posts were because you were not actually stepping, but flying.

I guess the orcs are probably going to put away their dinky bows then. Good luck!

The massive damage causes the Overseer knees buckle a moment ... like an drunken curtsy.
The nearby orc soldier - hit by Helga's braid slams down broken on the edge, then topples into the wide pit.

The mole-creature attempts a lunging sloppy bite as Anumil flips away.
The nearby enslaved citizen moves back a step as Anumil and Sunny's half-orc reserve move in to free him and the others around the half-built tower.

Round 3 (Enemies)

The orc soldiers south of the wide pit move in to attack Sunny and Anumil - halting Anumil's defensive advancement toward the caster.

The robed orc finishes his casting, and a squat and stooped greenskinned monster materializes... It immediately begins to salivate from the smell of blood in the air. The robed orc begins to mutter in his dark tongue, and gesture toward the vile conjured being.

The Overseer drops his weapon, and enters a rage of his own... his hands reach out to throttle Gordrun.
His assault is deflected, and the resulting pain from some very recent wounds suppresses the power in his fervor.

The soldier within a braid's reach of Helga gets to his feet in spite of the armed half-orc beside him - who slices him across the back of his thigh.

The mole creature - fixated on Anumil - charges after him. It slams against the meager scaffolding abutting the northwest support of the tower, and claws.

Anumil cheerily somersaults over the blocking soldiers and continues to hustle until he makes contact with the robed one.

"HA!" Suny cries exultantly as the group's enemies weapons fly all over the place erratically.

"See the power of the Goddess!" She again tries to inconvenience the enemy Cleric by taking his weapon.

Again, trying to 'Grab'/'Grapple'/'Sunder' or other wise get a hold of the nasty Cleric's lash. I thin a 24 is a good number. (^_^)

Yanking the flail free she quickly pulls it towards herself, the whip in her hand seemingly coming alive as it curls and snakes back upon itself.

"See! The Goddess symbol is more powerful than the dirt napping clods!"

Still trying to improve every one's moral (To hits etc) by a +1 as well with her performances etc.

Gordrun sees the weaponless overseer in front of him "Hahaha, grab THIS!" he snarls as he brings his blade down again.

Overseer smash 2.0: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21 Damage: 2d6 + 25 ⇒ (2, 6) + 25 = 33

He's unarmed now, right? If so I'm moving around him, if he's not I don't want to trigger AoOs so I'm not moving.
