Daardra steelily waits until the swarm of five trolls is almost upon the party before blasting them with a fan of flames.
The trolls largely avoid the blast of flames, but in doing so completely lose the strength of their charge giving the party the initiative.
Move back behind melee'rs and cast Haste

Ghun whiffs badly, but his follow-through stroke obliterates a troll; Eng waives a flaming sword around threateningly; Daardra speeds up the action; Orett lands a punch.
Nearly a half dozen trolls swarm over the party!

Ghun smashes down his remaining troll easing the crush on the other melee members; Orett lands a hammerblow; Daardra cackles; Eng falters and almost goes down under the crush of troll fury but recovers and lands a scorching slash.

The giant is no match for the fury of Ghun's hammer (or maybe he just wants to rebuild as a gnome cleric!) and falls to the ground dead. The party quickly makes sure all the troll corpses are properly burned.
The massive cyclops had 1,000 GP worth of treasures and a +1 ring of protection

The party easily follows the wide trail left by the giant raiding party.
About two hours later the party espies a large campfire and a group of orges and hill giants arguing about something. A group of exhausted looking humans (almost 20 in total) are roped together, cowering in a group near the fire and a massive metal cauldron with steam coming out of it.
How many ogres? How many hill giants?
