Uthor casually lifts off from the rooftop and slowly flies toward the boomtube portal looking to see if anyone needs a ride. He leaves the cloud of fog in place. He offers any companion to the boom tube.

"What's an Enzyme?" Uthor asks to anyone still on the roof. He looks through the open doorway into the warehouse filled with his fog for anyone coming their way. And does not see sh!t.

Uthor crosses his arms and floats above the doorway to keep an eye on anyone who comes out, such that he remains in their blindspot up and behind them. He surveys what he can see from the height seeing as if the fog was not there.

After a month of RL, I (the player) forgot the plan and phasing. Uthor would not have forgotten after 10 minutes from making the plan. So, I'm still going to leave, because the pace of this game is not my speed. Enjoy the game!

You're right. And all those references were internal monologue. Never does he say that outloud. So, unless your characters read his mind, I say again, your characters do not know that he is a prince. And, do any of your characters know Atlantean politics? It's been what 10 minute of Game time, since they were introduced. But ALL GOOD tho, please separate what the players know vs the characters. Sorry, for my assertive reaction, but I'm hyper sensitive to this specific issue in PbP. Thanks

Uthor looks toward the newly formed audience and sighs, "so much for phasing." He pushes his Fog Cloud down through the door to engulf the warehouse.

@Elton Did the door open? Did it set off an alarm? Where is the roof access relative to the map? Above and office, I imagine. Uthor looks toward the newly formed audience and sighs, "so phase or whatever." "How can I be waiting for someone calling himself Mach 3?" He stands away from the door and crosses his arms. And for the record, none of your characters know that Uthor is a prince.

Uthor lightly touches down on the roof of the warehouse surrounded by his cloud of fog. While he can see through the fog, he keeps the lines of sight to his companions fog-free unless others would intercept them.
The prince hops to the door access to the rooftop, so he does not make any noise. He tries to open the door. If it's locked, he forces the door open. And continues to quietly pull until the door opens.

With no one asking for a ride, Uthor slowly lifts off and brings his two-third of a mile in diameter cloud of fog with him. He precisely keeps his new team mates clear of fog, so they can fly to the roof of the target warehouse. Since Uthor can see through clouds and fog, he keeps an eye on the villains. Their mission is to scout what they are doing and report back. Not engage with them. But, who knows what his team mates will do?

"That's fun. How close do you need to get to ask the spirits?" Uthor comments and then asks Catrina. Fog begins to slowly appear around them, while the area immediately around the teenagers remains precisely clear.
"Who needs a lift to the roof?" He asks everyone.

Uthor listens and nods, "aye. I can carry any of the non-flyers." "So, the plan is to Boom Tube a couple of blocks away. Fly to the roof under the cover of a cloud of fog." "Catrina asks the spirits about the place." "Then, phase into the warehouse, two at a time, to check it out." "Sounds good? Missing anything?"

Uthor smiles and nods to the four other students, even the necromancer. After a comfortable pause, he fits the communicator in his ear and asks, "It doesn't seem that any of us are particularly stealthy." "I can create a cloud to conceal us landing on the room. Perhaps there are skylights or a trapdoor from which we can observe what is happening inside? Or Greekfyre, can you phase all of us inside?" "I assume we want to stick together in case Mr. Freeze or Captain Cold are there, right?"

Uthor listens to Jessie and Mach 3 while putting the communicator in his ear. After a comfortable pause, the Atlantean prince adds, "that's a good point. What abilities do we bring to the mission? As an Atlantean, I stronger than your average human, and I also can control water. Which up here, allows me to control the weather." "How about you?"

Uthor accepts a communicator from Cable and looks to the other students. "Do you know what this Captain Cold and Mister Freeze do? More than just cold-based powers." "Or, any other questions?"

Uthor is about to reply to not-Kryptonian declaring that he would love to return to Atlantis and that it has plenty of air bubbles within the city to accommodate airbreathers - they were not barbarians - when the Batman interrupts. As the Prince of Venturia and royal hostage in the court of Atlantis for as long as he can remember, he is nonplussed by the famous caped crusader. When the dark knight appears to finish his brief, Uthor treats this task as an opportunity to show that he does not belong here and asks a series of questions waiting for reply before asking another question: "Do you have an image of this warehouse and floor plans?" "Do you have an image of where this warehouse is within Gotham City? Can I assume we can Boom Tube wherever we want?" "What security do you expect?" "Who do you expect to be inside? And, where is this Captain Cold?" Looking sideye at Cable, he asks, "have you issued communication devices to the team?"

Uthor looks a bit tired of the questions on subjects of which he has no idea. Finally, he feels a bit saved by the possible Kryptonian who did not confirm where he is before ironically him where he is from. "I'm Atlantean. The King of Atlantis is forcing me to attend this school." Uthor sideyes Cable.

Uthor nods to Catrina's introduction. He looks surprised and then shrugs at Mach 3's comments. After a pause, the teenager replies, "Yes, I believe that I received an invitation too. But, I could not refuse." "Are you a Kryptonian?" "What's popcorn?" He asks with genuine curiosity.

Uthor stands not quite six feet tall with a lean muscular build and shoulder length black hair. He wears a short sleeve wet suit colored red, blue-black, and bright sky blue highlights with bare feet. He nods at the introductions and replies, "hello." After introductions, he side-eyes Cable and asks with teenage overconfidence, "are you being forced to go to this human school, too?" |
