Some evil force begins animating the giant corpses and they begin to rise!


Nah, I'm not that much of a jerk.

The party is able to finish of the remaining giants (even the first ogre that was slept that I was hoping was about to wake up and murder Daardra, but alas the giants ran out of time....)

Prior to departing, the rescued prisoners inform the party that at least one more band of giants went ahead of this group with more prisoners, Alderman Tarram Shinnerman was among those taken. They say that the leader of the other giant band was an enormous brute of a giant called Gristlecrack. In addition, they tell you that they heard the giants talking about meeting at some sort of cathedral called the "Tinderhall" and that the giants were eager to return to the valley so as not to miss the mustering for the Storm Tyrant's army.

After a good rest and much healing (let me know if you are able to return to max; otherwise keep track of your current HP), the PCs continue to follow the stream they, which eventually turns into a river. The river drops down into a large, winding valley. A wide, well-trodden (by giants clearly) trail, descends into the valley alongside the river.

The valley lies beneath the slopes of several tall mountains, carved by a snaking river fed by numerous mountain streams that spill from the Mindspin mountain's icy spires. The mountains are thousands of feet high, with steep slopes, cliffs, and rock walls. It is clear that moving across the valley floor will be significantly easier than traversing the mountain slopes above the valley.

To be clear, by rest, Eng was expressing a desire to spend the night. Get spells and such back. We traveled to initial cottage had a battle, then went to the village, then traveled on and had a second battle, then traveled some more and had a third battle. So really want to get spells and heals back before another possible TPK battle like we just had.
