So, for quite some time now, we've been moving at a snail's pace, and I'm not really sure why. I know Aldous' wife just had a baby and River has a crazy busy work schedule, but we've dropped to only a couple new posts per week. Is there something I should be doing to speed things back up? I've seen far too many games die due to lack of posting (either from players or from the GM), and I really don't want that to happen here. I'm having too much fun. I'd appreciate it if I can get some input from everyone as to what's going on and what needs to change. If necessary, I can pause the game until it's better for everyone, but I don't want to do so except as a last resort.
tl;dr Gameplay's become extremely slow-paced, and I'm not sure why. Give me some feedback and make suggestions.

My baby break is almost over and as such, my life will be falling more into a regular routine starting Monday. I am actually staying quiet with this part due to know what is where. Otherwise, I would be guiding a bit more. When we are dealing with people, you will see Aldous more often.

River Calah |

I have no idea what is here as this is the first time ever playing this campaign.
Good news for everyone, I have just been accepted for a different job, so starting next week sometime my hours should be more human and therefore more time to post. :)

Aldous Mathis |

That's exciting. Also means you can lead the way ;)

River Calah |

I am SOO excited! I start tomorrow and should be able to post properly from Wednesday / Thursday!

Enya Cendrillion |

so, guys, I found this awesome artist who can draw awesome portraits of your characters if you give her the details. Her prices are really reasonable. here is her Info and portfolio
And YAY RIVER!!!

Enya Cendrillion |

I HAVE OFFICIALLY GRADUATED COLLEGE!
Also I wont be able to do any posting for the next 3 days. graduation stuff and all.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Well, it's been over a month since I posted my concerns, and we're still trudging along at a snail's pace. I know RL happens (and myself and Enya have had things come up too), but when only 2 people are reliably posting, it makes it very difficult for me as a GM to keep the game moving. If the stagnation is my fault, I need to know what I'm doing wrong as a GM. However, without player input, I'm completely out of ideas. I'm willing to give it a little more time, but I'm very close to ending the campaign unless something changes.

Aldous Mathis |

I'm here, though I was at a con in Charlotte for the last few days. Hence the lack of a response in that time frame.

Aldous Mathis |

I would like to at least finish book 1, but I genuinely like the characters in the group, so I would hate to lose the game. We could try and recruit and have the people be characters we rescue with our missing crew.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Hmmm. That could work. And it would be a good way to give you guys the Infernus encounters. At the same time though, I've become heavily involved in "Pathfinder Encounters" here on the forums and am also preparing to start recruiting for RotRL in a week or so. I'll think it over while waiting for Alain/Enya's input.

Cuddles!!!! We are going to Kentucky on our trip to GenCon!!! Where can we play PFS?

Aldous Mathis |

That is an aspect of the trip that I am not sure of, as of yet. We have rented a bus and are heading up, stopping in KY due to limited number of hours a driver can drive in a single day. Then we hit Indy early the next day and have 5 days of gaming before our return trip. So we will be there Tuesday August 12, but beyond that, I am Jon Snow and know nothing.

Cuddles |

If you're headed to Indy then you'll probably be on I-65 if you're coming north which means you will pass through Louisville, the city I'm from. I-64 also comes through Louisville so that means you'll come through here if you are from most of the the south east.
If you arrive in Indy early the next day, then it's likely you'll be stopping here as Louisville is two hours away from Indy.

GM Hills |

That is exactly the time frame I was told, so that stands to reason that it is where we are stopping! We are bringing a bus of 22 people going to Indy to play PFS (or run it) and just realized how close that is to La Grange, which is where my dad lives. Go figure.

hey YBD I applied to your goblin game then needed to back out. Since then I have been following your games. Smart move combining the two Reign of Winter games.
My question, is this game dead or just AWOL I really like the Cuddles character and was thinking of characters for the re-recruiting (is that even a word?) anyway just thought I would ask, thanks. RH
