What about the Yrch Starbucks? Surely they buy and sell an extensive array of high end magic items, along with their customary assortment of fine coffees?

Eng could certainly use a couple shots of espresso.


They do, but the tax and fee structure is very regressive. That's why yrch are always moving somewhere else looking for a more libertine set up.

If these goat guys set up to ambush us again, I think Daardra should drop Glitterdust and/or Web on them. Both these spells have a good range and should enable us to incapacitate the goat people so we can move on.

If opportunity presents, Eng and Ghûn will also upgrade armor from +1 to +2 and G will also grab +2 wisdom headband to raise will save and some skills.

Threefold Aspect is a Patron spell, while not bad, not sure it's worth a 4th-lvl slot. Maybe, though.

Bloody Arrows I was thinking about casting on Orett. Extra attack with Flurry of Blows/shurikens. Stackable bleed damage, up to 4 a turn right now.

I”ll create a new character tonight.


Given the range of burning hands, Eng reckoned there was no way haste could have been cast in what would have been same round. However, he figured the DM would say otherwise so he must have dropped his shield while entering the melee, still getting the hang of that pesky iron hand.


GM ruling was burning hands was a readied action that popped before the 1st round of combat. PCs win combat, Daardra pops haste, +1 AC! :D

All that being said, if you are feeling the need to scratch the itch of character creation OK, just recognize it could be for an entirely new campaign.

I don't see much point in an individual PC death as there is no real penalty for it. You are just going to create an equivalent PC in lieu of anyways. If it advanced the story somehow or was a cool ending I could see it but otherwise unless it's a TPK, what's the point?


Now if we said the group had to continue on with just 3 PCs or some other form of significant drawback (reduced level or stat buy), then death becomes interesting!

It’s fun to create new characters, try new builds, tweak old builds, use different personalities, etc.
