A tiny halfling, dressed head to toe in close fitting, exquisite clothing, paces up and down the hall, arms clasped behind his back, a solemn expression upon his face. He stops and looks at the heavy grandfather clock, in the corner of the room, before beginning to pace again. When next he stops it is to stare deep in to the crackling fire, his face drawing down even further. 'The suspense is killing me. The message should have been here by now!'

He sighed, stretching slowly, before moving over to the man sized desk. He hopped up in to the chair, custom built for his size, and pulled a single strip of paper from a stack. He began to make small annotations on the strip of paper, little more than dots and dashes, arranged in the semblance of letters, before sprinkling the finished missive in sand. He sat for a moment, staring at it as it dried, before rolling it up and sliding it in to a finger width bone cylinder.

"Giles!" He called softly and waited. In a matter of moments he heard a click, followed by a slight gust of wind as a young halfling man strolled in to the room, through a small secret door in the bookcase. "Giles, will you see this is delivered immediately? He won't want to be kept waiting!" He handed the man the cylinder, before turning back to the desk before him and pouring himself a goblet of wine.

'No one does!' He sat back and rested his feet atop the table, crossing them at the ankles, as he took a sip of wine. "Ah Cheliax, you might be a bigoted land of Devil worshiping slatterns but you do grow good vines!'

Heh, Sorry, I got restless. I don't know where he is, I don't know when he is, but he is bloody happy!
