Troy Silverblood
Ahoy Mates, I'll like to join this adventure. I'm Troy Silverblood, at your service.
Please take a look at this character and see if i need to fix anything to join your campaign. I haven't written a background yet. I'll get that down as soon as possible. Basically his father was a captain and was disgraced by his men. This lead his father to commit suicide. From that day forward Troy's live goal is to become a captain and clean his father's name. I took the Buccaneer's Blood trait which answers why he stopped by port peril.
Thanks for the consideration.

@Sooshura - everything looks fine
@Troy Silverblood - I'm not allowing any 3rd-party classes, you'll you need to submit someone else. Sorry.
@Rickard Screed - everything looks fine. you may want to include a separate line under the "Offense" section for when you're using TWF. Not necessary, but makes it easier to remember the penalties.

I knew about the Swashbuckler Rogue archetype, but he's using something else. Did a little digging and found this: Swashbuckler which appears to match his Character Sheet.
@Troy Silverblood: please correct me if I'm mistaken

Am I correct in assuming that the Discussion thread is before the Campaign traits ending? So in my instance I have a drink in the tavern as I am just about to seal a deal and then everything goes black. Seeing as we are in a tavern, I figured this would make more sense and help with progress the beginning of the story.
How does that sound to you?
Lies
Wow, I didn't realize there was roleplay going on already in the discussion thread, better finish up my fluff so I can join in...Also, I ran into a snag, I haven't picked my free outfit, and it will put me into a medium load :(. So I switched out my armor to something lighter (leather) so I could afford the weight, even though I realize I wouldn't necessarily be carrying everything all of the time (And I could always drop my backpack in combat).

McKeegan was an odd dwarf.
He always felt more at home near the sea than the stone. He saw his art in the wood and chemicals instead of stone and metal. He kept his beard shaved to allow his nose to be able to sniff the concoctions he brewed (and because of that wee tiny accident with the fire that one time, never you mind.)
When he was of age, he left his tiny village and boarded a ship for sea. On its first voyage a run of disease killed the saw bones and left the Carpenter's Apprentice, McKeegan, in charge of healing. So his saw was put to use cutting off limbs and his chemicals went to healing the aches and pains of the crew instead of building masts. It was there he began to be called Bones, for his personality as well as his new profession.
The thing was, he took to it like a duck to water. He was good at it, good at healing and keeping dying men alive and fighting. Good enough that when his time was up and he docked, he left the ship to take an offer to board a Chelish naval vessel, the pride of the line and a fat paycheck as well.
At least, that was the plan. A stop for a drink at a lowly tavern changed everything. Now the gods only know where he's bound...
Lies
Here's Lies' history, it's rather short, but it answers the questions in the OP.
At the age of seventeen, Elizabeth Verity left Riddleport to become a pirate herself, joining the crew of Besmara's Bodice, serving as the ship's swabber. She wasn't valued as an important member of the crew, and eventually she left that crew, coming to Port Peril when the ship docked there. She was now 21 years old, and looking for her destiny.
Lies is an actual nickname for the name Elizabeth, so she introduces herself as such, "Elizabeth Verity, but you can call me Lies." Lies being a nickname for Elizabeth is not a coincidence, that is how I found the name and I knew I had to do something with it.

I'm definitely still thinking barbarian, but having played the game, I don't want to go overboard in optimization. Had that issue with my alchemist my first go around.
Was definitely thinking dwarf and was thinking either sea reaver or invulnerable rager (but I feel like invulnerable rager might be a bit overpowered, in some aspects).

River wrote:You definitely have me feeling nervous, although it isn't the fading to black bit that worries me. It's the waking up in a strange place ... such as a chips hold, in a cage.Don't worry. Just remember that there is nothing to fear but fear itself.
And me... ;-)
Cuddles yells, AND ME!!!, but soon realizes that he may have misunderstood the statement and looks around sheepishly.

So, having just lost out on another recruitment, I started lurking around for somewhere to put this character to use, as the creation process had left me chomping at the bit to play with him.
Ive tried to get into S&S games several times, but the always draw overwhelming amounts of applicants (as shown here). Your initial recruitment post left me feeling confident this game will last, so here I am.
Character stats and the end of his background are currently set up for the other PbP I applied for, but I will edit that if im selected.
