4 Heading to kill bandits
Obi, as usual, is quiet most of the ride, the look of anger so foreign to him clear on his face. He readies himself for the upcoming battle by going over the fiery incantations that burn brightly in his mind, making sure he gets each and every one o f them right, down to the last, faint ember.
Is a readied action to cast Acid Splash(with the fire descriptor) at the first threat to the party possible? First living threat that is. Also, I think that's the most usage of fire related terms I've ever used in-character.

map showing progress and route
How are you going to go into the bandit camp?
1. ride in hard and fast
2. go in quietly on foot
3. scout out the camp
4. cast any pres-buff spells ahead of time
5. etc.......
6. wait til dark.....

Eadric Cuthwulf |

As the Wardens near the bandit camp's location, Eadric reigns in his horse and waits for the others to converge on him. After everyone is close enough he remarks in a hushed tone, We are getting close now, we should probably come up with a plan on how we intend to take the camp. There is a small river crossing before we reach the camp and they have two elevated watch platforms from which to spot our approach. Last time we had planned an assault after dark. Dealing with the watches first and then taking the camp proper. My preference is dealing with the platforms first and then charging the camp from my horse. What are everyone else's thoughts?
Sorry, don't have time right now to get into too much detail/planning. I'll get the ball rolling and check back later. :)

Garric |

Garric listens intently to Eadric's intelligence report. "I agree, we need to wait till dark, as a half-elf, as long as there's some light, I can see pretty well. Are the platforms lit? Lit torches in camp? If not, how do they see in the dark? I agree we should pick off the guards on the platforms first. My bow will come in handy then, I am a pretty good shot with it and I hate those scum. To your knowledge, any non-humans in the camp? I am also somewhat stealthy, so it should help me get within range and hopefully one-shot each bandit. Then the cavalry can ride in! Do we know the exact locations of the bandits or are we guessing? Could you draw a map or do we need more intel?"
DM, is there some ambient light or is it a new moon? Need to know position of torches/light sources to know if I will have concealment/stealth.

KenderKin |
Garrick
The moon is in your favor and the clouds in the sky may at times help or hurt your cause as they will likely at times fully obscure the moons light.
Torod
You realize that the bandits camp with the coming chill of the evening will likely have some degree of foggyness rising from the waters, the fog may at times may both aid and hinder you in your assault of the camp...
At this time you see no evidence of the camp you see the flowing stream in the distance ahead and from the other party know that the camp lies slightly inside the forest along the stream.
ALL
Likely as the day passes lights and torches will become clearly defined and a map approaching the camp will be linked into the game

Garric |

"Seems like it will be cloudy tonight, may affect our vision in the camp, but we have no choice but to strike tonight." Garric pats down Grady, feeds him some fruit, and checks his bow and arrows to kill the time, till it gets dark. Garric then asks Eadric, "Do you know what type of armor the bandits wear?"

KenderKin |
It seems that everyone is deciding on a role to play in the upcoming events.
I am imagining....
(everyone)
Everyone walking the horses toward the camp at the edge of the woodline headed for the camp and discussing strategies as well as letting the mounts rest for the coming battle....
Ellaria
Since your perception score was highest
You see a couple of bandits on horseback headed along the river and toward the camp...
You know that by backing into the woods the bandits will have no chance of seeing you...
You also know that your party could attack those bandits before they reached the camp, but would possibly alert the bandit camp....

KenderKin |
As the remainder of the day passes away toward the night and you edge closer to the bandits camp you encounter no difficulties even realizing that the bandits on horseback were merely a patrol checking the surrounding area prior to nightfall.
From your vantage point as it truely becomes night....
With the coming of dusk and as you approach the bandit camp you are certain that you see the subtle flicker of fires just inside the camp, the glow on the nearby bushes tells you that at least one fire is up and going in the bandit camp……even though you do not see a flame
As you are waiting...
A single torch carried by a bandit makes its way out of the camp into the open field in front of the camp. The lone bandit walks out at least 60 feet in front of the middle of the map area….
He turns his back to you and looks into the trees on each side of the river, careful to hold his torch behind him; he stares for long moments first looking at one point and then the other.
Perception roll (everyone)
DC 20
He is checking the guards on the catwalks positions and visibility, if you made this check let me know and I will mark his lines of sight on the maps for you!
I will add the updated map link when I know the outcome of the perception rolls....

KenderKin |
The sentry's torch is the only one you see, the platforms are completely dark, there is a fire buring deep in the middle of the camp somewhere, they made it where it can not be seen at any distance
As far as the perception rolls
Everyone who makes the roll will get +2 to attack the guards on the platforms, those who do not make the perception check will be at -2 to attack the guards on the catwalks. Referring to ranged attacks only, and assuming darkness. All subject to change.
As you creep closer still you hear laughter coming from the camp....
You hear a female voice rise loudly out of the night...
"Chopped that little witches hand off with this very axe and was close to chopping off the other hand with this axe then everything went crazy. I say we get everyone together and attack Oleg's once and for all! When I find that girl again I am going to skin her alive!"
You hear cheers erupt from the camp with the bandits joining in with whistles and catcalls.

Garric |

Garric will pat Grady and tell him to move along toward the path, saying "I know how much you hate combat, you damn pacifist." Then, he will tell Eadric and the that he is going around to scout to get a better look. "If all breaks down and I get noticed, I will lead some bandits into the woods, while you charge that axe-chick."
Garric will try to reach the bushes west of that wagon on the map to get a better view, bow in hand.
Don't know how many stealth checks you need!
Stealth check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Stealth check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Stealth check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Stealth check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Obi Canicus |

Perception:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
A fire, darkness, and mocking whistles. Obi could almost feel the manacles again as the unwanted memories rise up in his mind, breaking past every mental wall he'd put around them.
With a shudder, he feels adrenaline start to flow through his body and he starts to breath harder. For Imiria, he was going to fight the instinct to run away. If an eye for an eye is fair, what's a life without a hand worth?

Eadric Cuthwulf |

I know I am a little late but...
Eadric responds to Garric's questions, We weren't finished our previous scout of the camp before the 'incident'. As such I am afraid I do not know if any non-humans are present. Then or now of course. I do have a map, drawn by Ula previously. Eadric produces a crudely drawn map and shows it to everyone.
Map has been forwarded to KenderKin so that he can post it...

Eadric Cuthwulf |

Eadric also pulls back into the bushes when the patrol passes. Shortly after he whispers to the others, I am not one for stealthy approaches or attacks from hiding, I would be better suited to a horseback charge into the camp once the way has been cleared. Garric, you and the others should deal with the sentries and then once the attack begins in earnest, I will ride in and join the fray. Does this sound agreeable?
Perception check 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Eadric notices the bandit with the torch, but nothing more...

Eadric Cuthwulf |

...tell Eadric and the that he is going around to scout to get a better look. "If all breaks down and I get noticed, I will lead some bandits into the woods, while you charge that axe-chick."
Eadric nods silently in agreement with Garric's plan. Eadric's eyes remain fixed upon the yonder camp, the laughter from the bandits echoing in his mind. He reflexively clenches and unclenches his fists in anticipation of the coming battle. As Garric moves towards the camp and the other's make their own preparations***, Eadric moves a short distance away to a spot not visible from within the camp and mounts his horse, hopefully unseen. Once mounted he leans over and whispers words of encouragement into his steed's ear. Straightening up he looks momentarily skyward and whispers a short prayer to guide and protect all those that fight alongside him this evening. Finished his prayers, Eadric tightens the strap on his shield before firmly grasping his lance and leveling the point in the direction of the camp. He awaits the call to charge.
*** EDIT:
Before Garric leaves, Eadric produces two vials and offers them to the group, Oleg gave us these in thanks for dispatching Happs and his men. They might prove useful here this evening. One is curative and the other bolsters one's defenses. We should determine who best will benefit from these gifts.
Potions: Cure Light Wounds and Shield of Faith +2.

1.So far, I see 4 bandits + leader, correct? 3 around fire + 1 on catwalk, correct?
2. The sentry with the torch, was he one of the bandits around the fire?
3.Can I see the other platform from my current position?
4. Can I tell how the guard on the platform got up there? Ladder? Climbed the tree?
5. How hard would it be to climb this tree?
6. What time of day is it?

KenderKin |
Garric
1. Correct 4 bandits (3 around the fire + 1 on catwalk)
plus the leader who is there.
2. you see a bandit who looks like the one with the torch, and a torch sets beside the fire where it had been laid.
3. yes the platform is in the trees at the edge of the map,
4. there is a rope ladder up to the catwalk that the guard has not pulled up yet!
5. It is late evening and darkness is falling.....
The wagon is just beyond the trees that have the cat walk.
You are currently about 10 from the ladder and guard on the catwalk

KenderKin |
Garric
As you wait one of the bandits goes from the fire to the catwalk and the bandit from the catwalk comes down. A second bandit leaves through the trees and within a few minutes a different bandit comes back. This is midway through the night.
Two of the bandits from the fire retire for the evening leaving only the female and a male. They appear to be drawing in the dirt and talking in hushed tones.

KenderKin |

Garric |

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26; Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

KenderKin |
Garric
OK only one bandit on the catwalk....
and he is now dead an narrow through his throat.
As part of his job is to raise the alarm he is holding a thunderstone
I am saying as he goes down 50% chance the stone goes off with a loud noise......
I will use the dice roller if higher than 11 on a d20 it goes off..
1d20 ⇒ 2
Garric
The guard goes down quietly
Everyone else
Garric has been gone half the night with no sign of him and no noise

KenderKin |
Garric
As you take over the sentry's position you now have a better view of the camp. The areas with black lines are areas you can not see, ie can not confirm nor deny someone is there. The white lines are bandits, you see 4 bandits, one in the other outlook, one in the area between your catwalk and the other catwalk, finally the two bandits sitting on stumps (including the female with axes).
Garrick
this has taken about an hour and a half of the time, sunrise is about 1 and half hours away....
Everyone Else
As you wait out the night uncertain as to Garrick's fate and staying awake all night you realize it is less than two hours to sunrise...

KenderKin |
Garric
The second sentry goes down...
again I will roll the chance that sentry raises the alarm in addition will roll perception checks needed to notice the sentry going down...
noise
1d20 ⇒ 15
of course with the thunderstone falling out of the sentries hand and hitting the ground with enough force to set it off
perception checks
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29
Everyone else..
You hear a sudden thunderous noise from the bandits camp!

Torod |

"That's either very good or very bad. Either way, it's time for us to go in."
Torod moves to where he can see a bandit and targets him with a Storm Burst if within range or a sling shot if not.
Storm Burst 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Sling 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

KenderKin |
Garrick
The bandits quickly marshall toward the area between post one and post two and away from the side of the camp
[spoiler]
AND
[spoiler]
You have a surprise round to take an action, make an attack move etc. Before the action starts in earnest....
Everyone else.
As you charge into the camp everything is in disarray and the bandits are headed away from you and towards the front of their camp.
roll perception checks before attack rolls........

Garric |

Surprise round: Attack on random bandit, hopefully one within 30':
Garric remembers the hatred he felt, reliving his mother's fate, and said hatred only fuels his aim, as he shoots and kills each successive bandit.
Attack:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20;Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7...add +1 hit/damage if within 30'

KenderKin |
OK everyone charging into camp or what not....
Make the following
Perception roll
Description of what you are doing
Attack roll (if needed)
When you post post your roll look at the appropriate spoiler/spoilers and then edit your action and add the attack/damage rolls to the post.
Perception
DC 15
You see 2 bandits running behind the camp fire
...
DC 16
In addition you see an archer on the catwalk above the camp
