I am here. Work, where I usually post from, has been a real pain, but I think things are slowing down. This is the first morning I've had where things weren't flying across my desk every minute.
GM Wolf
Turkey +1 str
Pecan pie +1 Wis
Pumpkin pie +1 Cha
Cranberry sauce +1 Dex
Stuffing +1 Int
Olives +1 Dex
Deviled eggs +1 random ability score and produce flame as the spell once. CL = you HD.
Hamm +1 con
Mashed potatoes +1 Int or Wis
Torq you get to choose between the two bonuses.
Turkey all the way for Krazok, but what food do you think Selena should get bonuses aside.
No bonus for Klaus.
Selena the Elfen Feline
Yes, pumpkin pie bonus is the same as sweet potato pie.
Yes, that does sound like Selena. 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5 and produce flame, Mmmmmmm.
Tomas Aldori
Nice, +1 to the stat I would most want it in at the moment. Thanks!
Tomas Aldori
Wolf, I know you are AFK at the moment, but I'm curious if you have looked at the playtest classes at all. There is at least one of those that I might like to consider, if they are allowed, though it's is 100% fine if they aren't and my character would actually be more effective using a core class. I could completely see outlawing them all since it's gestalt and they are all basically gestalt.

One of the two arcane casters (Arcanist or Bloodrager) but I have built several different characters and been doing playtesting every Tuesday. Did you ever find an Arcane caster in your RotRL game?
Tomas Aldori
If you are full up, it's no big deal. I am in a game with one of your players and she was pubbing it a few weeks ago.
GM Wolf
Well give me a link to the new playtesting classes. I have heard of them, but not looked into them yet.
We brought in a Druid. Did you want to join? I would want you to post at least once a day but twice would be better. Weekends and holidays notwithstanding.
As what we hoped for this campaign

In all honesty he would have to have a retard moment to touch the dam thing.. He knows it cursed Selena and now he sees a bunch of undead sevitors that it has created and has watched your familiar touch it and vanish.. I would have to play on OOC knowledge to not think it rediculous to touch the dam thing..
It has nothing to do with balls, he has enough int to know it would be playing odds with his life and he's not a gambler with his life..

Well i assume you are replacing Klaus, although i didnt know he was gone for good.. Did you talk to him Wolf? Or?
He was playing our arcanist, so if he is truely gone than we will be down in that area.. He was an Evoker and was planning on gestalting to Sage Sorcerer i believe.. He had our craft wonderous covered and i think was going to take additional craft feats when his feats allowed..
As far as kingdom roles go im not sure we had them laid out to well yet.. I was moving towards Spymaster/Royal Assassin..
I was planning on taking Master Craftsman feat to craft arms and armor at some point as well..
Edit: And you deleted your questioning post lol..
Rigor Rictus
GM Wolf has invited me to pitch a character to join in with this group. Can I ask what you as the players feel might be of the most use in a team member/kingdom role?
Edit: Sorry, this post was originally above Torq's last post. I was going to edit, but was having troubles doing so, and so deleted the entry.

The forums have been so slow this past month... ever since that sale started, and now with a new playtest, things seem to get quite bogged down at times. It's probably just easier to multi-post than try to edit anything I suppose.
You mentioned Gestaulting? I didn't see anything in the recruiting forum that mentioned this was a gestault game... did you mean multi-class, or did I miss something?
Fizzwiddle Glockenfleffor XXII
Klaus was probably targeted to be our king, though Fizzy could certainly do it, he has the CHA for it. But that was not the plan.
We do need an arcane damage dealer. And it would be great if you took craft wondrous. Fizzy has potions covered currently. The gestalt is a recent development. Basically you get abilities of two classes each level and take the best of each. For example if you gestalt fighter rogue at level 1 you would get
+1 BAB +2 Fort +2 Ref a bonus combat feat, sneak attack, and trapfinding.
Rigor Rictus
I've played Gestalt games before, using the rules from Unearthed Arcana, I even ran one; a module based Gestalt game that just finished up recently. I ran a party of 6 level 6 gestalts through a CR 12 module (Academy of Secrets). 4 survived to the end, and completed the module successfully. It was a hoot.
What would be the rules here? Adding in a second set of class features from a given level, or creating a gestalt by rebuilding right back from level 1?
Torq Sharptooth
What he said, except i could not imajine a kingdom ruled by Fizzy lol.. It would probably have a death sentence for poorly cooked pies..
And yea its turning into a true gestalt, as in take the best of 2 classes and combine them.. But we're slowly working into it as some of us are full gestalts and some are partial..
Fizzy's example is right except you would take the fighters d10 hd and the rogue 8+int skills.. You take the best of each class..
Klaus for example was gonna have full wizard casting and full sorcerer casting, d6 hps, sorc skill points.. Full bloodline progression and full evoker progression..
Also we are currently trying to convince Wolf to allow the new advanced classes from playtest so you might wanna wait for that verdict to decide..
Rigor Rictus
Lol. But jerks are such fun... at least for the jerk!
I can make an arcane type, wise and charismatic, if you are thinking that you might need a new king type, but I don't want to steal that role away from anyone native to the group either, so I would be fine either way, just let me know.
@GM Wolf: Can I use the stats I rolled for your Kick In the Door recruitment here, or do you want me to reroll? The rules were similar to the rules in the recruiting forum for this game, but slightly different. This group looks like 7 sets of 5d6, where I rolled 8 sets of 4d6. I'd just hate to let those rolls go to waste.
Fizzwiddle Glockenfleffor XXII
nah you can be king!
I have a jerk in Kick in the door, though that was the fault of the dice I rolled a 5 CHA (actually he has like a 19 pt buy in the end). I enjoy him, because mostly he is just grumpy, with the social skills of an unpopular goblin. But it definitely can cause issues in game, usually when he winds up fighting with a character in game, I make sure to touch base out of game.
Also this is not required…but will you keep track of loot? I am doing it in two other games and I REALLY don't want to do it in another
Rigor Rictus
Sure, can do.
Ok, so ideas for a Kingly blaster gestalt mage...
I can take the item creation feat to keep that going, but for classes, there are a few ideas that come to mind for a gestalt mage:
I've played in a few gestalt games before, and noticed that doubling up on pure caster classes doesn't seem to help that much as action economy never really lets you use all the cool features, you don't get an increase in survivability, and not to mention that from what I've heard, combat in Kingmaker tends to cater to the Supernova style, meaning the large number of spell slots would likely never come into play. Do you want a replacement Wizard, or would a Sorcerer or some such be acceptable? Sorcerers often make better blasters, and the Charisma focus is nice for a politician type...
Torq Sharptooth
At lower levels i would tend to agree with your action economy statement, but at 9th level+ when quicken spell comes into play i think a double caster would rock serious face.. we dont have a full divine caster so something like wizard/cleric or maybe sorc/oracle would certainly be an option too.. I admit some channel energy would be nice.. It's really open for whatever you want though man.. I believe we currently have a Bard/Witch, Fighter/Sorc. and me a Rogue/hopefully Warpriest.. And the the npcs of which i believe they are fighter and ninja..
Tomas Aldori
Tomas also could have eyes for the throne in the long run. Failing that, he can certainly be head of the guard or some such. He has a trade background with a high charisma for that reason.
