Be it so known that the bearer of this charter has been charged by the Swordlords of Restov, acting upon the greater good and authority vested within them by the office of the Regent of the Dragonscale Throne, has granted the right of exploration and travel within the wilderness region known as the Greenbelt.
Exploration should be limited to an area no further than thirty-six miles east and west and sixty miles south of Oleg’s Trading Post. The carrier of this charter should also strive against banditry and other unlawful behavior to be encountered.
The punishment for unrepentant banditry remains, as always, execution by sword or rope. So witnessed on this 24th day of Calistril, under watchful eye of the Lordship of Restov and authority granted by Lord Noleski Surtova, current Regent of the Dragonscale Throne.
House Rules
1. Battered - When a Character's HP falls below 1/4 of their total HP, they are considered battered. Mechanically, this is the same as the Shaken condition, with the following exceptions: it is not fear/emotion based, it is cured by healing the character to at least 1/4+1 HP, character's with Endurance or Ferocity only suffer half the penalties and character's with Diehard are immune.
2. Fighters, Clerics, Sorcerers and Paladins get 3+INT skill points per level. This is a change from the original, adding Paladin's to the list.
3. Fighters receive Perception and Knowledge (nobility) as Class Skills.
4. Fighters receive 1 exotic weapon proficiency at Level 1.
5. Fighters may ignore the prereqs for Combat Expertise starting at Fighter Level 3.
6. Horse Master is a legal feat for all players and the prereqs have been changed to 2 Ranks in Ride and 2 ranks in Handle Animal.
