Okay, after eating too much for the holiday and contemplating Swordlord awesomeness, I have a submission. I know there were a couple more Swordlord aspirants out there, good luck to you guys.
"Alecksi the Ostentatious " Alecksander Paveldrago
Statistics: 13, 18, 12, 10, 12, 13
CG Human Fighter (Aldori Swordlord)
Traits: Sword Scion, Poverty-Stricken, Pride, Reactionary
Feats: EWP-Aldori Dueling Sword, Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus: Aldori Dueling Sword, Shamed (Story)
Skills: Acrobatics 1(5), Intimidate 1(5), Sense Motive 1(2), Survival, (6)
Three sentences: Believing he has something to prove, Alecksi trained on his own very hard to become excellent with the Aldori dueling sword so that when he came of age he could win back the respect he believed his family was due. He called in some favors to get assigned to explore the greenbelt after he was excluded from a local tournament on a technicality of his heritage as opposed to his actual skill, which despite being untrained rivals and surpasses others of his age. He desires to prove himself and the honor of his mother who used to claim that a one night stand with a Rogarvian prince was where the child came from because of which they have suffered economic and social hardships.

Darvan grew up in Bloodcove in the Mwangi expanse, but he is distinctively of Ulfen descent. When Darvan became self-sufficient he left Bloodcove, traveling the wilderness of the world. He is currently seeking his sister who was taken by bandits (which is why he's so keen to run down and question bandits in the Greenbelt).
I have also updated Darvan's gear, link to profile here for your convenience. Always love feedback.

3 monks. 3 swordlords. 6 other primarily combatant characters offered. The Ghost Monk is at least a unique offering in this set of applications. I'm afraid that my Swordlord application is far too easily dismissed as "another" Swordlord and thus relegated to background noise application level.
I hope such is not the case. There's really nothing I can do about it if that is the case, though.
And we wait.

A question: what's your take on the celestial obediences from Chronicle of the Righteous? I'm guessing they're a no-go since they're not in the SRD.
The reason I asked is that my character was originally intended as a worshiper of Arshea rather than empyreal lords in general. It won't make a difference in starting stats since the feat is unavailable until 3rd level but it would affect the fluff text, though only a bit since the overall motive will stay the same.

I have decided to take 5, I have a shortlist of about 8 players in my head, but I will still accept any application that comes in by Midnight US CST. And once we all sober up tomorrow, I'll post the 5 party members.
Thanks to all of you for your interest, I hope I didn't make you too much work to apply, I hate when GMs require you to write a small novella to apply, so I tried to make it as simple as possible so you don't feel like you wasted time if you didn't get chosen.

I was just looking at the mechanical write-up I submitted, and saw an ugly mistake. I recognized the pattern immediately. As I indicated Josef was originally put together for a MUCH more generous character build option for the same AP. I reduced his Dex in order to cover the attribute build difference, and then went through and reduced all of his Dex bonuses. I forgot to throw out "extra" dex listings where different options no longer cause different values to apply (Medium load now allows his full Dex bonus . . ..)
My apologies for such a simple, basic error.

Thank you all for your responses and your creativity.
As I said, I decided to go with 5 and I created a shortlist this weekend of 8. Below are the 5 I've chosen and under them the 3 alternates, who will have first short if one of the 5 decide they can't play or if we have a drop out during the game. After those 8, the rest of you are the next set of having the first shot at a spot if people drop out of the game. So if you ever see me posting, needing replacements, you're guaranteed in, if you're the first one from this group to respond.
So enough hemming and hawing,
The Chartered Five:
Kern Therensgard, Human Wizard — Played by Ramarren
Brok Thundershams, Half-Elf Mounted — Played by nightdeath
Fren Leone, Dwarf Cleric of Abadar — Played by Walter Lindie
Darvan Jullies, Human Slayer — Played by Tiasar
Kyra Lightstep, Human Paladin — Played by MagusJanus
The five of you should create an alternate with your character name, at your earliest convenience and post in discussion. I'm going to list out some things that will help me keep the game organized and help keep us all in character.
The Short List:
Enora Ludevine
Faore
Luljeta Alraune

Lelouch Vi Orlovsky |

I present to you Lelouch.
Controversial but a leader who leads by supporting his team mates. He's a mentally powerful but horrifically, physically weak character.
He supports his team and wants them to work for his cause but will support them with everything he has, as he knows his strength relies on tactics and his teams strength.
He see's the world like a game of chess that he's just itching to win.
