Woot!
Making a dot and getting ready. Unless otherwise stated, Uriel is waiting for some clue to "jump in" at the moment. I am assuming there is more set up to come before I start posting his actions or whether or not he is there.
Hey guys, all this plague and horror stuff is creepy. Lets blow this joint and go to the River Kingdoms. /player revolt. :P

Sorry for not posting yet, but every time I've tried to enter in my information I've gotten distracted, Gone back to studying for an hour or two, and had my profile time out :P However, hopefully it will work after this time.
Eldrad wow that is a lot of gear. Also multiple saddlebags do not let you carry more. Couldn't you get a cart with all that money you spent on saddlebags?

Yay favored enemy human giving me a +2 bonus on survival checks. How to explain I get scent with my character with my eidolon out though is another story.

Spoiler:
DC for a fresh trail using scent is 10. p 304 Bestiary
"For each hour that a trail is cold, the DC increases by 2."- also Bestiary p 304.
I would use my mount Bugler, w/scent and his learned trick "track", but too much time has passed. :(
It is probably easier, "strictly" by the rules. to do it ourselves. However, I don't know how ulgulanoth adheres to these things in game. Personally, I would be fine with fly rulings that ignore the above. Maybe I should just shutup and wait for a ruling. ;)

Simple answer: Magic.
That being said, I really probably won't be posting much for the next few days with finals going on, and me feeling slightly sick right now.

Also, most of us can assist the others. Also I'll call my Animal companiopn/Mount to about where we are, but keep him out of the sight of the villagers so as to not have them go "OMFG SNAAAAAKE XO"

If they would react that way to a snake, I wonder what they would say upon seeing my (small) serpentine eidolon with a human face, fangs, and arms (with hands.) :P
I see that I have a ton of ranks in swim for Blade. Not sure why, doesn't make much sense. Would it be okay if I split that out into a couple different skills?

Kulthar, yea you can split the skill ranks if it makes more sense to you
Eldrad, yes, roll another survival check to see what you can learn from the tracks
With any luck, I will be back to 2nd shift tonight (1530 to 23330) and then not work again til Monday when I will be back to first shift (0720 to 1600) and be able to post more regularly.
AM I correctly understanding the map if I interpret it to mean that each character space is five feet and that the "critter" is huge sized and takes up a 15 ft by 15 ft space? Is the water considered difficult terrain? Or can I even tell about the water? Sometimes, clear cave water can be much deeper than it looks...But, the boy should give some reference.

yes each [o] is five feet by five feet, the creature is huge
the water is considered difficult terrain, it looks deep though the boy is being held above the water
@ ulgulanoth
Thanks for the clarifications. Are we waiting on the fish-thingie to act or has it already acted in this round or is this a surprise round where it doesn't act?
Sorry for doing this in-game, but I no longer am employed, and have several other pressing issues in my life right now. I will have to drop this game. The best of luck to all of you.

Hey everyone, been reading over this and am really intrigued by the concept. If any player slots open up, I'd love to join in. I can commit regularly (feel free to check up on my other two pbps on here to verify reliability).
That is nutty and sort of awesome. I take it that the BAB is fractional (Medium BAB as if a 6th level character, not BAB +2, as per Wizard 4?)
Even if I don't get to play, I'm going to build this character over the next day just for fun. I've got a concept in mind for a sort of traveling mystic and jack-of-all-trades.
Only core races, or are Bestiary 1 or 2 races allowed (If not, I'll go Elf)? (again, even if only for theory)
Last question: would the old 3.5 Carmendine Monk feat be allowed (Int-based Monk) to help prevent MAD?
Sorry about this guys, but I just got a new job and it will put a big cramp in my gaming. I'm going to have to leave this PbP. Thanks for the great time and interesting concept.

I'm sorry to see ya go Kulthar
W Canepa, sure, there is now a space open, as for the feat, it looks balanced enough, sure...
Thank you kindly. I'll have something up by tomorrow night, if that's cool.
Is it okay to play a tiefling from the Bestiary?
Also, how would the Scrollmaster archetype, from page 89 of Ultimate Magic interact with the Monk's unarmored AC bonus? Could Scroll Shield be used if the character is unarmored and still retain the monk's AC bonus, or would it "be" a shield for the purposes of the monk's AC?
