GM, in light of what Xantria brought up, may we place Torq's return with Lelouch on hold until we finish the War Party stuff. It may become relevant in handling the detaiks if his predicament.

I updated my new AC with Mage Armor and Shield added in my vital stats line for ease when you are making attack rolls with NPCs, blood. Is that how you prefer us to modify them when spells are cast, and then modify them back when the spells wear off? (Or are dispelled?)

Hey all. Just wanted to let you know that I will be leaving the game. My work schedule is gearing up for the summer and I just cannot keep up with the number of posts that are required for this game. It has be a lot of fun and I will miss being the Fizz Captain and protector of the Fizz Healer. Blood will either kill me off in a blaze of glory or something...I leave it up to him to decide. Blood may do things his own way, Torq, but typically a surprise round is like the firsr round of actual combat, where everyone rolls initiative, but has an added exception: those being attacked "by surprise" must make a perception check against a certain DC (often the stealth result with modifiers of the attacker). Those who fail the perception check are flatfooted and also cannot take any actions in the surprise round. In some circumstances there may be multiple STDs; for example, in this situation, Torq may have a stealth check of 22. Fionn may have one of 8. If the bandit gets a 5, he can fo nothing. If he gets a 15, he can attack Fionn, but not Torq. If he gets a 24, he can attack either of you.

Note that in a surprise round, only one action can be taken: move, or standard, or swift, or free. Not more than one of those.


Way i understood his post is that they were unaware of us in the bushes, so thats already taken care of.. I knew you could only attack once in a surprise, so i figured a charge would be fine.. i see now that a move and attack isn't allowed cpet by dm.. I can retcon it into a hand crossbow shot instead, with drow poison on it to boot.. crit range is the same, so its a hit.. I'll just have to roll diff damage if thats what he wants todo..

I don't mean to put a damper on your great attitudes. I am fed up being confused as to when PCs take their actions. This may or may not pertain to this campaign, I just want to make sure this is clear. Make sure that you label each post with Round 1, Round 2, or whatever round you are attacking in, otherwise you will forfeit your previous actions and I will take your latest post as what round we are in.

I think I might have to pull out of this game. As much as I want to continue (especially with those ridiculously-good stat rolls), I'm just finding it too hard to keep track of what's happening (probably due to the posting rate you were hoping for from us) as well as keep up with the posting rate due to timezone differences.

I'm sorry, I don't want to but I just can't get my head into the game properly. Do what you will with Xan, though if you need her stats I'd suggest copying them off her character sheet before I re-use it for another Kingmaker game (assuming one'll ever turn up again on Myth Weavers).

Wow we are down to 4 PCs once again. Torq, Fizzy, Rekka, and Klaus.

The botted PCs are: Sajan, Fionn, Alexandra, Bearn, Vik, and Xan. I will not be adding anymore PCs to this campaign, we will see what happens, and when in doubt I have my backup plan still in place.

Super busy day here at work. Happens every once in a while. I'm actually attempting to upgrade the browser this comp uses so I can access the Google Drive map, but it is slow going. Lots of interruptions.


You know blood you could always gestalt the party to make up for our lackings.. I could pick up fighter to become the sorta tank.. The rest of the stuff were missing could be made up for as well.. Just a thought..

Oh, I like that thought, though if we do take it that path, I will be opening it up in game. You have lots of places to explore, and someone could take up Vik's sword if he is struck down and become the chosen... hmmmmm... there are many other options too.
