Physical Description Miro is a short, wiry halfling man. He is quite small and unassuming, and he uses this to his advantage often, to make people think him harmless. Miro wears his hair long and loose in thick brown curls, only tying it back when he plays his instrument. Miro wears a pair of silver hoops in his left ear, small hoops, given to him by his mother. Miros clothes are well fitting, clean and stylish, without being too rich. Hanging round his neck is a symbol of Calistria.
Background Miro was born the son of servants. His parents were paid servants, family friends and confidants of the noble house Orlovsky, of Brevoy. Miro grew up in the Orlovsky estate and, despite not being a blood relation, was given all of the chances of the young Orlovsky, if not all of the respect. He grew up learning side by side with the heirs, from the finest tutors money could buy, almost being treated as a little cousin at times.
Miro was happy and life was perfect, but boring. Miro longed for something more and it was not till he was a little older, and the lessons pertaining to the art of intrigue became more common, that Miro realised what. He was not the type of man to lust after power, nor was he one for fame or fortune. All Miro wanted was to be necessary. He desired not the throne, but the shadows behind it. He wanted to be seen as a necessity by a great power, he wanted the ears of Lords and Ladies and NOT in the manner of Goblins or Orcs. Miro was entranced and with every lesson, with the passing months and years, he began to get restless.
When he turned 26, Miro decided a change was in order. He left the comfort of the estates of his “family” and began to travel. He planned on experiencing something of the world, before he presented himself to anyone of note. He took to the roads and in no time at all, had made a small name for himself as a wandering minstrel. He traveled for a year or so, till he heard of a small group, attempting to establish themselves in the River Kingdoms. The kingdoms were a good place for little people and Miro was sold. It would be a way to get experience in the field at least, if not a way to set himself up with a permanent Royal position.
