background:

Arik was raised in the foothills and woodlands of the Principality of Ulek. His father was a bowyer and fletcher as well as a small time bandit, and he taught Arik all of those trades. When Arik came of age, he decided to strike out on his own, wanting more than the subsistent lifestyle of his father. He traveled with a few caravans working as a scout, and has recently taken up a bounty on a rogue running from the guild in Gradsul, Keoland. Information he gathered has led him to the borderlands.
