My baby is fine, actually quieter than i expected since she stops crying as soon as i touch her forehead. Its been more stressful than i though since my gf has lost a lot of blood and needs a transfusion but we're expecting everyone home some time tomorrow. Thanks to all for the comments!

Incomplete applications just need to be filled in, Dagger is just an idea at the moment so needs filling in and Dean Warmack has fluff but no crunch.

Looking at this we have a few rogue-ish applications and quite a lot of fighter applications and very few arcane or divine spellcasters. If it comes down to it i'll probably end up taking 1 arcane, 1 divine, 1 rogue and 2 figher types just to try and keep the party balanced, but on saturday i'm going to be spending my time in between nappies and working from home (i use the word working loosely) reading peoples characters in full, checking sheets and taking a look at posting history etc.

Update on baby, I've had about 4 hours sleep in the past 2 days so i'm about to take a shower and crash but baby is absolutely fine, both her and mother are currently still in hospital as my gf is on a drip all night for 3 pints of blood being pumped into her. Thanks to everyone for all your kind words and support, my gf has enjoyed hearing about all the people who care enough to be nice to strangers on the internet and i think you all really lifted her spirits when she was down earlier today from the blood loss and lack of sleep.

I think that I will bow out of this one since you have so many applicants.

Another update for those of you who are waiting for results, I have read quite a lot of the applications but not all of them as i have had a few extra things to do.

Today i have to nip back into the hospital with my new child as she has lost a little more weight than was expected and she needs to have some tests done, nothing to worry about and perfectly routine but got to be done.

I will be trying to finish off my reading and get everything posted tonight but if i do not i will definately get finished tomorrow when everything has calmed down, i'm back at work tomorrow anyway so i will have plenty of time in my breaks and lunches to finish off my reading.

So I'm at home finishing up my reading, I've made a few selections and I'm agonising over a couple of choices but i still have a fair few martial characters to read over and pick through.

I got your application in Phiona but i didn't want to put up another post just to add you to the list, i've not read you over yet but i will get around to it.

Edit: I've made the selections, its been very hard to pick from all the really great applications and i hope this pbp runs for a long time since i do not look forward to doing that again, a heartfelt apology to everyone whom i didn't pick.

Having recently lost a couple of people to real life i'm currently opening recruitment again, we're looking for 1 or possibly 2 people depending on applicants using the same recruitment restrictions as the first post. Ideally i would like players who can post every day (weekends options) and are not shy of getting involved in the decicion making process of exploring a vast area.

The party are still level 1 but will shortly be level 2, while they are exploring the wilderness at the moment i do not doubt they will return to their base camp shortly and new party members will be able to join there. Keen roleplayers will fit into the campaign very well and quickly so having a plan for introducing yourself would be a boon.

Recruitment will close on Tuesday morning at 9am bst.

My name is Celeador, I'm pretty new to the pbp, but a longtime pathfinder player. I'm currently active in five campaigns, and if you take a look at my posts you can see that I keep up with the pace your asking for. It looks like you lost a witch and a rogue? What are your other active players? Looks like a Aldori fighter, a Paladin a Oracle of Fire and a Bard and a inquisitor? Is that right? And just to confirm 1st level or 2nd? Also since this character is comming in "after the fact" is there anything in particular that the other members of the group are looking for as they round out their roster.

We lost a witch and a fighter however our rogue is currently mia. The current party is made up of an oracle, paladin and fighter. We're recruiting two more to fill the missing spots in the hope that the rogue will reappear or confirm his absence.

I'll be asking the other group members for a bit of input into what they would prefer but i could not presume to speak for them, however i try to accomodate my players so if for example no one can find traps you will not be challenged by many. If i had to guess i would say that an arcane spellcaster would not be unwelcome. We're recruiting 1st level but i 2nd level is one or two encounters away, kingmaker is very easy to get sidetracked in though so i hope for a lot of interaction between levels.

I will certainly be applying. I didn't end up applying for the initial round, but as the pbp I got into is very slow (but fun!) I'm looking to get involved in another that ticks over regularly and often. I'll have something up in a day or so. Gameplay thread looks fun!

I'm thinking of going somewhere along the lines of Cavalier/Bard/Battle Herald as my progression, though he certainly won't be any pushover. I'll put up a background tonight.

Expect some darker tones, as I do love gritty characters who've gone through hell and high water to get where they're at!

Vael, Elven Fire Elementalist Wizard. I see him as either a wanderer or exile in regards to elven society. He has experienced the power of fire at somepoint in his past and has developed an obsession with it. In truth it both fascinates and scares him, the power to destroy or purify and protect.

Returning to camp, you are suprised to see you have company. Slowly the elf rises, making no move for the bow next to him nor the rapier at his side. Brushing back his long hair, his burning gazes meets each of you in turn. "I am Vael"..........

While Vael may tell people he was exiled, the truth is he ran, ran from his home, ran from his people, ran from his future. Now he is searching for a new future. The stolen lands may be rough and dangerous but they also contain secrets, lost lore and power. Perhaps out here, surrounded by untamed wilderness, Vael can forge his shattered soul into something more......if the fire does not consume him.

I am thinking about a human barbarian, archetypes urban barbarian and invulnerable rager. Background would be he was born into a noble house as the result of an affair between the countess and a tribesman possible a chieftain. His mother knows that he isn't a legitimate son and others suspect. His mother told him and he decided to spare her the embarrassment and possible reprisal from the wronged husband to leave for adventure and build his own position in live. I envision him as a friendly large man with quite a temper but with a good heart, caring for others.

If this might fit what your looking for let me know and I will wright up a background.

A druid would be sweeeeet. That said the Paladin and fighter both have survival wilderness.

I'll leave the DM to cover the rest.

Maksim is still ready to join the group! Wilderness, archery, and good healing are his strengths. I leave to the group's judgement as to the quality of the backstory. I'm in other Kingmaker groups one slow, one too new to judge, but this story seems to move faster than most which I like. If there are any changes needed or desired please let me know.
