I will be traveling and attending a week long conference out of the country from Saturday to the following sunday, if this is a game I play in please bot as needed. If I am the gm then have no fear i am not vanishing. I will try to post once in the morning and once at night.
GM Wolf
First the 15 foot by 20 foot section of floor drops out from under those in the tunnel. 15 feet wide, 20 feet from the force wall back.
If you fail the Reflex save you fall.
If you save you must cling to one of the walls, requiring the climb check.
If you were in the back of the group... Torq, I think that is only you now. And you make your reflex save you jump back to save yourself.
GM Wolf
As we should all know there were some issues with Paizo this weekend. I want you to go back through and make sure that your posts got up. If not re-post them. I am ready to go strong this week and hope to advance all plot lines exponentially by the end of the week.
Make it real, make it fun, make it real fun!
The fall is 60 feet into a pool of water, so 5d6 points of damage. 2d6 lethal 3d6 nonlethal.
Gorgoron
Hey guys, sorry for my absence lately. I have had a recent death in my extended family and am travelling for the memorial. Internet access has been hit and miss. Please bot me as needed. I should be back home and back to normal by next week.

Cloak of the Shadow - Selena
Large +1 guisarme - Krazok
Belt of healing - Gorgoron
Tomas you had a special item?
There are many weapons some mastercraft, ask and you may receive...
Tomas Aldori
Tomas was never given a special item and the only item tied to his backstory was his blade.
Also, what is the Breastplate of the Dusk?
GM Wolf
Tomas besides the magical weapons listed above you find 4 more. A trident, a black bladed kukri, a cold iron dueling sword and a red glowing great axe. The axe looks like it was recently used and has blood on its blade, the grip looks like it has been pitted by acid. There are dark glowing runes on the head as well.
Torq Sharptooth
Of the books the Trap one obviously, mystical cloaks(since he has one), and to be one with the shadows possibly.. This all depends on what they do.. The Importance of being prepared sounds interesting.. Obviously the toughness/iron will book would go good for anyone..
I assume we'll have to id these items in order to use them yes?
That greataxe sounds interesting as well..
GM Wolf
The books normally are read once and the magic that was held within infuses the person who read it, thus leaving the book, though the words are still there for later reading or ideas for others.
The books that don't have the () are still magical, though there are surprises with those and are not Santa presents! :P They have all sorts of game effects within them!
I assume that you will stick around here for a day to rest up.
Does anyone try to heal with magic or do heal checks on the poor elves?
Arvangail Wintry
ok then lets do a book / item recap recap
Arvangail:
Books: To cast in the Confines of Protection ( to learn how to negate spell failure with armor), To Infuse your Arcane Into Your Strike (Arcane Strike),The importance of Being Prepared, a rough leather bound book with fur on its edge (no name)
Cast Detect Magic on the weapons:
spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 vs the axe
Tomas Aldori
To Cast in the Confines of Protection (per my Christmas request)
Eversearching
Dueling sword
Breastplate of the Dusk (since it is for me, though I still have no idea what it is)
Tomas Aldori
Yeah, but I'm betting we have to do research to figure it out. Which, if we are camping here, we will have time to do at this point. Further, can we get some GMNPCing of Gorg or Klaus to get these items identified.
GM Wolf
MC weapons:
Two handed:
Spear
Quarter staff
Lance
Greatclub
orc double axe
two bladed sword
One handed:
dwarven waraxe
longsword
trident
warhammer
throwing axe
sickle
light mace
You can choose to stay as long as you want. I just need some reference. So one day passes and what do you do for that day?
What activities do you do, what do you eat, etc.
Tomas Aldori
To disarm the trap before you step on it( skill focus: disarm trap): Torq
To cast in the Confines of Protection ( to learn how to negate spell failure with armor): Intended for Tomas, multiples want
To Infuse your Arcane Into Your Strike (Arcane Strike): Arvangail
to find inner strength and constitution (toughness and iron will): I don't believe there is anyone in the party that wouldn't like this book, was it intended for Krazok?
rituals with us (teamwork feats): Was this intended for someone and do we know what feat/s it contains. Can this one be used by more than 1 person?
the Legends of mystical cloaks: Torq (Clearly)
to blow things up with full effect ( maximize spell): Gorgoron or Arvangail, though I assume it's meant for Gorg
to craft or not to craft ( craft wondrous items): This is likely better served to be on Fizzy due to his spell lists
The importance of Being Prepared:
To Find Your God and Demand Answers
a rough leather bound book with fur on its edge (no name):Guessing it's for Selena
To be One with the Shadows: I would bet this is for Torq(SF:Stealth) evil IncarnAte: Interesting...or scary
To please the cook with your Meat: If cooking:Fizz, If hunting: Tomas
Eversearching:
the meaning of Life: Are these two separate books or one book
A vest of escape - Torq
Breastplate of the Dusk - tomas GM: What is this item? I can't find it anywhere.
+1 composite longbow str +2 - Arvangail GM: Could the Str on this bow be adjusted to being Adaptive, so STR doesn't matter? Otherwise, the bow ends up not used
A headband of allure, +3 bonus to all Cha checks and skills associated with Cha. Once per day you can project your clothes to be of royal level(2,000 gp worth) for an hour. - Fizzy
Cloak of the Shadow - Selena Not sure what this is, but she's an NPC, so I'm less concerned
Large +1 guisarme - Krazok
Belt of healing - Gorgoron
A trident
a black bladed kukri
a cold iron dueling sword-Tomas
a red glowing great axe-Possibly Torq
I won't lie, after asking about being able to cast like a magus, I'm curious about that BLACK BLADED kukri.
Tomas Aldori
I probably could, if necessary.
GM Wolf
You can only read one magical book at a time. It also takes 10 days to read one at 4 hours a day.
Other items that can be found in the rooms:
A vest of escape - Torq (5,200gp)
Breastplate of the Dusk - tomas (1,300 gp)
+1 composite longbow str +2 - Arvangail (2,500 gp)
A headband of allure, +3 bonus to all Cha checks and skills associated with Cha. Once per day you can project your clothes to be of royal level(2,000 gp worth) for an hour. - Fizzy (1,900 gp)
Cloak of the Shadow - Selena (5,000gp)
Large +1 guisarme - Krazok (2,300 gp)
Belt of healing - Gorgoron (1,000 gp)
These are your Santa gifts, if you item is under 5,000 in price you may add a magical property to get it closer to the 5,000 cap. Thus Arvangail could put adaptive on the bow if it adds less than 3,000 gp to it.
Adaptive is...?
Tomas Aldori
It is +1000g, flat. It's a great modifier. I believe in 3.5 is it was a +1 or +2, but it is so necessary for archers that PF adjusted it. (I have it on two characters, myself)
Also getting it as a special material wouldn't be very expensive and would be pretty nice as well.
GM: For the breastplate, is it a +1 or just -15% spell failure? If it's the latter, could I have it a Mithril Breastplate of the Dusk, thus negating the spell failure chances? If so, I could then pass the book off to Arvangail. It would make the cost 5300 (including the base cost of the breastplate).
GM Wolf
+1 composite longbow str +2 - throwing adaptive on it for 1,000 gp (not 1,000k) makes the item worth 3,500 gp.
No don't worry about stuff before this. That loot should all be on Klaus's sheet and Oleg is carting it off for you.
I looked it up: Twilight Armor is a +1 bonus that negates 10% spell failure. So Tomas, you have a Mithril Twilight Breastplate. It only has a 5% spell failure.
Arvangail, you could just make the difference in arrows, magical arrows. Also I allow enhancements to stack for arrows and bows. If they both have a +1 enhancement, then +2 on attack and damage.
Tomas Aldori
Now that I know what the Twilight Armor is, it's not really viable for it to be mithril, as it has to be a +1 to have the Twilight modifier, does it not? Therefore, it's already 4k...if it's not required, then yeah, I would prefer the mithril to the +1.
