For level up, I grabbed the read magic cantrip, chose skill rank for favoured class and put 1 rank in craft alchemy, escape artist, intimidate, knowledge religion, perception, sleight of hand, stealth and use magic device.

Reminder for the clarification-I am not going to have this crowd kill off any of the kids. If combat is inevitable it's easy to scatter them before they have a chance to attack. It's purely for atmospheric flavor to make sure the characters know that they are all in very real danger.
I take it no one in here is interested in the Harrow Point system? I personally am confused reading about it, so the card drawings can be purely thematic.

I don't really know much about the system or what it's supposed to do. I was in a game a few years back that used Harrow readings but I'm not sure if it was what is laid out in the books or something the GM substituted.
That one involved the character choosing a card, I think by a dice roll but I don't really remember, and receiving a boon based on the suit of the card that could be used once during the book. A new reading was done for each new book.
I did find this conversation thread about the Harrow stuff over in the CotCC forum. It might be helpful. I can't say because I didn't read through it.

To be honest I might not do the bonuses for the harrow point and instead just do readings, and depending on the reading's results each character will get bonuses on attacks and saving throws on certain battles.
Does that sound good?

As for loot I'll take that wand unless somebody else particularly wants it.
And just to double check has all the loot been entered into the loot sheet?
Outside of Yagrin's loot, which I don't recall anyone taking, all the loot is accounted for.
I also added a map of Korvosa as a whole in the tab for future references.

Regarding the current loot list, I would NOT sell:
* 3x Potion of Cure Light Wounds
* +1 dagger ---> for Prax or Amandine?
* 1 adamantine arrowhead
* oil of keen edge ---> for Prax?
* wand of magic missile (23 charges) ---> for Kyki or Trebelle
* 1 dose of silversheen
For these items I put No in the column Sold-Yes/No?. The rest can (and - in my opinion - should) be sold, unless another character needs anything from the list.
However, this item puzzles me:
a masterwork dagger with a strange blade shaped like a key bearing the inscription: "For an inspiration of a father"
Does anyone know anything about it?
@GM KoolKobold: Actually, we have nearly all of Yagrin's loot: Romli retrieved the wand that Yagrin could not activate and afterwards lost in the water. And Prax searched Yagrin and took all his items (except the leather armor).
So please add Yagrin's loot (without the leather armor) to the list. Thanks!

If the price in the loot list (345 gold) is correct, then yes, it's CL 1.

Divo really has no opinion on the loot other than we definately don't want anything tying us to the queen's jewelry. Actually, not sure I had him elaborate on that yet.

The wand is kinda okay. But having to shoot 23x 1d4 bolts or getting 345gp, I'd say we're better off with the GP

Prax could take the +1 dagger, but she will get dex to damage with only one weapon group. That will be heavy blades since she'll be using it with her elven curve blade. A dagger would only be a backup weapon for her.
So, it's nice to have but if Amandine or someone else would get more use from it, they should take it. If not, Prax will take it over selling it. It's a magical weapon available at 2nd level and that's not something to pass up.
She will absolutely take the oil of keen edge. Very handy for her!
Added Yagrin's gear. Not sure if the wand of acid splash is listed as the correct price.

Well, it's 1d4+1 force damage that always hit (except for the shield spell) which might be very helpful, depending what we encounter.

I think I'll keep the wand of magic missile at least until we level up again, then I'll probably sell it.

You know, I think Prax will hold on to that hand crossbow in the loot. It only occurred to me today she might be proficient with it, so a double checked and yeah, UnRogue gets it as a proficiency.
It's not a great weapon generally, but it is easy to carry and can be used one-handed, which could turn out to be useful in some situations. Besides, it's masterwork so why let it go when it's sitting there for the taking?

I put Prax's name on the loot sheet for the things she's taking. I think it's better to keep things on the sheet rather than removing them. It can be handy to have a record of who has what as time goes on.
