I've sent everyone a PM. Your first homework is to do what the PM tells you. Also, if you haven't yet, read the Campaign tab for expectations of the game. Some of you will need to fix your alias page to have your vital statistics in your posts.

For Roll20--- once I get that up and you see your token, if you want to photoshop/paint/edit your token, let me know. I didn't have unlimited options so I most likely don't have your colors or weapon as you envision. If you want to change it yourself if you have picture editing skills, I can send you the .png file.

The first part of the game is Roleplaying only... I will post it pretty soon. You can get all of your other jobs taken care of while we start things up at the same time.

Yep all working for me now, thanks. Made me realise all the different permutations of attack bonus a magus can have even at level 1!

Charles are you an Unchained Rogue or Regular Rogue?

Just wondering why you picked one over another :)


I've played an unchained rogue. The big draw is that you do dex-to-damage by level 3 or 4, with a particular type of weapon.

Yeah I agree Charles, great start.

Ton is kind of grizzled, apathetic with some things, a know it all with others, borderline alcohol/tobacco dependant and generally unpleasant much of the time.

In short, he's sort of a dick.

As long as we can all find ways to make our characters want to work together, differently-aggressive personalities are so awesome! This should be fun for all of us to interact.

I figured the same; that Charles would have to track everyone down given all the points of interest I mentioned. But I underestimated the desire of adventurers when it comes to alcohol. Should have known better! All good adventures start in a tavern...

Yeah, that happens pretty normally in Roll20. (Accidently dragging yourself off screen and then you can't do anything about it except ask GM to fix it).

I'm using Order of the Stick icons for the entirety of our Roll20 experience. If you haven't read that web comic before, google it, because you are missing out! It has been running for over a decade now, and tells a really in depth story (eventually).

Helpful hint for Roll20- Hold the alt button and then use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out really easily without zooming your entire browser.


Oh, also the arrow keys move your character one step instead of using the mouse, if you want to do it that way.

Ton's leg isn't mechanically going to slow him, or us, down. He pushes through the pain barrier and moves 30 feet per round. But will likely complain about it all the while.

It's just a role-playing aspect I thought would be interesting.

It's been a pretty good start as you said Charles we all seem to be our own character and stand out. Wulf maybe a bit of a knob spending to much time with Ton, but he's very loyal to his friends so we'll be all the best of friends over time.

That makes sense. A 100+ year old elf should certainly be better than level 1 after all. Maybe his skills have degraded from too much booze and too many old injuries. :D

Great start to the game and I can't wait to see how inept you are all at battle. Except for Wulf probably.

Couple of pointers to make our game even better. So when reread it later it feels like a true novel.

1) Double check your post either before or after for typos and edit them out. Unless you are talking and typos are part of your dialect.

2) Remember to include quotes around your bolded conversation

3) Write in the present tense. "Ton runs toward..." not "Ton ran toward..."

Yup, I might be a professor. Sorry... feel free to point out my mistakes too.
